Bonnie has been so helpful with training my stubborn Rottie. The techniques she has taught me have improved me and my dogs life. Bonnie is clear with communication and is quick to come by when we need a follow up. We tried other trainings before Bonnie with no results. I get instant results with the things she has taught me.

Peter was amazing and so helpful! He worked with us for 5 hours the first visit and gave us some many tools to start building our cofidence and training with Marvel. I feel so much better about getting our pup back to the fun, loving guy we know he can be.

Josh was very helpful in guiding me to make the appropriate corrections with my dog's behavior. Xena made tremendous improvement during the visit and I'm sure will continue to do so with the tools and lessons learned in my session.

My 4 year old Pomeranian had a lot of behavioral issues that I was struggling so hard to correct. He was always territorial of his food, places in the house and me and would even resort to biting to guard these things. He would also bark nonstop in the house when he heard dogs outside and no command could stop him. He would also be very reactive to other dogs in public which would always stress me out when we were out to the point where I wasn’t able to enjoy being out with him. This always made me so sad to have to leave him in the house all the time because of his reactivity. I was desperate for change and was so scared that he wouldn’t be able to change since he is already almost 4 and has very severe habits. However, Justin has completely changed him. I was skeptical when they said we would see results within the first session but it was absolutely true. After just one session, he became the quietest dog on our block. He wouldn’t respond at all to the dogs barking around our neighborhood. He became so well behaved, some family members became worried because of how quiet he stayed. The biggest miracle is him not being territorial anymore. This has ensured my family of complete safety around the house. I never thought my dog would be able to learn how to heel, but Justin showed him how in the first session which completely astonished me. A few days after our first session, I was able to take my dog out to the mall and it was the first time I was able to enjoy being out with him. He would quietly wait under the table while we ate and didn’t react to dogs he would come across while we were walking. Justin has been absolutely amazing. It is so comforting to have someone of his caliber and expertise guiding you and genuinely caring about you and your dog. He makes every effort to make sure he is able to help with whatever you need and always emphasizes that he is only one text away. He always finds a way to fit you into his schedule and is a complete joy to be around. When they say he is the last trainer you’ll ever need, they mean it. Investing in training my dog has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Both me and my dog have become less stressed and are both now able to enjoy life to the fullest.

Working with Bark Busters has been an absolutely top-notch experience from start to finish. Scheduling was easy and they took the time to truly understand our needs before we even began. When James arrived for our first session, he came fully prepared and immediately demonstrated a clear understanding of the behaviors we wanted to improve. Within the first 30 minutes, James gave us practical tools to address barking and over-excitement when visitors come over. I wish we had found Sharon when Thor was a puppy! We have a 6-year-old Australian Cattle Dog named Thor and he lives up to all the classic traits of a Heeler. He was constantly alert and on edge. He is triggered by movement. We had issues with him being reactive, chasing cars and barking at other dogs. We tried a “treat” based trainer, and while he learned a lot of tricks, it did not solve our dog's behavioral issues. Now I have ditched the treat bag and am relating to him on an instinctual level. It has made such a significant difference. He is so much calmer and even more affectionate. Sharon has taught us great behavioral techniques. She has been available anytime we needed more reinforcement and real settings with real dogs.

Very efficient, effective and amazing quick response rate from the dogs. I am very happy and can see a much happier household moving forward! I know the pups actually feel better too. I look foward to happier and more frequen family times.

All I can say is 'amazing'! Calling Scot was the best thing we have done. In just three hours we learned more that 2 semester of puppy classes and 12 weeks of intensive training. We have a 2.5 year old Frenchie (girl). She is very smart and 'bulldog' stubborn. She has had BSA surgery, cryosurgery on her eyelashes 3 times, takes allergy meds and allergy shots and can be a handful. She is aggressive to the point of biting us. In just three hours we have made more progress with her. No doubt there is a lot more work to be done, and being committed and consistent is the key. But knowing exactly what to do and how to do it has already moved us in a very positive direction.
Don't waste your money and time on puppy classes that use 'treat training' or on intensive training where you drop off your dog. Just call Scot. Your life and your dog's life will be happier and healthier! It is natural training (not using fear or pressure) that makes so much sense when you understand it.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience! From the very start, both Tiffany and Amanda were incredibly responsive and understanding. Tiffany took the time to answer every one of my questions and concerns over email and phone before our first session, which really put me at ease.

Sarah is amazing. She helped us understand our dogs better and how better to handle some situations. We saw improvements right away. We found Johnny looking for a dog trainer to work with our 2 German Shepherd rescues in need of leash training due to their size/strength (90 lbs & 105 lbs) as well as in home obedience to improve their adoptability. After extensive research for a behavioral trainer with rescue dog experience, we hired Johnny based on his reviews alone! Johnny not disappoint, he far exceeded our expectations in training both GSDs, their foster parents & US! I can honestly say, with a decade of experience working with dog trainers, that Johnny is by far THE BEST! His extensive knowledge in dog psychology/ behavior & simple replicable training methods combined with his genuine love for dogs & his demeanor around them, Johnny possesses something TRULY SPECIAL that can NOT be taught. The dogs know it & seeing how they respond to his training techniques is like MAGIC happening! Our 2 GSDs both knew several commands prior to rescue, it was clear they would respond well to training but we did not expect them to light up when Johnny arrived! Both dogs completed their obedience checklist & our male GSD quickly became the King of “Place” always the 1st on his cot! Leash training to eliminate pulling was challenging at first due to their excitability of all new sights/smells as well as new found strength in recovery BUT with Johnny’s persistence testing various handling gear the Figure 8 proved to the be solution. They responded so well to Johnny working with the Figure 8 lead, they were soon walking next to any handler at any pace fast or slow!! Plus, ultimately, for dog training to be successful, it is just as much training the humans to practice consistently after Johnny leaves as it is about training the dogs. That is where Johnny is in a league of his own… He is just as incredible training the humans as the dogs! The foster mom, who has fostered close to 100 dogs & her husband was only involved with the family dogs & they had never worked with a dog trainer. After just 1 SESSION, the foster parents were not only believers in training BUT said it was life changing & are excited about practicing with ALL the dogs. The foster dad even talks about Johnny’s training with everyone they know & now helps with all the foster dogs too! We had a small sized boxer before kids and loved her so much. After she passed and COVID hit we decided to get 2 boxers puppies since we would have the time to train them. It was great in the first year and then they started to overpower us with muscle and boxing like play and especially with young kids.
