Roxy is a very energetic dog and enjoys walks. When she was about 3 months old she started biting any one that goes outside with her and that tries to pet her. I've tried saying ow when she bites given her diffrent chew toys telling her stop and giving her time out but nothing has worked. The kids are afraid to play with her and can't go to the backyard and play because their afraid my mom is getting tired of the behavior and has been debating to give her up. She destroys toys anything that she can chew on she will grab and destroys it.

This question is about: Aggression to a dog or other animal or where the dog is aggressive to the owner or a stranger

Hello there,rnWe currently have a 3yr old choc lab and just adopted an 11mo old redbone coonhound a week ago. The redbone is very sweet and friendly to humans, plays with the lab fine but doesnt do good with feeding and especially not sharing toys. My question stems from an incident that, happened when my lab was playing with a toy and the redbone was on the couch watching. The redbone attacked the labs neck and ear and wouldnt release his bite now matter what we did. My lab was hurt and now timid. Is the redbone better off in a family with no other animals.?rnThanks

I have 9 dogs in my home. tonight, one of the males bit another. my wife and I jumped up to break up the situation. we have another dog who, in the heat of the moment, went for the closest dog to her; who was in no way involved in the incident. this particular dog is typically very sweet, but in times of intense playing or if a fight does break out, she tends to find her way into it, and is difficult to stop. I'm wondering why she might be doing this, and is there a way to stop it from happening in the future. it happens very quickly and with no "tell."rnrnThank you

Jessie is a rescue. He will not play with squeeky toys or balls or enjoy dog treats or chew on dog bones. What can I do? He mostly sits in my lap or lays against me. He will jump up if he hears something. I am worried.

How do I get my dog to pee and poop in one area and how do I get him to stop walking while pooping? He does this all the time and most of the time there is nothing to distract him!
