On a personal note...
I love working with dog owners. Sure, I can train your dog, but we've learned that the key to strengthening the bond between owner and dog is training you, the owner. When you become the trainer, your dog's anxieties and annoying behaviors (nuisance barking, jumping on visitors, peeing/pooping in the house, pulling on leash, running out the front door, growling at other dogs, not coming when called, and so forth) are discarded. What remains is a well-adjusted and responsive member of your pack (family); in short, a dog very comfortable in your home. For me, the rewards as your trainer are quite special. I love the work I do - it is very rewarding to see the amazement and joy on my client's faces when they observe an instant improvement in their dog's behavior, and realize a new sense of balance and harmony in their home.
The Bark Busters method was developed with both dogs and humans in mind. It needed to be quick or humans wouldn't "find the time" to follow through. It needed to be simple and speak to the dog's language, as contrary to popular belief, they don't really understand human languages. Finally, it needed to be effective, as our mission is to keep dogs with their families and not end up at shelters. And that's how our system works - we train the client to speak the dog's language in only two hours in a comfortable environment ... your home.
