Hello-rnrnWe just adopted a 2 yr old redbone coonhound last weekend and need a lot of help with training. The biggest problem is he keeps trying to jump on us every single time we sit anywhere. He will literally crawl on top of us. It seems like he is trying to dominate us. I have no idea how to stop this. I have spent hours at a time trying to get up and redirect his attention but he does not like to play with toys or chew bones. If we push him away and say "off" he is only more determined to get up. I have researched everywhere and can't seem to find any advice on this, please help! He is a sweet dog but I am worried about him developing more behavior problems or aggression if we don't correct problems right away.

my dog refuses to pee near home and has to be walked 1/2 a mile away before she will go. I normally walk her every night but because of my work schedule I haven't been able to on a regular basis. I've tried tying her up and rewarding her when she does her business but this stubborn pup has developed a UTI from holding it. I'm getting a bit frustrated with her.

Here lately he has become the naughtest dog ever. He is starting to pull the chair covers off the furniture and is chewing up the cords on the lamps, VCR any thing he can get to. He is also chewing up the register covers. He won't stop jumping on people and when you discipline him he runs and hides or chases after you and bites at your heels. Please help me as I love the little stinker but need some help.

Hello, St. Croix has severe separation anxiety! It's no wonder because after he was adopted he went with me to work. I did not want him in a create because I knew he needed to be let often to relieve himself. He was only 6 weeks old at the time of adoption. He's spends 24/7 with me. He will go with my husband on walks, but is reluctant. I've tried leaving him with neighbors for short periods of time and he still "freaks" out. HELP!! :):)
