My dog is constantly barking at us when we sit on our couches or on the bed. We have tried disciplining him, but he perceives that as playing. We have tried ignoring him until he stops, and that will only help for a short period of time. We spent a lot of time with him sitting on the floor for the first few months we had him, but it seems like we can never sit on our couches anymore without him barking at us and jumping up. Is there anything we can do to stop him, or is this something he will grow out of?

I've had her her whole life,I also have a 7 ur old male datchund terrier mix. They've always been together. Recently 3times she has gotten very aggressive toward him for apparently no reason. Even though he's smaller he's always been the boss, so to speak. But three times she's went after him. Barking, snarling, growling even biting himrn She towers over him in size. But I've separated them due to my fear she hurt him. What could be causing this behavior? As far as aware it's only happened these times when the 2 of them and myself where in the yard. What should I do to stop this?

Hi i was messaging you because I have a question about my puppy.. I adopted her from the pound and I love her to death and she is playful but kind of aggressive.. She keeps biting me but I just thought it was because she is teething but I don't really know? Can you please give me dog dominance symotoms or behaviors? Also, she has been pooping in the same area where she is not allowed to but she barely started doing this like 4 or 5 days ago because before that she had been pooping and peeing where she is supposed to, on the pee pads. Any ideas why she decided to start pooping where she's not supposed to? Please help. Thank you I appreciate your time. :)

We rescued behr about 4 months ago and he's been awesome! Very lowkey and when we got him about a week later gradually we introduced our neighbors to him when they came over and he was perfectly fine! He is very smart and has obviously had training done before because he comes when called sits stays lays down etc. I noticed ON walks when we met a dog he seemed interested and would let the dog smell him and vice versus but I noticed his hair would stick up on his back but not in the middle just the shoulder blades and butt area, once we actually nipped a dog. This was weird because his foster family (who only had him for a week) had other dogs and he got along just fine! And as for people he always has been low key and laid back he'd smell them and then go lay down, he rarely barked liek ever, now he barks at the door and at people and sounds, one of our neighbors was outside and came running at behr (he has met behr multiple times before) and behr barked and nipped his calf, we assumed that it wa s because he was running to him, also one of the other neighbors was getting out of their car and was walking up their driveway and behr ran across the street and barked at him, and the guy just put his hand down to let behr smell him and behr lunged at him, I was so embarrassed and no matter how many times I called behr back he wouldn't listen, I have no idea what's going on all of a sudden, is he becoming more protective?

Caesar has 2 major problems:rn1. He likes to bark for attention and whine . We put on earplugs to ignore him when he barks and then I treat him 5 seconds after he stops barking. Is this a good training? How long will it take to work? Because he still barks after a while of training like this.... Why do I feel like I am encouraging him to bark and then become quiet (like he has to bark to be quiet so I will treat him) by treating him?rn2. He also likes to bite :/ He bites a lot.. not just nipping... he bites pretty hard from Day 1. I try to say "ouch" or make "dog hurting sound" but he doesn't seem to care. What can I do?
