Why Bark Busters?

The Bark Buster Mission Statement
Bark Busters mission is to establish a global network of licensed dog behavioral therapists and trainers to enhance responsible companion dog ownership with education in pack law and canine communication, to reduce the possibility of maltreatment, abandonment or euthanasia of companion dogs.

As a Bark Busters Dog Behavioral Therapist, I am committed to our mission statement. After meeting Sylvia and Danny Wilson, the founders of Bark Busters, I knew they shared my love of dogs. They have established a company that has saved thousands of dogs lives by teaching canine communication and natural training methods that dog owners can use to have a more enjoyable relationship with their dogs based on love, trust and respect.

The Guarantee
The Bark Busters guarantee simply states that if the client carries out the training instructions provided at the training lesson, the Bark Busters therapist will work with the client for the life of the dog at no additional charge.

The Trainer
I started training dogs in 1969. I have shown dogs in AKC obedience competition and obtained numerous obedience degrees with my dogs. I have bred and shown German shepherds for many years. I have also shown Dalmatians in breed competition finishing my dog, Ch. Happy-Dal Waldo Pepper’s AKC Championship. I am no longer involved in the competitive side of showing dogs. I am a companion dog owner just like most of my clients. My enjoyment comes from having three well-behaved rescue dogs. Every day is a new, fun experience helping people enjoy their dogs and relieving stressful situations in their homes.

What We Do
I teach my clients how to communicate with their dogs in a language the dog understands to eliminate unwanted behaviors. If nuisance barking, aggressive behavior towards people or other dogs, jumping up, pulling on the leash, nipping/chewing/mouthing, digging in the yard, toileting in the house, separation anxiety or over-excitement sounds like your dog, then Bark Busters can help. I also teach basic obedience (sit, stay, down, come), puppy training and MORE!

How We Do It
Bark Busters training is all natural; I will show you how to establish the leadership role in your household. Dogs are willing to surrender that role if they feel safe with their humans as the “pack leaders.” By using our simple and effective techniques, we turn problem dogs into happy, relaxed companion dogs.

Within 5 minutes of working with Kuma on his first lesson, Frank had already trained Kuma not to jump on people. I was shocked, since I had been unsuccessfully trying to teach him the same thing for a year and a half. The training was absolutely effective in training the dogs. Frank was very through in teaching me how to be a leader and let me know that my dog was capable of behaving the way I would like her to. Thanks so much for a very informative first visit. I know it's been only a couple of hours since you left, but I have to say I already see a difference.
