My three year old was sitting at his table and jaws walked up to him, sat down, and then randomly bit my three year old. This is not the first time that's happened either.

I have a 10 month old puppy. I’ve started taking him to the dog park and we have gone about 4 times and he does really well with other dogs and is extremely friendly. When I went on a walk with him today, there was a puppy outside in the yard of a house and my dog sniffed him and then bit him. This is his first encounter with a dog outside the dog park. I’m wondering why he could’ve bit him if he always does well with other dogs at the dog park.

My dog Cooper is 6 months old. He's is about 25-30 pounds (medium sized). We got him from a shelter whom rescued him from flooding in Puerto Rico. He was a street dog. We got him at about 4 1/2 - 5 months old. He has a very good temperament. Never growled or barked at myself or another human. He's does very well with other dogs. We started out keeping him in a 42 inch crate in my room. I leave for work from about 6:15 a.m. And get home at around 3:30 p.m. M-F. As soon as I wake up I let him outside. I then let him eat while I shower/get ready in the morning. Recently I have been keeping him in the crate but in the kitchen when I am gone. He never messed in his cage until we moved it in the kitchen. Now he has been going in it every day while I am gone during the day. Only #2. He does not pee in it. I've tried to cover the cage with sheets and ordered a cage cover but he tears it up every time.
