We adopted Muppet when she was about 6 months old. She is friendly with 4 dogs in our neighborhood, and passed the beginner class at Petsmart. Last night we started intermediate class and she was very aggressive towards all three of the other dogs in the class. All three are the size of labs, and Muppet is 13 lbs. Today on our walk she was extremely aggressive, snarling and lunging at a medium-sized dog walking past us on a leash. We need to correct this soon!

I have had Amaliah since the second her mom had her. We have spent every moment together and as she got older she gave me a second chance at life, where before I refused to go out, was terrified of the outside world. My focusing on her need to exercise and mingle made that fear get pushed back to where I was living again. I have since registered her as an emotional support dog, I have trained her since she was weened from her mom to be out in crowds which she does very well in but...She has a food and toy aggression (towards other animals ONLY) that has gotten us kicked out of two places. She nearly killed two cats and tears into any dog that's close to her food or toys. (Amaliah was the 7th born out of nine pups. Her mother was food aggressive also to where we had to separate her and the puppies due to her attacking them over food. Amaliah was the tiniest of the nine and often got attacked over food, toys and attention) Amaliah is also very stressed around new people(namely men) and constantly "ooofs"(not a full on bark until they don't back off) at them. Is there any training out there that can help my dog and myself so we are BOTH relaxed and confident out in public and around other animals? Anything I can do outside of a training class until I can find one? I need help.

My puppy Farley has been getting crate trained since I got him at 8 weeks of age, to this point he has never stopped peeing in his cage. However that's not my major concern I know he can only hold his bladder for so long. The real issue is that once he is in the cage he will pee then roll in his own pee. He has done this on the hard wood floor when he is not in the cage also. I do not know if he does this because he is to hot and is trying to cool off or if he is doing it in a kind of rebellion. Any advice or information from experience would be greatly appreciated.

How do best help our pup not bark at everyone constantly and behave while being groomed. She has been going to the groomer every month for the past year and our groomer said she will no longer cut her because she won’t sit still and she bites and scratches . She seems to be getting worse as she is aging.

Hi, so we just got Penny yesterday, I know there needs to be an adjustment period but I still thought I would ask a few questions. First off I am 16 and have wanted a dog for 10+ years, I finally got Penny. We drove 2 hours each way to get her. So first off I love her to death but I am not in the house 24/7 she is very attached to me I left the house for 45 minutes last night and apparently she cried the whole time and she had just gone potty outside. Any advice on how to help her bond with others so she isn't constantly worrying about where I am? Also she is having LOTS of trouble with bed time. We gave her a small nightlight lots of love and a treat but when we left her while she was crated she began crying we tried to ignore her figuring she would settle on her own. She just kept getting louder I eventually just slept next to her, she was still pretty unsettled. I took her out early this morning and she was frantic to go out so maybe she had to go all night but we took her out like an hour or two before bed. I will take away her water before bed to see if it improves but I would really like to see her sleep through the night without barking/whining. I thought about moving her crate to my room so she is less agitated but she is supposed to be a family dog not just mine so my siblings wouldn't like that. UGH and just as I was writing this she went to the door looked clear across the street and went grr at a lady not even in our yard. She doesn't have aggression problems she is just a little unsettled around new people, any advice for that too. I am stumped don't know what to do, please help.
