I yelled lay down at my dog one day in an angry tone and ever since then when ever I say lay down he thinks I'm angry at him. I've tried giving him a treat when I say it and I've tried saying it in a happy tone but he still thinks I'm angry at him. Is there anything else I can do?

My dog will absolutely not go to the bathroom outside. She will only go inside. I got her used to the leash and going outside. But still will not use the bathroom. Tonight she scooted her butt across the grass and shown signs but after 30 minutes of standing in the cold she did not go. When we came in I'm pretty sure she peed in the house. Didn't see it but saw what I thought was fresh stain. She sometimes uses a pad but not always. Please help with tips.

This question is about: Aggression to a dog or other animal or where the dog is aggressive to the owner or a stranger Pulling on the Lead

Blu was adopted into our family just under a year ago. He has always been reactive on leash since we got him, and he gets along well with our other two dogs, but today he wouldn't calm down and was reactive around another pit bull mix who is obviously going through something similar. I tried to introduce the dogs with a gate, but they were both ready to tear into each other if we had let them. He is not a mean dog. Has always just wanted to play with other dogs before. Usually I am able to redirect his energy with treats and he calms down and listens. Not today. Any suggestions?

Hello, we have had oscar since he was a puppy he is now 7 years old. Oscar has always had problems with any dog or child getting close to his food. I now have a 1 year old daughter who just loves him and always wants to be around him when she steps near his food he growls or if he gets to close to him he growls. There is sometimes he just love her too. He's snapped at her a couple of times and he has bitten her just barely puncturing her skin. He is very jealous and territorial. My question is, is he to old to be trained? It breaks my heart to even think about getting rid of him. We don't know what to do

I am unsure of what is causing my dogs new behavior. All of a sudden he is peeing in the house and going through the trash even though nothing is in there. I can leave to check the mail for no more than 10 minutes and he will pee on my friends things and have trash scattered throughout the house. He has also bitten two people recently. This is extremely out of character for him. He has never bitten anyone, did not use to pee in the home or eat the garbage but since he turned 9 in October his personality has shifted. I need help understanding him so that I can get to the root of the issue versus being angry about his behavior. Thank you for your assistance.
