Before I became a Bark Buster, I needed a Bark Buster.
Jake scored a “F” on the Bark Busters behavioral quiz. While on walks, Jake used to pull me to the point where I tried everything to get him to stop. I tried every collar and harness imaginable; I even carried treats with me. No matter what I tried, he seemed to do what he wanted to do. When the front doorbell rang, forget about it! It was like he was fired out of a cannon. Although alerting us when people were approaching the house was what we wanted, he took it way too seriously and was obnoxious about it. He would bark too much and charge the front door. If the person actually got in the door, he would jump up on them, mouth their hands, and would be a knucklehead for at least 15 minutes until he would finally settle down . . . that is, until someone in the house moved. Then, he would start up all over again.

When he turned four, we realized he would not calm down on his own. When we had company, we were forced to keep Jake in a separate room, on a leash, or outside. Jake had no manners, and we had had enough!

Since Bark Busters, Jake now scores an “A” and is the dog our family wanted. (To see more of Jake, click on the video links below.) When Jake and I returned from our extensive certification program, our neighbors and family noticed a difference in him right away. They saw that he was more relaxed because I was a better leader for him and could clearly communicate with him. He is now attentive to our needs, respectful of our house rules, and yet he still gets all the love and attention he can handle—but on our terms.

I am so excited to be a part of such a great family-oriented company that can help families become closer by allowing families to realize the full joy of companion dog ownership.

Like our family, you have a dog because you want it to be a part of your family—not to be the ill-mannered relative no one can stand but invite anyway because, after all, he is family. We would all prefer to hang out with the cool aunt or uncle who understands the rules of your home and respects your leadership.

Bark Busters teaches you the best way to communicate with your dog in a way your dog will naturally understand because we leverage the same techniques dog use to communicate with us. Lessons typically last 2 hours. And if your dog reacts like an average dog, you will likely see some positive changes in its behavior during that time. (Read some of my clients’ testimonies if you don’t believe me.) Any issues we do not get to, or any new behaviors that come up, we back up with our Life of the Dog Guarantee . . . so you are covered!

Just imagine if you could train your dog as well as he has trained you!

Patrick's session was simple to understand while being both educational and productive.  The format and content is ideal for the busy family.  We learned why Phillie (our beagle) behaved as she did and how to correct it all in less than three hours.  We are on our way to training ourselves and our dog for a lifetime of better behavior.  The fundamentals of the dog training seem logical and they produce fast results.  The overall short length of the session combined with the improved behavior and easy-to-understand principles have left us satisfied and happy.  In three hours or less, you will better understand how your dog thinks and why it acts the way it does. Additionally, you will have already experienced positive results and noticeable improvement in behavior.  The lifetime training guarantee makes an already affordable service a tremendous value. --Andrew & Marcia Evans, Fort Myers, Florida
