It's actually all three of my dogs. The oldest is 8 and he usually holds his pee till he can't hold it anymore then floods the kitchen when everyone is in bed. The youngest is Coolio, he was never in his 1 and a half years potty trained. He pees and poops in the kitchen after we leave and when we sleep. We just bought a brand new, never lived in house. We installed a dog door on the kitchen door that leads to a fenced in yard but they still pee and poop in the kitchen right by the door. I have seen them go outside. I know they know how to use the dog door. They go right by their food. I am so overwhelmed, my dad gets angry and yells and complains but I'm the one who, every morning, has to get the mop out and clean it up. We are ready to get rid of dogs we have had for years. I've had the oldest for 6 years. I have tried the method of sticking their noses in it and spanking with a rolled up news paper. My grandma did that with her shizoo and he's 12 years old and very well behaved. But these dogs still pee an poop. I just don't know what to do. I don't want to get rid of them but I won't live like this. I don't want my house to reek of dog crap.

I live in an apartment and my dog keeps waking me up because he is barking at every opening of a door or neighbor that walks by at night. My neighbors can't really hear him. Or so they say. But I need sleep. How can I train this out of him. We do go for a nice long walk before bed and this usually starts in the middle of the night. We have tried crating him, he has bones, he has toys....

I have two dogs that are litter mates and they're brother and sister. Female is spayed and male is scheduled to be neutered. They are wonderful dogs but when it comes to other people and other dogs they get so excited and protective. They never stop barking and jumping up at people. We're worried that they may get too aggressive with people and other dogs and we don't know how to go about introducing them and finding the right situation to do so. They also are not sure about children and will nip and whine and bark at them as it seems they're just really confused by kids.

Recently my dog has been destroying things when I'm not home. Before she never did that but the last month or so she's been getting into things and destroying anything she can get ahold of. We brought home a newborn baby home within the same month. I was curious if Novas behavior is because of the baby? How can I get her back to the "old" Nova?
