I can’t say thank you enough. Peter was incredible and made life so much easier for us to work with our 10 month old Deaf Dalmatian puppy. I look forward to the next session. I’ve already seen a huge improvement in our pup. He’s also done wonders helping me to leash train my 120lb Huskador as well. I can actually safely walk him now!
Pete was able to get our scared shelter dog to interact peacefully with another dog for the first time, within the first couple hours of working with her. He made it very easy for us to learn how to communicate in a way our dog understands, and she's making huge strides every day. I didn't know she could be so good! Very happy with this experience and i would recommend Pete to anyone!

Peter Marciano is an exceptional dog trainer.
I've been recommending Pete Marciano and his Bark Busters for some time now, based on what friends have told me about his services and the success they've had with their pets, so when we got a puppy who had been tearing the house apart, I knew just who to call.
Pete was prompt for our appointment and right when he walked in the door the instruction began, when a jumping dog was corrected with seemingly minimal effort. This was just the beginning of the many things Milo would learn through-out the evening.
The entire time with Pete was an eye opening experience in how dogs and puppies think and act, and how easy it is to train them with a common sense approach that is still paying dividends daily.
I must say the best part of the night was witnessing how passionate Pete is in his work, you can hear it in his voice and Milo was actually having fun doing tasks such as sitting, staying, and coming when called.
I will continue to recommend Bark Busters and Pete Marciano because the program is not only common sense based and easy to practice, but the lessons are also tailored to suit the pets needs.
Keep up the good work Pete!
Pete is an outstanding trainer-- Clear and easy to understand techniques. It is so helpful to watch and learn from him. Best ever--worth every penny (dollar!)
Peter was incredibly informative, so kind and a true professional. He left our family with valuable insight and we feel we have the right tools to help our dog become more obedient and receptive.
Simply amazing! Reviews said they saw results and a change of behavior immediately. I was skeptical of that but no kidding nearly instant change to our dogs behavior...well worth the price no question. Not enough words to strongly recommend.
After two weeks with our new puppy Chase, my husband and I were so discouraged because the cute little puppy that we got from the rescue turned out to be a terror! He received an F on the behavior quiz. He ripped up our furniture, left bite marks on the hands arms and feet of anyone who got near him, barked non stop while I was on conference calls and until wee hours in the morning. We couldn't walk him because he would constantly jump up and grab the leash. He would dart out the house when we opened the door so we had to keep him on a leash for most of the day. It got so bad that we thought we were going to have to give him back to the rescue. However, it was Peter to the rescue! After one visit...yes I said one visit!! our puppy Chase is a different puppy. He is truly a joy to be around. It's as if Peter came in and used the Jedi mind trick with our puppy. He now sits when we tell him. He goes directly to his bed or his crate when it is night time or nap time and sleeps through the night. He actually sits at my feet while I am working and allows me to work without the constant barking. He can now roam the house without being on a leash or crated. I could go on for hours! He still has some things he is working on ...but he is truly a different puppy. If you are struggling with your puppy and thinking about throwing in the towel...give Peter a try...I promise you won't be disappointed. As Peter left our home, our puppy Chase watched as he drove off and it was like he was saying good-bye to an old friend. Peter is a friend for life to us and our Puppy. Peter, we can't thank you enough! We truly look forward to our next session. Hopefully we have something to work on because Chase is so perfect now. :-)
Our pooches were adopted from a shelter in the South and were young, energetic, and strong. We needed trading so commands would be consistent and understood. Peter was a marvel at helping us control the dogs. One pup pulled a lot and he had a head collar that allowed me to walk her. He outlined clear commands and did a follow up. When I needed a new collar he came late at night after his training session. What a trooper! It was amazing what he did and we practice daily, we were the problem. We couldn’t have managed the pups without his help!
Pete got back to me so quickly and seemed genuinely wanting to help us! We had just brought home a second dog into our family and were a little nervous with the introduction and how it was going to go. Pete came over within 2 days and we are so grateful! My fiancé had never had a dog before mine, so he never had anyone to show him how to train a dog. Pete reassured him and taught us how to handle the two together and they are doing great! He even gave us materials to keep at home and made sure that if we had any issues he would be available for follow ups if needed!
Pete was very professional, experienced and helpful . I’m a single, widowed full-time working mom and couldn’t provide my labradoodle puppy with the energy and time he needed. He helped me find a home for my labradoodle at no cost and was very honest, knowledgeable and caring. I highly recommended him.
Pete's training continues to show positive results with our Cassie and Tucker. They have become the loyal and obedient dogs we wanted. We couldn't be happier with his service! Thanks Pete!
Pete is fabulous at what he does...dives head on into the psychology of your dog and helps you understand why it behaves like it does and what you can do to help!
I loved the service! Pete has the patience of a saint. He helped me teach my pup and taught me the how and why to what he was doing. Awesome experience!!!
€œPeter is wonderful with dogs. He really understands them and helped us as a family learn to be patient and consistent with the training. The whole training process was a wonderful experience.
Pete with Bark Busters is our "Dog Whisperer". His dog sense & ability to understand and train all dogs is incredible. He is knowledgeable of many methods & tools to use for various dog personalities and temperaments. He schedules weekly group dog walks that are extremely helpful! Pete has assisted me with my energetic/aggressive boxer. Pete also has helped my daughter and son with their lab mix that likes to bark. I highly recommend Pete every chance I get! He is the Best!
I met Pete from Bark Busters 5 years ago. I was selling my house and moving into an apartment with 50 units in the building. My dog Leia, whom I had recently gotten from my cousin, was 10 years old and never trained. She was the alpha and did what she wanted when she wanted. She barked constantly and attacked other dogs. Pete came to my house and worked with Leia. My family marveled at the change in her. When an issue arose, Pete visited us again and solved the problem. You need to follow through with Pete’s suggestions and be consistent. Incidentally, the people in my building love Leia and look forward to seeing her.
Leia has a nervous stomach, and when she’s upset or worried, she vomits. When I go on vacation I leave her with Pete and Wendi because I know she will get the loving care she needs. I wouldn’t be able to go away if I had to board her anywhere else. Leia is family, and I need to know that she is well cared for and safe.
Hey Pete. Thanks for the advice for Missy. Her aggressive issues are almost completely gone (only around other dogs now), but its a relief. She doesn't have issues with people anymore, thanks!
Pete is truly this areas very own DOG WHISPERER. I signed up for " lifetime" training over six years ago ( my husband thought I was CRAZY and had wasted money) HOWEVER I still call Pete and he is as happy to help as he was back then. EXCELLENT INVESTMENT! He is extremely professional and truly loves dogs. He speaks DOG and they somehow understand him!!!!
My chihuahua, Paco, has had an underlying issue of anxiety ever since we rescued him. It has caused him to bite randomly, whine unstoppably, run through an open door towards busy streets, sit restlessly in cars, and never mind his manners. Each visit started with Paco running under Pete's legs and out the door...something that never happens when there is a person to greet/bite first. Paco gave Pete a run for his money when we realized how determined he was to make us have to think outside of the box. Needless to say, however, Pete matched Paco's spunk and made changes in our lives that we were beginning to believe were set in stone. Simply through practice of one technique we redirected Paco's anxiety (which Pete amazingly pinpointed as the underlying issue). Through recall practice in and out of the house Paco has transformed into a patient, calm, and respectful bundle of joy. I always knew he had it in him because of how amazing he is with other animals. Whether it be from puppies to unsure and growling pit bulls, Paco always had a way to calm them down and make friends. Even with other household pets including rabbits, birds, snakes and chinchillas Paco always had a loving attitude...until the rats came along. Suddenly all he wanted was to get inside the cage and eat the little things. Thankfully, through our recall practice his attention is easily redirected now, but Pete and I are still at a loss as to why the rats were ever such an issue considering Paco's usual calm attitude with small critters.
Anyway, I know Paco truly threw Pete a curveball from his usual practices and I couldn't thank him and Bark Busters enough for helping us help Paco!
Pete was influential and willing to help with our boxer puppy Holley. After talking to Pete, we came up with a solution to start getting our dog under control. This was a great start for us until we get our schedules in sync. I would highly recommend him to anyone because of his vast canine knowledge.
Hi Pete
Thank you for giving us a new and better dog, one we can now enjoy. (Who is this dog?) When asked on Thanksgiving what we were thankful for, one of my husband's was "thank you for Pete Marciano". That tells it all.

Pete is a great trainer. He takes time to make sure you understand the techniques. He worked around my schedule. Also thank you Pete and Wendi for you love and care to Coco, as well as Gator, now, when you have them at you home, sitting for them. They are well cared for and Coco looks forward to seeing and "playing" at your place.
"I went to Peddlers Village today, but I think your regular weekly walk will be more fun! Everybody I met said I was very cute and well behaved." Thanks to Pete!
Hi Pete-The tips you gave us have worked wonderfully! Jackson is much better with walks and pulling out the door. Thanks for everything!
Dear Pete: Well its almost the end of the summer and Snoop has been with you several times for babysitting. Snoop comes home each time more behaved and trained well. You have really done a wonderful job with Snoop, and I love how when he sees you he's so happy to go with you!! It's great to know that we can get away and have full trust with where our baby goes. Thanks so much, Pete, for all you have done and look forward to the next time.
