About Michael

Welcome. I'm Michael Konstantaras, Bark Busters Master Trainer and Behavioral Therapist:

  • 2023 International Behavior Therapist/Trainer of the Year
  • 2021 International Behavioral Therapist/Trainer of The Year
  • 2018 International Behavioral Therapist/Trainer of The Year
  • 2016 Trainer/Behavioral Therapist of The Year
  • 2016 John Desiderio Memorial Award
  • 2014 Golden Wolf Recipient
  • 2014 Behavioral Therapist/Trainer of The Year Finalist

For the past 16 years, I have helped my clients become "the leader of their pack" using dog-friendly, non-food based techniques. My experience working with literally thousands of dogs of all breeds will help me get you and your dog on the same page and live the happy, peaceful life together that both/all of you want.

I will help you build a loving, respectful relationship with your dog, and address any behavioral issues without using physical force or doing anything harmful ever to your dog. This will also be achieved without treats. No shock/prong collars or harmful techniques are ever used by me. My goal is for your dog to love and respect you, not fear you.

I will work with you addressing dog behavior issues such as housebreaking, separation anxiety, aggression, jumping up, puppy nipping, walking on leash/leash reactivity, and much more. It's never too early or too late to start training with me. From puppies 8-weeks-old to any behavioral issue with adult dogs of any age or breed, I can help you.

You'll be amazed at what your dog will be able to do once you learn to "speak dog".

In-Home Training. I come to you! Your home, yard, and neighborhood are where most dog's issues occur. This is why it's best to start in these locations. I also do off-site lessons at the local dog park or teaching client's how to calmly walk their dogs through town on a busy weekend afternoon! I will effectively address any issue you may have including: aggression, housebreaking, jumping on visitors, nuisance barking, getting into the garbage can, demanding attention or bothering family members and guests, fighting between dogs in the same home, separation anxiety, walking on leash, and much more. I start in the home but all outdoor training is included too!

Being in a familiar environment where there's nothing competing for your dog's attention enables us to address the dog obedience issues very quickly. In fact, it's very common for clients to see results with dog behavioral issues in the first 20 minutes! Expensive "boot camps" or sleep away training are not effective in my opinion because your dog needs to respect and listen to you in your home, not a trainer at some facility. Besides, wouldn't you rather be a part of shaping your dog's behavior to the way you want it to be?

Personalized Dog Training Programs. No "one size fits all" group dog training or puppy training classes. I develop a personalized one-on-one program for you based on your dog's particular personality, perspective and your goals. You'll learn how to read your dog's reactions and adjust your communication as needed depending on how your dog is responding.

Positive Dog Training. No shock collars, choke collars, pinning, intimidation or clickers. Unlike some trainers, I never use harsh techniques or bribe with food to extort good behavior. Our dog training focuses on using dogs' natural instincts to work toward a win -win situation for you and your dog. Trust, clear communication and understanding produces longer lasting results than treat training or force.

Effective dog training. You will learn more in our first training lesson and get better results than in group classes that last several weeks. You'll be amazed at what your dog will be able to do once you learn to "speak dog".

Speak Dog. Dogs don't understand English any better than Italian. It's no wonder they can't immediately understand your verbal commands.. You should learn your dog's language not the other way around. This is especially true if your dog is stressed or seems resistant to what you have already tried. I will teach you to communicate using the language your dog already understands. You will learn how to use your body language and voice tones to get your dog to focus on you and respond to your directions. It's really amazing for both you and your dog when you can finally understand what each other wants!

New Adoption. Adoption is at an all time high which is great! I have helped countless families welcome their newly adopted puppy or adult dog to their home. Not all dogs (unfortunately) have had the best experiences before you adopt them. I will help your new furry family member adjust to your home and establish that calm, balanced environment that you both desire.

Have Michael come speak at your office, school, or next event:

I routinely speak at Vet Offices, Children or Adult Schools, Animal Shelters, Town or City Meetings, and various other forums on such topics as General Dog Behavior, Aggression, Dog Safety in the Workplace, Puppy Behavior, Adoption, or any dog related topic of your choice.

About Cassidy

Hello, I am Cassidy Lewis, your Bark Busters trainer in Stamford & Greater Fairfield County, Connecticut.

I’ve always had a love for animals and have found they would also gravitate to me. If you're reading my bio, then you'll probably agree there's nothing like the companionship of a dog. We also know that when these companions have behavioral issues, it can really upset the entire home.

Having official Bark Busters certification, and having worked with Michael the last five years, I have learned the skills and techniques to help you address any behavioral issue, with any breed, at any age. From new puppies, to dogs well over 10 years old, it's never too early or too late to start. I will work by your side, in your home, and in your community to get your pup to view you as your family's leader.

Once you learn how to communicate with your dog in a way your dog understands, you will both live a more happy and peaceful life together.  All of this will be achieved without unnecessary treats or doing anything harmful to your dog (No shock/prong collars/being physical ever).

When your dog trusts you and can communicate clearly with you, your bond will grow even more! Every day I'm thankful that I have the opportunity to help so many people build the relationship with their dog of which they have always dreamed.

Thank you Michael from Barkbusters, for all your training experience. This was such a positive, helpful and successful meeting. In just one meeting my husband and I feel confident that we can be better responsible dog owners!
We worked with Michael when our Aussie was a little over a year old. She was a little monster with nipping, not listening, etc. He helped us get her under control and now 2 years later most of her training has stuck and she has been much easier to handle. Michael went on a walk with us and got our pup to stop lunging at cars! She no long nips and doesn’t beg for food. She’s not perfectly behaved but we are so happy we went with Bark Busters. Michael helped a ton but we still have to do the work to make sure we use his methods to stop bad behavior. 10/10 recommend!
I called Mike for our dog Bruno, who has SEVERE separation anxiety (he is the famous ROOF DOG). Our initial session with Mike occurred in August and lasted over 3 hrs. Mike was professional, knowledgeable, fun to work with and loved by my whole family (pups included!). His training techniques are easy to learn and effective. We saw a HUGE improvement in our dogs' behavior immediately. What earns Mike a 5+ STAR review from me is his responsiveness. It's been over 90 days since our first session and Mike is as accessible today as he was the day of our first session. Every call and text is responded to promptly, even when Mike has been out of town. Separation anxiety is not an easy fix. It's a huge relief knowing that we have Mike available when needed. Mike is a committed, compassionate, honest, and gifted dog trainer with a big heart. I highly recommend him.
Within two hours of meeting me and my very reactive dog, Mike had made incredible strides with my dogs behavior. My dog is extremely reactive, he tries to attack every dog we see and pretty much every human we see too. Let alone his separation anxiety, which is also off the charts. I have worked with trainers before and never saw this large of an impact, let alone this quickly. Mike is a miracle worker!!!! Mike is not a dog trainer, he is a dog psychologist and he can do more for you and your dog than any trainer will ever be able to. He is making an incredible difference in a dog that trainers gave up on. His expertise is truly unmatched. Can not recommend him enough.
We've been working with Mike and Cassidy for a few months now and we saw a positive change in our dogs behavior immediately following the first session with them. We unfortunately lost one of our dogs shortly after starting with them and they were amazing working with us. Boomer no longer rushes the front door or guests, he respects designated spaces in the house and has greatly improved with pulling on the leash and his reactivity.
Cassidy and Mike were absolute lifesavers and worth the investment! They are extremely knowledgeable, professional, and responsive. My rescue was experiencing severe separation anxiety and incessantly howling. I was getting multiple noise violations from my apartment building. Despite their full calendar they not only squeezed me in their schedule, but gave me a list of techniques to start implementing immediately to start addressing the anxiety. Within the first few days I noticed a difference and continuing to practice them has only expedited the progress. They really focus on the behavioral changes for long lasting results as opposed to temporary fixes. I highly recommend Mike and Cassidy for anyone considering dog training- they are worth it!
Cassidy and Mike are Wonderful Pet Trainers. Cassidy showed me how to use other ways for Kobe(my pit bull dog 4yrs old) to be more efficient with commands. She was also able to explain anything that I needed to change my approach with Kobe.
With it only being a week…Kobe is even more amazing than before.
I would love to say that I would recommend:tell everyone about Bark Buster’s.
They’re really great with scheduling appointments…also they will come out to your place to make easier for the pet and owner.😘🥰
I give them 5✨🏆🥇thank you guys.🥰🥰
Our shelter dog was a 3yo boxer mastiff with zero training when we adopted him. He was mouthy and difficult to walk. We were nervous if he would be the right fit for our son, but we hired Mike and Cassidy and they worked their magic!! Instantly, Mike was able to "master control" of our dog and demonstrated his ability to provide guidance during the training process. It took some months of practice but we've seen a night and day change in our dog. He no longer pulls on the leash. Walks along side us and seeks permission to walk ahead. He's extremely docile. No longer mouthy. Great on a leash. Sleeps at my feet. No longer appears threatening at all. We are BEYOND happy and impressed. Well worth the investment!!
My dog Frankie is a rescue from the streets of Puerto Rico. He is my ninth dog. He has also been the most difficult of all my dogs to train. I have had Frankie for over two years. He’s smart, and he tests me constantly, ignoring commands, playing ‘catch me if you can’ and basically ruling the house. I was going to hire a dog trainer, but Frankie already knows all of his commands, but follows them on his terms, not mine. If I have food in my hands, he listens to every word. He becomes a straight ‘A’ student for chicken jerky. Without food, he does what he wants. We really didn’t need a ‘trainer’. We needed more.

After doing some research, I called Bark Busters. I spoke to a knowledgeable young man who gave me hope as I made an appointment for a visit from one of their therapists. I hired Bark Busters to help me take control of my topsy turvy, fragile relationship with my dog. Bark Busters Behavioral therapists don’t spend time on reinforcing verbal commands. Instead, they taught me how to communicate in dog language and behaviors that my dog would comprehend and respect.

In walks Cassidy, into my home, with a confidant smile and a personality to match. With instruction and demonstrations, she taught me how to execute behavioral changes without the need for treats, or negative reinforcement. Within three hours, my Frankie was transforming right in front of my eyes. Cassidy not only changed my dog, but transformed me, as well. The knowledge she delivered was above and beyond that of a dog trainer. It was more of a counseling session with role playing that helped me understand my dog and for him to understand me.

By the time Cassidy left my home, I had the foundation for building a truly amazing relationship with my dog. Frankie and I, with Cassidy’s help, began a journey that we build upon everyday through the planning and accompanying homework I was given. Cassidy has been right there along side us through this continuing journey. She checks in with us regularly, is always available to answer questions or make suggestions, and continually pays us visits to see how things are going. During her visits, Frankie and I get beneficial pointers that continue to strengthen our bond.

I am 71 years old. Frankie will probably be my last dog. Because of Cassidy, I no longer worry about reactive behavior, or being ignored when I don’t have a treat in my hand. I don’t worry about Frankie escaping from the house or pulling me to chase a squirrel or run to say hi to another dog. Because of Cassidy, my dog is confidant in what I am asking of him. He has learned how to relax. He wants to please me. He LISTENS and is self-assured as to what I expect from him. In turn, I have a well-adjusted, calm, and much happier companion.
Cassidy’s expertise and vast understanding of dog language and behaviors is worth every penny. The philosophy of Bark Busters and their dog friendly ability to change behaviors are incredible. I am, as I’m sure you can tell from this long winded review, amazed by the results Frankie and I have experienced. You will be too.
We worked with Cassidy after our 80lb dog Bruno nipped at our 10 month old. We had the most incredible experience from start to where we are now with Cassidy (until more life changes happen!) Bruno is a good boy who had a bad day so he took to the training seamlessly, he just needed adjust to our new lifestyle and we needed to be the ones to correct him and keep him calm so he can live his best life. And Bruno is happier for it! You guys are the best and I am so thankful!
Mike and Cassidy have been amazing. They obviously love dogs. They give clear , logical, helpful guidance for training dogs to be good citizens. Cassidy was very helpful when I needed assistance with my wonderful but reactive dog, who has been very difficult to walk. They have weekly group dog walks which have been a great bonus. I recommend them both for fabulous dog training!!!
We when first brought Hugo home from the rescue we knew we needed guidance. Our second French Bulldog but our first adopted young adult dog, we had little idea what his previous life looked like. One call to our vet for help, led us to Michael. Within 15 minutes of his first visit Michael was already making headway and the results were kind of unbelievable. Hugo went from jumping three feet in the air and barking his lungs out to a completely docile, calm pup. What kind of Voo-Doo was this? None actually. Michael’s simple suggestions, observations to behavior and tips that we could follow ourselves were what made the difference. Michael took the time to not only explain and show us what needed to be done but also included our children in the discussion. The paperwork the rescue provided us upon adoption told the tale of a young Frenchie, who was passed around to boarding facilities and doggie daycares and whose aggressive behavior reflected that. Michael’s gentle and humane methods helped us bring out the good boy who had been in there all along. I’ve been recommending him to everyone I know but especially those who think their adult dogs are too old to be helped. The truth is you can teach old dogs new tricks.
Cassidy has done an amazing job with our two dogs Luna and Snooker. They have very different personalities and challenges, and we really appreciate Cassidy's expertise and ability to flexibly adjust the style for each dog individually. Snooker is still a puppy and Cassidy has checked in many times to see how we're doing and if we have any questions. I like the business model that her and Mike have, because I don't feel pressured to get everything in by an 'end date' of training. Instead I just feel that we have this support for as long as we need it. Cassidy is extremely knowledgable about her business, but also takes a pragmatic, realistic approach, which we have super appreciated. Very happy with our experience so far!

From the moment I spoke with Mike, I knew we were in good hands. His extensive knowledge and genuine passion for working with dogs and helping people were immediately apparent. After just one Zoom session, we began to see noticeable improvements in our dog’s behavior. Mike even went above and beyond to accommodate our hectic schedule, offering a session at 6:30 PM on a Friday night.

He provided us with a straightforward and effective plan that made addressing our dog's issues feel manageable and achievable. His explanations were so clear that even a preschooler could follow along. We’re incredibly grateful to Mike for his guidance, and we’re excited to see continued progress with Jax. Thanks again, Mike!
Last Monday Michael came to my home to help me with my beautiful two year old Sherinian. When we go for a walk Mia would bark at everything and especially everyone we passed she wouldn’t let anybody into my house without barking constantly the entire time they were here. Michael worked with her for approximately 10 minutes he diagnosed exactly what the problem was Gave me some tools and instructions as to how to help her understand. We then went outside where he walked with me and showed me exactly what needed to be done in a very firm but loving way. I am happy to say Mia had an appointment at the veterinarian on Thursday she walked in that office never barked at anybody sat down while we waited our turn and was an entirely different puppy. In my opinion Michael is truly the dog whisperer he has more knowledge about dogs and they’re behaviors and how to correct them than anybody I have ever met. More importantly to me he did this with absolutely no cruel or harsh techniques and zero negativity he did this all with kindness, gentleness and understanding I would highly recommend Michael to anybody that has any issues with their dog training
Fairfield Connecticut has its very own dog whisperer. Michael is the absolute BEST! He was first recommended to us via a friend and then through a quick Facebook search on behavioral dog trainers, and we couldn't be happier that we were led his way. First off, he's a great guy. He's funny, personable, helpful and genuinely wants the best for you and your dog. Our first session was 3 hours long and so informative. It helped us recognize the role we played in regards to our dog's behavior. At the end of this session, he had our dog responsive to his techniques and, therefore, calmer in general. We had homework to do and Mike was always accessible with any questions/concerns we had. His response time was incredible. We are gradually addressing our concerns and the second session was equally as productive with our dog minimizing his aggression towards other dogs within a few exercises. It is truly unlike anything we could've imagined and our expectations have indeed been surpassed. Our dog is no longer furry and furious nor is he bouncing from the windows to the walls, he is becoming the pet we always knew he could be. We are so grateful for Michael and the bark busters techniques and couldn't recommend him enough.
We needed help training our pup who is full of energy and at times rather mischievous. Cassidy came to our home, trained the whole family, and within the first hour together, we were amazed how our dog responded after meeting her. Cassidy has been teaching us how to successfully work with our dog in a manner that he understands while employing a method that uses no clickers or treats. The results have been outstanding!! No more jumping up on family members or the kitchen counters. No more pulling on the leash during our walks. With Cassidy’s guidance, we have set appropriate boundaries and implemented a structured training plan that works!! And if questions arise in between appointments, Cassidy is always quick, conscientious, and happy to respond. We are thrilled to work with Cassidy and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trainer.
I have been working with Michael for 9 years on continued maintenance of our dog Sammy. Yesterday we had to put are other dog down after 14.7 wonderful years. Naturally I called Michael to help us with Sammy as he too lost his pal. When u first started to use Michael he said anytime you need me I am here and I mean it. Mike brings a wealth of knowledge to handling pretty much everything you want to work o with your dog. He once again, came through with his calming nature, techniques and tips especially with this trying time for our dog and family. Thank you Michael for the help again. I strongly urge anyone to use Michael and bark busters! They constantly help and deliver and will for life!
We have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy and wanted to be more proactive this time with training and called Bark Busters. Cassidy has been terrific - she came to our house and spent several hours at the first meeting explaining their methodology and teaching the adults how to react to different puppy behaviors. Amazingly, Duncan was listening to her and she taught us to use these same techniques. Cassidy also gave us a better understanding on how to use the crate - which has been life changing with a puppy. Literally from the first day, Cassidy has made a difference in how Duncan is behaving. We have really worked at the training tools she has given us, and it has made a great difference in how comfortable we are with having a puppy. Not only has she taught us what to do, but also what not to do. After the second visit, we are feeling even more confident and happy with how Duncan is progressing and look forward to future visits as Duncan becomes a well behaved member of our household. If we have a question in between appointments, Cassidy is very quick and happy to respond. We are so happy that we made the decision to call Bark Busters and highly recommend bringing Cassidy in to help with a new puppy!
We needed help training our puppy who has a mind of his own. Michael came and immediately began training the whole family. Our dog responded the first time meeting him. He is teaching us how to set expectations with our dog and has been very patient with us. We quickly learned how to establish boundaries while enjoying our dog. We are very thankful to Michael.
I am the grandma of two dogs who where not getting along in my home. Cassidy came and worked with Josephine & Lincoln and within 20 minute she had both dogs walking together and in the house without barking or showing aggression toward each other. Her training techniques are amazing .
I cannot say enough good things about Bark Busters. Our family worked with Cassidy, Mike's partner, and she was amazing. Our 3-year old Brussels Griffon barked at everything...the doorbell, buzzers on television, an owl hooting, squirrels in the yard, our next door neighbor's birthday party, my husband entering the room...and once he started, he didn't stop. Cassidy demonstrated how using a different set of behaviors can interrupt your dog's disruptive patterns. We saw results the VERY FIRST NIGHT. The week after Cassidy worked with us, we had six HVAC guys working in our house and our dog barely seemed to notice.

Our dog's new attitude has been life-changing. He no longer makes me jump 3 feet from my chair when he barks at ghosts at 11 pm. He doesn't wake up my niece's baby barking at a squirrel. He isn't disruptive when we have house guests. He's happy and relaxed! I feel as though I've gained Snow White-level animal communication powers.

PS Bark Busters is really training you, of course. You have to be willing to practice their method with your dog a few times a day. The payoff is huge. I feel as though my dog trusts me more, and feels safer and more relaxed. Our whole family is happier!
Michael helped me train my dog, Kiki this afternoon. I really felt lucky to find him. I felt completely at ease with his professional guidance. I brought my Austrailian Cattle Dog, Kiki, with me and really didn't know what to expect. I got Kiki at 3 months old basically the day the Pandemic shut everything down in the end of February 2020. Socialization and training was pushed off until the fall 2020 because of that. Long story short, she is a good girl, but I have had a lot of trouble feeling comfortable walking her. She lunges unexpectedly when she sees birds, squirrels, bicyclists and skate board kids. Anyway, I met with Michael and for one hour he worked with Kiki and I. I learned so much and Kiki behaved so well, it really felt like a miracle. I am so grateful and now I have some new and effective techniques to practice with her!
Having had a small dog for 11 years, we decided to add to our family and within 6 months we had added 2 rescues, who loved their new family, but weren't so trusting with visitors coming into the house. We tried a few trainers, with no success, then (thank goodness) stumbled across Cassidy - and my goodness has she changed all of our lives for the better!!! I've gone from feeling totally overwhelmed and like a failing dog mom, to having 3 thriving contented dogs, who are chilled and welcoming to all of our guests! This weekend we had so many guests over and our dogs were calm, comfortable and happy! At points you wouldn't have known there were dogs in our family.
Cassidy and Bark Busters have been a total game changer for us all! I cannot even begin to express our gratitude and everything we have learnt. Some changes happened over night, others have taken 6 months of persistent and patient training. Don't give up on your pups, give these guys a call and they could save your family like they have mine!!!

Honestly, I'm thankful for finding Cassidy each and everyday!!
My 8 year old Goldendoodle Sailor began exhibiting aggression towards other dogs in the past year. I was very concerned about the liability and why my sweet doodle had changed. Cassidy spent an initial three hours with us which included a short amazing video, details of the Bark Buster philosophy on training, and hands on work with us and Sailor. Results were immediate and we now have a calm, non-aggressive, happier dog. I used to train dogs many years ago, and and impressed that this method uses no clickers or treats, just proven ways of communicating with your dog. We recently moved to an apartment complex in downtown Stamford in which many people have dogs of various breeds and temperaments. Sailor is now great riding the elevators with other dogs, passes by dogs on the sidewalk without any lunging or barking, and has even ignored other dogs who have lunged at her. I owe it all to Cassidy and Bark Busters and highly recommend them, it is well worth the price for the peace of mind we have, and that Sailor is once again a happy, calm, and confident dog.
Cassidy was very helpful last year with our first foster dog who was a pitbull mix as she had some issues we had never dealt with in previous dogs. She gave us some great tools and I am happy to say her recommendations were very effective and such a great help.

A few months ago we adopted a 7 month old Rottweiler puppy. Like many puppies he had some typical puppy issues which we were able to address effectively and overall he was a great dog. However, he developed a fixation with chasing and digging at his shadow. We tried distraction, extra exercise, spray bottles, turning him on his back, and a myriad of other tactics all to no avail. We were almost at our wits end. Cassidy to the rescue – wish we had called her sooner. After she evaluated our latest addition to the pack she shared some great tools and exercises from her trainer toolbox. I am elated that we saw an immediate change for the better in his behavior. Her suggestions were the best kind – simple and yet effective. She was able to not only demonstrate the tools/exercises but more importantly observe us to ensure these were used with the proper timing for them to be effective. Reading books and watching youtube videos is entertaining and there is some great content out there but every dog is different. Sometimes having a professional personally observe your dog and how you interact with them can save hours of frustration and drastically shorten the path to success. All we have to do now is follow the path Cassidy outlined so our Rottie will continue to improve. Would not hesitate to call her again and highly recommend her.
We had Cassidy come to our house to help with our 2 year old female dog (Maribelle) we adopted a couple months ago. She was having issues with pulling very hard on the leash, jumping on people that would come to the house, and tearing up outdoor furniture. Cassidy was able to provide us with an incredibly knowledgeable and structured plan that just made sense, no crazy tricks. She was friendly and made the sessions enjoyable and we learned a lot as owners. After our first session the difference in the behavior of Maribelle was night and day, no more pulling and much calmer. Between sessions Cassidy gave us some tips to continue to work with Maribelle. After the second and final session we can honestly say we do not have any more behavioral issues. It was an honest pleasure working with Cassidy and her extremely friendly personality and affection towards her clients is something you do not see to often anymore. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a trainer!

Are You Struggling with Your Dog's Behavior?

Not to worry. With Bark Busters in-home dog training services, I come to you for training. Your home, yard, and neighborhood are where most dog's issues occur. This is why it's best to start in these locations. Being in a familiar environment where there's nothing competing for your dog's attention enables us to address the dog obedience issues very quickly. I also do off-site lessons, to teach clients how to interact with their dog when visiting a local dog park or walking through town on a busy weekend afternoon!

I Can Help with Any Issue

By using natural and humane methods and applying the rules of pack law, I can teach you how to communicate and understand your dog on a primal level and help your dog. With proper follow through and application of techniques we can effectively address any issue you may have including:

  • Aggression
  • Housebreaking
  • Jumping on visitors
  • Nuisance barking
  • Getting into the garbage can
  • Demanding attention or bothering family members and guests
  • Fighting between dogs in the same home
  • Separation anxiety
  • Walking on leash, and much more

Expensive "boot camps" or sleep away training are not effective in my opinion because your dog needs to respect and listen to you in your home, not a trainer at some facility. With in-home training you take part in shaping your dog's behavior to the way you want it to be. Let me teach you how to “speak dog” and communicate with your dog in a way they understand.

Aggressive Dog Training Bark Busters Home Dog Training

Your Dog’s Aggressive Behavior Can Be Resolved

Aggression is a learned behavior. Most often aggression in dogs derives from fear or a lack of safety and security. In order to resolve aggressive behavior, you have to get to the root of the issue. With Bark Busters in-home dog training, I am able to assess the cause of your dog’s aggression and help you implement strategies to resolve these issues.

With my 15+ years experience training over 4,000 dogs of all ages, breeds, and size, a great majority of the dogs I've helped have been aggressive towards other dogs, humans, or both. In many cases, dogs I've worked with have even been aggressive towards or bitten members of their own family. I have developed a system to help address, and on many occasions, fully correct these behaviors by the end of our first session.

No Dog Is Beyond Help

The most important thing you can do to help your aggressive dog is to prevent situations that may lead to danger and seek professional assistance.

Training must be applied and followed through for good behaviors to continue, but when you learn why your dogs are being aggressive and I give you the tools and communication techniques to address them, most dogs happily and quickly change because these aggressive moments are just as stressful for them as it is for you. I can help you. Contact me today.

We teach you how to use friendly, canine leadership and to "speak dog" using your body language, voice tones, and timing so you and your dog communicate better! You will see results. You want to see a change in your dog’s behavior, preferably sooner rather than later.

Any Breed. Any Age. Any Issue. Get Started Today!

We customize our training sessions to achieve your specific goals and meet your dog’s unique needs. When you learn to "speak dog" the Bark Busters way, you get real results – and nurture positive relationships and lasting emotional bonds with your canine family member.
