Hi, my name is Brian and I need a bit of help with my beagle Miles. We recently adopted him from our local shelter 2 weeks ago. He had to get neutered so we had to wait a week until his surgery to take him home. Since he is getting used to the new area and home, I understand that he could be a handful at first. He was perfectly fine in the first few days he was here until we started walking him. I believe his last owner already taught him sit and stay so that helped but when we walk him, he likes to pull a lot. He's starting to pull less but still has moments of excitement. We try to avoid other dogs, people and moving objects to get him used to walking correctly. Now whenever we get him close to anything that moves like dogs or people he barks nonstop. We usually pull him away but he still barks every time we meet somebody. We have a deck in our backyard but no fencing yet. We try to relax out there with Miles but whenever our neighbors let their dogs into their yards, he gets really loud so we go back inside with him. Whenever we give him a bed or a bed sheet for his crate he likes to bite it and pull it. Sometimes he even looks like he's trying to mount. We had to take them away from him and replace it with blankets. Now he rips them up so we had to take that away as well. He also has the tendency to cry or bark whenever anybody leaves the house. But the last thing that has recently started to occur everyday is his playfulness and aggression. Whenever we start to play he gets really aggressive and barks at my family and I. Miles even goes as far as nipping our toes or hands. He only calms down if we wait it out or my dad yells at him and confronts him really closely. I need the most help in controlling his aggression. If you could reply back with an answer then that would be great! Thank you.

This question is about: Toileting

My English Bulldog 3 years old likes to pee on blankets, carpets, clothing. I used to keep her in a crate and she would pee if there was a blanket I. The crate and then when I would leave her in there without the blanket she would pee. My mom took her for a while and she would sleep in the mud room and go out through the dog door. She would go outside to pee unless there was a blanket or carpet in the room. Now we leave her outside at night because otherwise she will pee on any type of cloth in the house. I'm worried for the winter because I don't want to leave her out.rnWhat can I do?

We have a Jug that is just over a year old and let me explain the situation, when we first got him we was living in a house in a fenced in yard, at first like a normal puppy he peed and pooped inside but with a month or so of crate training he soon learned to go outside and had a doggy door to go in and out as he pleased. We lived there for about 10 months or so and now we moved and are living in an apartment now, where he cant go in and out as he pleases! Ever since we moved he i donno if hes confused, or stressed, or like what or all those or more? But now he poops inside mostly and sometimes pees, and alot of the time he does tell us he needs to go out and we take him out alot and keep him out there for awhile and sometimes he poops out there and then sometimes only pees and then not long after coming back in he poops inside the apartment most the time when no one is around! yesterday it was weird we were running through the house playing and he stopped and froze with his ears down and i was like whats wrong buddy then he took off so we continued to play for another min or so and right in front on me started pooping but it happened so fast it was like as if he couldnt hold it anymore but he never showed a sign he needed to go out except for that pause but honestly I didnt think thats what it was. anywho I need help on why you think he is doing this and help to get him to stop I cant take it anymore! after he poops i been spanking him saying NO BAD, and then putting him in the crate I donno what to do help please!!
