The Bark Busters training system is based on how dogs naturally learn and teach each other. My goal is for you to have control of your dog. After you learn and practice the Bark Busters system, your dog will respond to you, his leader, through respect, not just reacting to food or fear.
Clear communication between dogs and their owners is the primary means for a happier relationship between them. Most people talk “at” their dogs, not “with” them, and I can help you to understand the difference!
A little about me . . .
How many people talk about doing what they love for a living but never actually get there? I was one of those individuals, and now that I am a Bark Busters trainer and behavioral therapist -- I am doing exactly that! After many years of working in the world of high tech, I exercised an opportunity to explore the next chapter of my career life. On a parallel path, I was given a gift from my German shorthaired pointer, Lucy. She provided me with an appreciation for the value of a healthy human canine relationship.
Bark Busters was initially founded to help people whose dogs had behavioral problems and were in danger of being abandoned or euthanized. Such a mission is one of the reasons why I am here today. We use all natural and non-physical methods to help you and your dog communicate more effectively. And we customize the training to each individual dog and owner to address your personal situation and circumstances.
