Virtual Training

My trainer is Karen Deepe and we have been doing our sessions over live video. She has been completely amazing helping me fix my dog issues such as lease pulling, jumping, personal space, and door/people greeting. I have had these issues for a while and with what I have been learning and implementing from this program I have already seen a huge improvement. Do not feel deterred about it being over a video call, it is just as affective as in person training because at the end of the day it’s up to you and your dog(s) to continue the training to get the results you want. I have found a glimmer of success and only time will tell but I am very satisfied and I hope whoever else decides to go through this program is as well.

Our virtual training was roughly 1 week ago and we are thrilled with the improvement in our dogs behavior! We have seen better behavior in all aspects covered. We were amazed at the response to the doorbell ring training during the virtual. It worked!!! Great success in rug digging, pulling on walks and barking in yard.

Simply put, Michael’s training is awesome. I am absolutely amazed by the progress we saw during our first virtual session and after just one week of practice. Our 1-year old golden, Yeti, definitely has a mind of his own and Michael really went in depth explaining the psychology and underlying causes of the behavior and the psychology of creating new behaviors. This was so interesting and very helpful. And his techniques worked so well and so fast! We are well on our way to a perfectly well-behaved dog. And I’m loving working with Yeti at home and growing our bond <3 Thank you!!!

Blue is a rescue I got just over two weeks ago who had been living in a single bedroom for 2 years and had never been outside before. I knew he was gonna need a lot of work. I wasn't sure how much progress to expect through a virtual lesson, but Jean somehow helped us progress SO MUCH in just one lesson! It was very clear that she knew what she was talking about and answered all my questions. She helped me develop a strong base to give Blue the training he needs and in a very nice and professional manner!

The virtual experience we had today was great! Karen was very engaging for all of the family members and dogs. We definitely saw a difference in behavior by the end of the session!

I have been working with Karen virtually to help train my puppy and I have been so thrilled with the results. I was a little apprehensive to do virtual sessions, but it ended up being the perfect solution for us. I know that my dog is responding to me instead of Karen and being the one to do the exercises during sessions has allowed me to be a more confident leader with my dog. We saw an almost immediate improvement in our puppy after our first virtual session with Karen. We have been working on jumping on furniture, counter surfing, separation anxiety, etc and have seen huge improvements and success. The leash training exercises have even allowed me to take more peaceful walks with my dog, which is something both me and my dog appreciate. With Karen's guidance and consistency, we cannot believe our puppy is the same dog we took home a few months ago! Thank you, Karen!

Michelle with Bark Busters did more for me and my dog Kona through Zoom virtual video then any of the three other trainers I have been to!

And those three prior trainers were all in person !!! In only two virtual sessions with Michelle . Kona dramatically changed for the better! :-) Michelle understands how dogs think and live in a pack and s

Who would have thought through virtual Zoom I would have gotten these results! But I did! We are virtual clients. It was amazing how fast it worked. We feel such relief having a way to help dogs fit better into your lives. It was so easy and simple to get the dogs to respond.

We have had an excellent experience using BarkBusters with Karen. We were hesitant about a virtual experience, but desperate because my dog was becoming increasingly anxious and aggressive and we didn’t know what else to do. After just a week of using Karen’s techniques and following her advice, we have already seen a huge improvement in both of our dogs. The approach is intuitive, simple, and effective. Tips/ tricks were simple yet effective. Could see significant improvement within seconds (Over a couple attempts)! Extremely happy with how he explained why he has certain behaviors and how to correct it!

Josh explained and that helped us with the exercises given to train Winston to listen. Setting boundaries is important and something we did not do when he was a puppy. We understand that we will need to be proactive when training and working with Winston on his exercises! The goal is to have him not door dash! Josh was great and very knowledgeable.

Barb showed up ready to go and I'll add gave us very good advice and we started training. Her suggestions worked immediately. Our dog was apprehensive about meeting someone new, but Barb quickly gave some very good advice and Lux responded, in my view right away. Lux and us couldn't be more happy or satisfied with just the first day. Our little girl is very smart and Barb explained that to us and Lux picked up right where we left off the next day. She already has shown tremendous appetite for learning! Barb's leadership and advice is fantastic and we are very pleased already. We are looking forward to further training visits and giving our Girl the guidance for her to be happy and have the life she deserves! Thank you so much Barb!

We just completed our first meeting/training session with Theresa and couldn't be happier with the experience. She is extremely knowledgable and we appreciated her calm and gentle techniques with a small dog. We can't believe how quickly Charlie is already responding to the these new techniques and it's only the first day. We are excited to start this new journey and highly recommend Theresa Nichols to anyone struggling with a challenging pup!

Theresa is wonderful! We had been having a few behavioral problems with our puppy. He was getting into everything and digging. Theresa came in, assessed us, our pup, and knew exactly what to do. She explained why he was having these behaviors and showed us how to correct them without spanking, collars, or treat influence. Within two weeks, he became a brand new dog. I highly recommend Theresa. She is lovely and takes the time to help you understand why your pup is behaving a certain way and what to do to fix it! If you need any training, pick Theresa, she’s the best!

Let me start by saying I was a total skeptic. We have two German Shepherd pups from the same litter with a bond so strong, they had no respect for us. But then we found Theresa from Bark Busters and she is a miracle worker. Theresa came to our house and immediately put us at ease. Her passion for dogs is undeniable, and she took the time to understand our needs. We honestly didn't think these dogs were trainable but after one session we saw improvement. We have learned that we don't need to get angry at our puppies, but rather use positive reinforcement. We are on day two of training and I cannot believe the improvement that we are seeing already. We are finally enjoying these puppies and the best part is that Theresa will be back in a couple of weeks to teach us more! I definitely recommend Theresa to anyone that needs help with dog training!

We’ve only had one session so far, however our 4 month old pup has already shown DRASTIC improvement on her separation anxiety! Ben gave us a detailed homework plan to follow (which takes maybe 20 minutes) and it has been nothing but fun and productive!

Working with Theresa on our initial session was the best experience! We learned so much information on how to communicate and bring a stronger relationship to our dogs. We have been dealing with our 2 male dogs fighting with each other. After this initial session, we have gained better insight into our dogs’ behaviors and what we need to do to make our home environment better. Theresa was awesome! I highly recommend her!!! She is full of knowledge and you are able to start seeing changes by the end of the initial meeting.

Connie did a fantastic job with my very hyper poodle mix puppy! So nice to know that she will help me in the future should an issue pop up.

Coming into this our 4.5 month old puppy was running our house. With in 30 minutes she realized she is no longer the boss. I have hopes she will be the well behaved dog I want.

We got two male cocker spaniels just before Halloween of 2023. They are now 8 months old and to say the least over time they were barking and howling at any and every sound they heard both inside and outside of the house, day and night. We honestly were beginning to question if we were going to be able to keep them. The barking was starting to effect both of us-our work, sleep, and were even not getting along with each other or the puppies due to the stress. To say were at the end of our rope was exactly where we were. We both felt that we were not speaking the language of these two adorable, loving and highly intelligent puppies and they deserved more. After a lot of research I found Bark Busters In-Home Dog Training and Ben Miller. The training being done at home, without the use of treats, clickers, prong collars, etc., was a huge selling point. Our first session with Ben was two days ago and lasted for 3 hours. From the moment he arrived everything changed and for the first time in months I could feel my anxiety and stress levels dropping. The very easy techniques he taught us work and we can see that the puppies anxiety levels have gone down as well. They are not reacting to every sound they hear and if they do we can address it and it stops almost instantly. If you are at your wits end because your furry friend will not stop barking, or has other behavioral issues, etc., you owe it to yourself, spouse, children, and/or neighbors to contact Ben @ Bark Busters and reclaim the peace in your home. If the cost is holding you back, stop and do the math for what you would pay on an hourly basis for this type of support. Hands down this program is well worth the cost. In our case we cannot put a dollar amount on the first session and how it has brought a sense of peace back to our home.

Last Thursday Damon came to visit me and my 7-month-old furball, Kaya, for our first training session. I was armed with skepticism and a plethora of chew toys. Fast forward just a week later, and I'm not only a believer, but I'm also considering nominating Damon for some kind of dog whisperer award.

Damon didn't just teach me how to teach Kaya not to chew on me like I'm made of bacon; he equipped me with the tools and know-how to communicate with her effectively. From understanding her body language to setting boundaries, Damon's insights have turned me into the alpha of our little pack (or at least, that's what I like to tell myself as Kaya zooms around the house).
