Bonnie has been so helpful with training my stubborn Rottie. The techniques she has taught me have improved me and my dogs life. Bonnie is clear with communication and is quick to come by when we need a follow up. We tried other trainings before Bonnie with no results. I get instant results with the things she has taught me.

Peter was amazing and so helpful! He worked with us for 5 hours the first visit and gave us some many tools to start building our cofidence and training with Marvel. I feel so much better about getting our pup back to the fun, loving guy we know he can be.
Peter was super patient, explained everything so well, and gave us a ton of tools for each problem area we gave him. We already see small changed in Marvel and it gives us a ton of hope. Josh was very helpful in guiding me to make the appropriate corrections with my dog's behavior. Xena made tremendous improvement during the visit and I'm sure will continue to do so with the tools and lessons learned in my session.

My 4 year old Pomeranian had a lot of behavioral issues that I was struggling so hard to correct. He was always territorial of his food, places in the house and me and would even resort to biting to guard these things. He would also bark nonstop in the house when he heard dogs outside and no command could stop him. He would also be very reactive to other dogs in public which would always stress me out when we were out to the point where I wasn’t able to enjoy being out with him. This always made me so sad to have to leave him in the house all the time because of his reactivity. I was desperate for change and was so scared that he wouldn’t be able to change since he is already almost 4 and has very severe habits. However, Justin has completely changed him. I was skeptical when they said we would see results within the first session but it was absolutely true. After just one session, he became the quietest dog on our block. He wouldn’t respond at all to the dogs barking around our neighborhood. He became so well behaved, some family members became worried because of how quiet he stayed. The biggest miracle is him not being territorial anymore. This has ensured my family of complete safety around the house. I never thought my dog would be able to learn how to heel, but Justin showed him how in the first session which completely astonished me. A few days after our first session, I was able to take my dog out to the mall and it was the first time I was able to enjoy being out with him. He would quietly wait under the table while we ate and didn’t react to dogs he would come across while we were walking. Justin has been absolutely amazing. It is so comforting to have someone of his caliber and expertise guiding you and genuinely caring about you and your dog. He makes every effort to make sure he is able to help with whatever you need and always emphasizes that he is only one text away. He always finds a way to fit you into his schedule and is a complete joy to be around. When they say he is the last trainer you’ll ever need, they mean it. Investing in training my dog has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Both me and my dog have become less stressed and are both now able to enjoy life to the fullest.

Sharon at Bark Busters has really helped me develop the right behaviors to bring out the best in my beautiful Bernie doodle...BAYOU. I've never really trained a puppy before, but Sharon breaks down the skills and demonstrates them so well... we get a nearly instant response. Bark Busters can help you with short-term issues...or like us...you can have her be available for the life of your dog....as their (your) needs change. It's a GREAT INVESTMENT in a well-behaved and happier fur friend.

We've been very pleased with Sharon at Bark Busters. This is our first puppy....in 25 years...so it's been great to relearn the do's and don'ts, especially now that we're retired and have more time...to pay attention :) Would highly recommend them as a solid INVESTMENT in making your long-term DOGGY relationship, the BEST it can be. We have a 10 month old Shihpoo with separation anxiety. We couldn’t leave the house without her. She would yelp and cry uncontrollably. We tried crate training and watched so many videos looking for a training method that would work. One session with Sharon and we have the tools to gain some freedom. We are on day 2 and we’ve already made so much progress. We are able to better communicate with our dog and help her understand that she is safe and can relax when we leave. It pretty remarkable!!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Scott! In just one visit we learned how to stop our dog from being reactive to doorbells, how to calmly let guests in/out of our home, how to recall our dog, and how claim our space and furniture back. Interestingly in just a few hours our dog learned the system/tools he put into place and we were left in a positive space of feeling like we are ready to practice and implement all we learned over the next few weeks. We could not be more appreciative of Scott’s time and expertise.

After one session with Josh, our 9-month-old cattle/pittie/boxer mix Fox has become a new little man. Josh starts working the second he walks through your door. We had been struggling with puppy regression, attitude problems, and poor walking habits, but 24 hours after our 1st session, walking Fox has become near idyllic. We were equipped with immediate skills to practice, follow-up work, and a calming assurance that things might *actually* be okay. I'm not a big digital reviewer, but felt the need to write: if you're on the fence or on the verge of giving up, in a mess of tears after a 'simple' walk around the block, I highly recommend chatting with Josh and his team. We'd read Bark Busters' reviews before, stating an immediate positive change in dogs after an initial session, and wanted so badly to believe they were true: they are. We've got some continued work to do, but at this rate, we have been bestowed a new confidence and are feeling relief already.

Orlando is very professional and is amazing with my two dogs. I am introudcing a new dog into our home with an existing dog and having some issues with the new dog being protective and trying to show dominance over myself and the existing dog. Orlando Gave me the tools I needed to establish that i am the leader and that they both need to listen to me. After only two hours there is a big difference in both dogs behaviors towards me and each other. I would highly recommend Orlando who is very friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with.

We rescued our dogs and Carrie rescued our home. She brought confident techniques to us and made our dogs understand who is in charge without hurting them or causing them to fear us. They know that they are safe and loved.

We recently hired Bark Busters to help us with our Miniature American Shepherd, Cooper, who is very reactive and has started to be aggressive toward people. We didn't know quite what to expect when Omar showed up, but I can say he more than exceeded what we hoped to accomplish on that first visit. Before he even met Cooper, he spent time with our family, listening to our concerns and then helping us understand why Cooper was behaving as he was. This insight has been a game-changer in how we interact with Cooper. And already we're seeing results. We still have a long way to go, but Omar has given us the hope that Cooper can become a calm, confident and happy dog who will bring much joy to our family. I searched for weeks for the right trainer for our (then) 6-month-old puppy and ultimately decided to go with Bark Busters. We've now been working with Johnny for several months, and our pup is doing great! He is patient with our dog, and even more patient with us as we learn how to continue training outside of training sessions. He understood that while we wanted a well-behaved dog with manners, we wanted our dog to be part of the family. He finds the perfect balance, between dog and family member, whereas other trainers and behaviorists I spoke with were advising we do not treat him as a family member (i.e. no petting unless "earned," etc.). Not only is he on-time, present, and attentive at sessions, he is available outside of sessions if we have any questions or need any extra help. I would absolutely recommend Johnny to others.

We can't say enough great things about working with Johnny Jumper from Bark Busters! After extensive research on dog trainers, we chose Bark Busters, and we are so happy we did, as our purebred English Lab and our Labradane both needed professional training. From the minute Johnny walked into our home on Day 1, our pups connected with him and responded incredibly well to his training methods. Johnny was calm, very professional, and exuded so much patience while working with our pups. He also provided excellent tips to address behavioral issues we hadn't considered on our own. We love that Johnny used positive reinforcement and clear guidance that helped me, my husband, and our pups feel more confident. Bark Busters are amazing dog trainers. Johnny is so good with my dogs. He is patient and very gentle with them and with my son and I. We had no idea what we were doing and Johnny came over and taught us what we need to know to at least get started. Bark Busters is definitely worth every penny. My dogs were barking all the time before Johnny came to help us. Now they are calmer and are easier to handle overall. :-) :-) :-) :-)

Johnny is literally the best and the sweetest!! My dog had always struggled with reactivity, lunging, barking, and generally being on edge around other dogs and strangers. It was stressful for both of us and embarrassing. Barney has improved so much since the first session. Obviously, it's not perfect, but it just feels so much easier. Since the beginning, Johnny has shown us a lot of patience, which we greatly appreciate! I love how it's a one-time payment and sessions whenever available. We found Johnny looking for a dog trainer to work with our 2 German Shepherd rescues, in need of leash training due to their size/strength (90 lbs & 105 lbs) as well as in home obedience to improve their adoptability. After extensive research for a behavioral trainer with rescue dog experience, we hired Johnny based on his reviews alone! Johnny not disappoint, he far exceeded our expectations in training both GSDs, their foster parents & US! I can honestly say, with a decade of experience working with dog trainers, that Johnny is by far THE BEST! His extensive knowledge in dog psychology/ behavior & simple replicable training methods combined with his genuine love for dogs & his demeanor around them, Johnny possesses something TRULY SPECIAL that can NOT be taught. The dogs know it & seeing how they respond to his training techniques is like MAGIC happening! Our 2 GSDs both knew several commands prior to rescue, it was clear they would respond well to training but we did not expect them to light up when Johnny arrived! Both dogs completed their obedience checklist & our male GSD quickly became the King of "Place" always the 1st on his cot! Leash training to eliminate pulling was challenging at first due to their excitability of all new sights/smells as well as new found strength in recovery BUT with Johnny's persistence testing various handling gear the Figure 8 proved to the be solution. They responded so well to Johnny working with the Figure 8 lead, they were soon walking next to any handler at any pace fast or slow!! Plus, ultimately, for dog training to be successful, it is just as much training the humans to practice consistently after Johnny leaves as it is about training the dogs. That is where Johnny is in a league of his own... He is just as incredible at training the humans as the dogs! The foster mom, who has fostered close to 100 dogs & her husband were only involved with the family dogs & they had never worked with a dog trainer. After just 1 SESSION, the foster parents were not only believers in training BUT said it was life changing & are excited about practicing with ALL the dogs. The foster dad even talks about Johnny's training with everyone they know & now helps with all the foster dogs too! Our 2 GSDs are now adopted & thriving because of Johnny's training & their transferrable lifetime training contract. Johnny is now our #1 trainer of choice for all of our rescue pups. Training my dog not to bark when alone was what got me to Bark Busters. Then we transitioned to refining her listening skills. It has strengthened the bonds between my dog and I. She is more in tune with me and listens well to my commands. Overall a great decision for Davi and I.

John had a wealth of knowledge for us. We saw an improvement on the first night of training. We are so looking forward to well-behaved dogs.

We have difficult issues with our German Shepherd rescue - severe reactivity, anxiety, with some aggressive behaviors. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised how well Sage responded to the techniques Jeri showed us. Jeri was patient and kind and encouraged us to believe Sage can be a good dog. We have been using our training for less than 24 hours and she is already a different dog. We are very hopeful that this will change her behavior long-term. She can be a very sweet dog...when she isn't being bad! We very much appreciate the goal of getting rid of the chaos and bringing a peaceful environment back to our home through a simplified and positive training approach. Our two other dogs are relieved too! :- )

My family cannot thank Johnny enough for his help. We adopted a rescue dog, we were told that he got along with cats. He and our 8-year-old cat did not get along. This was stressful for us because we had to keep the pets separated. We read books and tried everything but it wasn’t working. I called Bark Busters and they set me up with Johnny. Our prayers were answered. It has only been 5 days but the cat and the dog can be in the same room without chasing each other. We still have some work to do but Johnny’s strategies are working! We do our homework everyday and we are seeing changes!! 🐶❤️🐈

I got my dog as a puppy with no experience, and she unfortunately got attacked at 3 months old by an off-leash pomeranian. After that, she became fear-reactive with all dogs and developed anxiety, even going out of the house. My sister also got a puppy from the same litter, and he started becoming protective of my dog, but turned into aggression and biting. Johnny educated us so much on dog body language and overall behavior. He helped me find ways to increase my dogs confidence and encouraged me to let her work through the fear without me coming to "rescue" her right away. He also helped us understand how to handle our aggressive dog and redirect him. He even brought his dog on one of our training sessions so our reactive dogs can practice being neutral. We have been working with Johnny for a year now my dog is confident now, her recall is amazing, and she follows my lead. My sister's dog has not bitten anyone in 9 months. He doesn't pull on his leash when walking, and it's much easier to redirect him when he's barking at someone walking past our house. I really like how Johnny gave us two different training methods for both of our dogs specific to their needs.

While I was in the process of selecting a trainer for our unruly and energetic border collie, I read many many reviews of other training programs. The reviews of Bark Buster were overwhelmingly positive and were a definite factor in my decision to choose them. Johnny the trainer came to our home personally, met our dog and sat with our family of five for an afternoon, during which time he covered a wide range of topics, including nutrition, exercise, communication and leadership. He demonstrated exercises and helped us practice techniques. We were very impressed with his manner and how our dog responded to him. I’m especially glad to know there will be follow up visits, a packet of information to refer to between training times, and a training schedule to follow daily. I cannot rate Bark busters highly enough.
