This question is about: Separation Anxiety Toileting

My dog has been with me for 10 years. He stays with my daughters family when he can't be with me. It should be noted that they have his little sister in their house. Due to health issues he has been with them for the last five months. He has separation anxiety from me that is progressively getting worse. He at times used to poop in his cage, maybe twice a year, but it has become a weekly thing for him. He has to be caged because otherwise he pees in the house. I'm home most of the time so he isn't caged as much as now. Is there anything you can suggest to help? My daughter is at the end of her rope. He take medication from the vet when needed. Can you help? Quick suggestions? Is there any training for this condition?

This question is about: Separation Anxiety

We just adopted Bentley. He is a very sweet dog with only one big issue - big time separation anxiety. I get it, his previous 2 owners never had time for him. What I would like to know is if this can be resolved? I have to crate him 2 days a week when I go to work and run the occasional errand but feel horrible knowing how upset he gets.

This question is about: Aggression to a dog or other animal or where the dog is aggressive to the owner or a stranger

When we bought our GS as a pup he was very nice and liked other dogs. When I left the military and moved back home into my brother-in-laws house with their Husky he didn't do very well at first. Then we put a muzzle on him and after about 3 days he was good to play with her. However now she bites him all the time and he isn't allowed to defend himself according to my in law. He also has to go away when company comes over because of people not really liking the fact that a huge GS is out in the house and they are afraid of him. Here lately he is starting to growl at everyone and he has even tried showing his dominance over our 5 year old Chocolate Lab which he has never done before. My wife and I have a 4 year old son who Titan is usually good with but is now even growling at him. We love our dog and we feel like he is acting like this because he is a project of his environment but any help would be great. Like I said we love our dog and don't want to get rid of him. Please help.

This question is about: Aggression to a dog or other animal or where the dog is aggressive to the owner or a stranger Barking at people, dogs, animals, birds or where the dog barks for attention or at the slightest noise Puppy Management

I got Emanuel 3 days ago and I'm trying to introduce him to the family. When my parents walk into the room he growls and barks, and when they try to pet him he nips gently. I had my parents give him treats, don't work. I know it will take time but what else could I try to break this? Thank you!
