This question is about: Toileting

I can't figure out how to get max to stop hiking his leg in our apartment. We got him about a few months ago and when we leave him during the day in a small area with his bed and food/water he's fine, but sometimes if we set the gate wrong he escapes and when he is left with the whole apartment to himself he will pee on a leg or trash can. We take him out on a routine schedule and we had been giving him treats when we get back up to the apartment, but he still seems to do it. Is there something else we need to be doing? Thanks!

When my dog and I are playing he tends to snap at me hand and face, what does this mean and how can I stop it?

This question is about: Barking at people, dogs, animals, birds or where the dog barks for attention or at the slightest noise

My dog barks at every dog he meets. He does not attack just sits there and barks. He is fixed but he is always accompanied by my femal terrier mix who is not fixed. Once we can across a few dogs and he was silent. I think he sensed he was outnumbered or they were alpha dogs. But he barks at them and they cower away. He seems to stop after a while but we don't stick around that long or it stresses the other dog owners out and we separate out dogs. I like to have them off leashes and be able to socialize with other dogs but his barking makes it difficult. I feel like he's trying to establish dominance. Why does he behave his way? And how can I prevent and change it? Thank you

I should think there would be a great advantage in housetraining a puppy to both outoors and wee wee pad. I understand it would take longer, but I should think a dog would understand that either is OK. My frineds say not to use the wee wee pads at all.
