There are no words to describe how thankful I am for Pam and the Bark Busters organization. I have a 2 year old GSD named Kai that was very reactive to other animals and people. This is the first dog I have owned & had no experience in raising a GSD. Pam has totally transformed our lives for good. Her knowledge, kindness, patience, and capabilities to truly understand a dog's behavior has helped us develop a special bond and trusting foundation between all members of our household. She has been the best coach and is always available to provide additional guidance. There have been tremendous improvements in Kai’s behavior and I am so excited to continue implementing the tools Pam has taught us. She is truly a gift! Permalink

Our Ginger is doing so good! Life with our hyper blue healer mix puppy is improving daily! We are both working on all we learned from you everyday. No more accidents! The lavender spray worked! Pam is truly Amazing with animals. She has an innate ability to understand and bring out the best in any pet. She knows how to put both a pet and its owner at ease when dealing with a stressful situation. She truly helped me bond with my pet more so than ever before. Permalink

I've had dogs my entire life and thought I was a great "pack leader" until I adopted Lupe and Rosa. I was ready to throw in the towel after 3 years of trying what I knew and what I could find online. Then I stumbled upon Pam Kars at Bark Busters. I was hesistant to sign up at first, but I needed to do something. My first session was 3 hours! Pam laid out everything we were going to work on and why, explaining how my dogs see me and their psychology. I was hoping for some instruction and some long hard practice with them afterward before I'd see anything noticeable. Boy was I wrong! Just that day alone was a significant transformation in my dogs and how they behaved. I could now walk them AND enjoy it!. Pam was there to check in and coach and support me every week and a follow up visit after 4 weeks was awesome. She coached me on something I wasn't quite doing correctly and what a difference that made. Pam is there to support me and answer questions and even come back for a visit to give hands on training. I am still on this journey, but the transformation has been nothing short of phenomenal. There's no need to go anywhere else for training and the money is well worth it, you even get lifetime support, even if you move! Permalink

All it took was one lesson with Pam and my horribly behaved dogs(Steve and Tony) were like brand new dogs. They used to jump all over me, bark at everything and everyone that went by in the window, they used to pull me down the street on the leash and now those are all behaviors of the past. It’s like I got two brand new dogs out of this and the methods they used were so dog friendly. Nothing that hurts or scares the dog. Money very well spent and I would recommend Bark Busters to anyone who needs help with their dog or dogs. Permalink

We live in an apartment and my neighbor's were complaining about my dog's barking. We also have a small dog park and Barney was somewhat aggressive around the other dogs. Pam stepped in and helped me understand Barney's thought process and what to do to make him feel safe and comfortable, whether he’s home alone, in his crate, or even going for a walk. We spent a few hours together and touched base a few times afterwards. The differences in Barney’s behavior changed overnight. From there it was a matter of me being consistent with the training. Not only does Pamela have a natural born ability to work with dogs, she has a good dog training method behind her. I was desperate to stop behaviors that I had tried for almost 2 years to change. Pam had our boy listening to me on the first visit. We have talked to Pam as I slacked off and needed reinforcement and adjustments along the way and she's super responsive and caring. She spends the time we need to channel the energy we couldn't control into a happier dog and happier family. It's crazy how quickly what she teaches works. No more barking, jumping, aggression, leash reactivity and more. I highly recommend Pam. Permalink

How could I resist those adorable eyes? OK. My dog was spoiled. Pam taught me how to lovingly get my point across to my puppy without losing her personality! Jenny is a goldendoodle who was spunky, barking, nipping and chewing on everything in sight. Did I mention she wouldn't come when called? I liked that Bark Busters uses all positive methods based on natural canine communication. Jen and I are doing great! Permalink

Pam is a gem and I'm not sure what we would have done without her. My German Shepherd was out of control and starting to show aggression towards other dogs and strangers. He nipped but never bit. It got to the point where I didn't want to take him on a walk or have people over out of fear. Enter Pam and within two hours, there was a HUGE difference in my dog. I like the fact that the training is positive -- no prong or shock collars. It's really about training me versus my dog, so Pilot understands what I want. As I have been consistent, Pilot's behavior has improved. We are no longer prisoners in our own home. Permalink
