My mom just adopted a dog for my sister who has pretty severe autism. The dog is a nightmare for me. He pees in the house at least once a day and has a bad barking issue. He is shaky and scared around anyone that isn't my sister or mom. And never stops barking if I sneeze, go to the bathroom, shut a door, walk downstairs, make food, get home late, and if I do pretty much anything at all in my house the dog is barking out of control for at least 3 minutes straight, sometimes running up to me acting like he wants to bite me. I've tried being nice, helping train, but nothing works. My sister isn't able to train him because she lacks the ability to do so. I am so against shock collars, but I just don't know what to do. I don't even want to go home anymore and be comfortable in my home!

I have both a female and male boston terrier and they are both 7 months old. We have mastered sit, stay, and are very close to mastering the come command. However I cannot get them to lay down! I do train them separately first when learning new tings and then also do some together near the end. I've tried having them sit and moving the treat towards the ground but instead of laying down they just back up to reach it. I've also tried having them on a leash and having them go underneath my legs to reach the treat so they have to be on the ground to reach the treat but we've hit a stall. Help!

Carl came to us last week. He is a rescue dog and to make it more complicated, he is a puppy mill dog. We are looking for ways to help him trust us and lose his other fears that come from lack of human interaction. Do you have experience in this area? What will it cost to get him on the right path?

We’ve had our dog for almost two months and are making NO steps towards being potty trained. When I catch her peeing inside, I try to say no or clap but she only gets scared and pees more and drags in it. I’ve been trying crate training but if you leave her in more than an hour she’s pees or poops and rolls or lays it in. I don’t know what else to try, nothing seems to be working. She’s very skiddish and submissive pees, as well.

Both of these dogs are neutered. Mike the pit is offspring from my female pit Gracie. So I've had him since he was born. Levi the lab I've had since he was 6 weeks old. So when Mike was a tad younger there was no issues. About 6-7 months old Mike would start growling and then Gracie would not like that and go after him. When that happened Levi would jump in and go after Mike. For a little while the fights got bad. But, the past few months it stopped. Now within the past week it has started back up again. Today I noticed that Mike's hair is standing up when Levi goes near him and Gracie has been staying away from him too. It also seems Mike won't come by me when I pet Levi. I don't know what to do. I have a baby on the way in 2 months and I need this to stop and I have no trainers in my area. HELP!!!
