Bark Busters Home Dog Training Beaverton OR, Portland, Tigard, Tualatin
Best Dog Training Portland, Beaverton, Tigard OR, and more!
We have been helping local clients and their dogs for more than 10 years!
We first learned of Bark Busters Home Dog Training during the summer of 2003. A friend had just opened a Bark Busters office in Tampa and raved about the humane, natural dog training methods and their effectiveness. We were impressed with Bark Busters' mission to save dogs from being mistreated and euthanized. So we joined the Bark Busters global network of licensed dog behavioral therapists and dog trainers, went through an extensive training program and have now worked with hundreds of dogs and dog owners in the Portland area.
Bark Busters Portland shows you how to communicate with your dog in a language he understands so you can give him the education he's missing and provide the dog obedience tips he's craving. We will teach you how to deal with your dog's behavior in a humane, non-physical manner, how to be your pack's leader, and give you the knowledge and tools to have well-behaved canine companions. The system is simple, fun and it WORKS! We can provide not only mature dog training. but puppy training as well. Need boxer training, labrador training or rescue dog training? No sweat. At Bark Busters Portland, we handle any breed, any issue.
Many times in just one dog training session, you will see results in your dog's behavior. We can: stop dog barking, stop dog jumping, stop dog aggression, stop dog separation anxiety, stop dog potty training issues, stop dog leash pulling and much more.
Please feel free to give Bark Busters Portland South a call, and we will be happy to answer any questions regarding your dog's behavior training. We'll come to your home at your convenience, and will show you how to make your friendship with your dog everything you want it to be!

how we can help you and your dog
The Bark Busters Home Dog Training Methods helps solve dog behavior issues such as aggression towards people or other animals
- Cure embarrassing habits like barking, jumping up on people, scratching & whining at doors or inappropriate toileting.
- Create an obedient dog or puppy that will happily walk on the lead without tugging, sit or stay on command, and come immediately when called.
- Set off-limit areas for your dog.
- Reduce the stress of separation anxiety without the need for sedatives or drugs.
We teach you to communicate with your pet.
Blah, blah, blah, bad dog! blah blah. Do you think your dog isn't listening to you? Maybe you're simply not speaking his language. You may have heard of dog whisperer or dog listener techniques. The Bark Busters dog training method is based on the way dogs communicate with each other and how they learn from older, more important dogs in the pack. This is what makes our dog training unique and effective.
Why do we train in your home?
Your dog lives with a family, in a home. This is where he misbehaves most often so this is where training is most effective. Dogs learn by association. Bark Busters teaches your dog to listen in the home environment. If he does not listen at home, he will not listen outside your territory.
Training in your home is a one-on-one system without the distraction of other dogs or the stress of being sent away for training.
Of course, where you are experiencing problems outside the home such as pulling on the lead or dog aggression, we will set up controlled training situations in the park or wherever is most practical.
