In home training. We work with you to develop a custom-tailored training program that suits you and your dog’s relationship, your lifestyle, your schedule and your goals! We teach you how to correct misbehavior as it is happening. You get one-on-one attention geared toward the real life issues that concern you the most. Dog-friendly methods. Bark Busters proven system teaches you to think and speak canine. We use positive, non-physical (no choke, pinch, prong or shock collars), natural techniques, based on body language and vocal communication to get your dog to focus on you and respect you. The methods are simple and work for all breeds and all kinds of behavioral issues. Connie will assist you in finding solutions to embarrassing and potentially dangerous problems such as jumping on people, nuisance barking, aggressive behaviors toward other dogs or people, pulling on the leash, separation anxiety, and destructive behaviors such as chewing and digging.

Any dog, any age, any issue. We work with all breeds and all ages to fix all types of problem issues. Connie can get your brand new puppy off to the right start or work with your grown dog to solve any behavioral problem. Young puppies are eager and ready to learn and, yes, old dogs can learn new tricks.

Puppy training. You can get your puppy started off on the “right paw” by eliminating behavioral issues before they even start. A puppy’s brain is like a big sponge, and by coming to your home, the Bark Busters trainer can begin working with your puppy at a very early age, without the fear of exposing him to unknowns prior to completion of his vaccinations.

Veterinarian recommended. We work hard with our local veterinarians because we believe that you will realize the greatest benefits through a cooperative program that looks after both your pet’s medical and behavioral issues. Connie is recommended by many of her area veterinary offices.

Our 3 yo adopted from the shelter husky has significant separation anxiety and issues with jumping on people. After one session with Connie we now have a calm husky in his crate while we leave and steps and progress with his jumping! Absolutely amazing!!! She was thorough and cared about our concerns. I can’t speak more highly of her or her techniques! 10/10 and if I could give higher stars I would!!!
Connie is very helpful in working with all aspects of dog behavior. She's always prompt and spends as long as we need working with us and our dog. I can't recommend her highly enough.
Connie is the best! I have had other trainers with other dogs and nothing compares to Connie. She came in and handled all my problems at home my puppy and older dog. Before she came my older dog didn't do well with the puppy so I was having to let one of them out at a time. They both learned to be around each other with seemingly no jealousy. She also helped my puppy learn to ring a bell when she wanted to go outside. I looked forward to every session because I knew with Connie's help we would solve another problem in our home. I would recommend Connie to anyone, she is awesome.
We did the 3 session puppy management course with Connie Archer. This is the first time we've had a young puppy in the house. She started us on basic obedience with our young pointer, and also tips on managing him along with the two older rescues we have. It was especially helpful to have someone willing to come to the house and tailor the training strategies to our situation. I highly recommend Connie!
I can not express how quickly Luna has responded to one training session. Connie is a miracle worker! Not only has she stopped barking when someone is at the door. She is better at following other commands and has calmed down considerably. Thank you Connie!
Connie was excellent with our dog. What she taught us really has worked well. We will definintely use her again if we have any more issue with our animals. Thank You so much.
Started working with Connie 10 years ago when dogs were puppies - learned a lot . Had her back today to help with sibling rivalry. She had great ideas that we hadn't thought of ,and reassured us the problem was not as bad as we thought. By observing them in a professional manner , she was able to give us a different perspective . She's great to work with.
Connie was a great help training me to train Tillie, my eight month old puppy, who was chewing on everything, jumping on visitors, pulling on the leash, and acting aggressively toward other dogs on walks (out of fear I learned). Connie is great to work with and provided me with the tools I needed; solutions that worked. Thanks to Connie, I am a proud puppy mama that can have happy visitors and take walks with Tillie by my side on a relaxed leash. I'm even now working toward CGC certification. I definitely recommend Connie and Tillie does too!
Connie is terrific. I got Dakota when she was 7 weeks old, the older she got, the worse some of her behaviors were. I grew up with Weimaraners, have had Weims for the majority of my adult life and nothing I was doing was changing her obnoxious behavior. I called Bark Busters, as they were recommended by my vet. Connie immediately called me back and we started the next week. I explained the issues I was having with Dakota and within a short time Connie was making great improvements on showing me the corrections that worked with Dakota and made our life together much more enjoyable. Thank you Connie! You left me astonished on how easy it could be.
This is a WONDERFUL program and Connie is a SPECTACULAR trainer...both for me and Roxi! We are learning together! Within one week, she is a different dog and a lot more fun to be around!
Thank you so much Bark Busters and CONNIE!
Connie came to our house to work with our 2 puppies (Wolfric, a 9 month old Chow/Shepherd mix and Godric, a 7 month old extra large breed mutt). We needed help with a few specific issues, namely jumping on people when they entered the house, going towards the front door when it was opened, and not going upstairs. In just one 1.5 hour session, Connie helped us tremendously! We got some great advice, the puppies responded to her and continue to respond to us, and it was money very well spent. I would highly recommend.
We were very pleased with the training. Connie was great!! Very nice person and really knows the dogs. Dillon was a new boy within hours of our first training. We would definitely recommend Connie to our friends.
Connie was excellent. We knew when she walked in the front door that we were going to have a good experience. She definitely knows "her stuff"! She has an easy going, yet firm way with the dogs. They all connected to her within a few minutes. We have already noticed much progress in the 2 sessions.
I have worked with Connie with both of my older dogs. We recently got a border collie pup and got Connie to help us train her. Connie is amazing! Remy is only 4 1/2 months old and the perfect puppy now for the most part. LOL! Connie always knows what to do. If one thing does not work, she has another idea. Totally recommend her for your training needs.
AMAZING!!! The techniques that were taught were great. We now actually enjoy walking the dogs, opening the front door for guests, and eating dinner! I can't believe we can now eat dinner without anyone begging for food. The whole household is much more calm and enjoyable.

The old saying isn't true, because you can teach an old dog new tricks! :)
We have a half Australian shepherd half Lab 11 month old and he was wild. Jumping all over everyone, stealing things and taking them to the back yard, going for our food at diner time and digging. We could not leave him unguarded.

Connie came last Friday and taught us a few things and has made all the difference in the world. With one command, Samson is now listening and doing so much better. Connie also recommended a few toys that we will have tomorrow to let him exert some energy. I am now teaching him to walk by me instead of in front of me and he is improving.

Thank you Connie.
Connie is dedicated, knowledgeable and is patient beyond words. She gives you and your pet her full attention and doesn't worry about watching the clock. Her approach is kind, firm and direct and my dog seemed to like her visits. I would highly recommend Connie to anyone needing or wanting to improve their dog's behavior.
We've had a variety of breeds and aged dogs for 30 yrs. Never had issues like we had with our 2 year old German Shepherd. Connie helped us "speak dog" and better understand dog body language. Her professionalism, patient energy, and ability to teach us using training aids, hand signals, and verbal commands was extremely effective. Within 3 sessions, she addressed and corrected Jethro's pulling on the leash, bullying ahead through doors/gates, barking aggressively at strangers and house guests, coming when called and interacting gently and appropriately with our 2 Pomeranians. We highly recommend Connie Archer as someone who can quickly get to the root of your dog's issues and you can trust to effectively address them at a good pace. She also uses your feedback to modify things that aren't working!
We have had a variety of aged dogs over 30 yrs but continued to have trouble with our 2 y/o G.Shepherd. Connie was amazing training Jethro and us! She optimized her time here and made every minute of her 3 visits count. She addressed his bullying ahead through doorways/gates, walking on a leash, coming when called, interacting more appropriately with our 2 Pomeranians and desensitizing him to new people. She equipped us with verbal commands, hand signals, and loads on information on how to "speak dog". Connie truly listens, is very patient, encouraging, is up front with concerns and honest with feedback. I highly recommend using Connie Archer to help you address and correct the issues with your dog(s).
We thought our 3 year old mini schnauzer would require weeks or months of training to stop his barking. Connie Archer solved our problems on her first visit. Needless to say, we were amazed at how quickly and thoroughly Bark Busters worked. The best part is our dog is now so relaxed we're convinced it will add to his longevity.
I am completely amazed! One session and Jack's jumping and barking are under control! We went from having a dog that barked at everything and everyone, to having a dog that is relaxed and sweet to visitors. The training is easy for me to understand and unlike anything I have encountered in the past. I am so excited about what we can accomplish now!
Max is a beautiful golden/lab mix puppy(10 months). We had completed one set of training in a group setting of about 10 dogs. That was helpful to get started and to socialize him with the other dogs in the class.
But after a few months, I decided we needed some "one on one" so I called Barkbusters. I got a call the same day after submitting an online profile of our dog
and what issues I wanted to address. Connie did another interview on the phone.
We contracted for 3 appointments, each lasting over an hour. Connie is just fabulous and was able to give me such helpful "tools" to work with Max. Just the
language to use alone for correction made a huge difference. Max is a great dog and wants to do well. He had issues running to the door and jumping on everyone. He greets other dogs the same way and their owners, so we worked on that. Another challenge is at night when I'm exhausted and Max wants to play ball...Connie gave me very helpful suggestions to end that "pestering". Connie uses a calm and even quiet voice when working with the dog, but it didn't take long for Max to get the message. Of course, she is training me so that I can continue using all of this with Max.
I was very pleased with the Barkbusters program and Connie Archer . I would definitely recommend her to others, and have already!
Connie is a miracle worker! We saw a 90% improvement after the first visit and 99% after three visits. After three visits BeBo went from badly behaved brat to well behaved boy! I'm so thrilled with her gentle but firm methods and the quick results we saw. My BFF said he was like a different dog. The things we worked on were the excessive barking, jumping up, getting into the trash and catfood, chasing the cat, begging for food, not staying in his bed at night, pulling on the leash and chasing him to put him in the kennel. BeBo is 3-1/2 years old so it's never too late to teach your dog manners. Everyone thought it would be impossible to teach him to behave as he was a difficult case, but so glad they were wrong. It wasn't the dog, it was US who needed the training. A HUGE thank you to Connie and Bark Busters for giving us the tools we needed to put peace in our house!!! Highly recommend her to everyone!
Connie Archer's training using your techniques and products continue to help us every day as we enjoy an energetic loving big puppy! Connie was so accessible, flexible, professional, and engaging. And patient with us! The new harness is amazing and makes walking Blake enjoyable. Knowing that Connie and her skills are just a phone call away is invaluable - I am so glad we found her! Thank you.
Connie worked wonders with Lacey, my rescue dog. She was extremely aggressive when anyone came to the house. After one session, was much better. After the second and third sessions, we cam welcome guests without fear of her biting. She also worked with Beaux on his barking and whining. He is doing much better. I would highly recommend her. Lacey gets to stay a part of our family thanks to Connie.
