He was knowledgeable and dedicated to helping our Newfoundland overcome some fears, specifically with unfamiliar flooring and elevators. Greg is a godsend! My husband and I have lived 11 years without being able to have company over our house and could not bring our dogs around many people or other dogs due to anxiety issues. We are in the process of moving and needed our dog, Callie (other crossed the rainbow bridge) to be able to get along with our in laws’ dog, Lexi, so we can all live in peace during the life changes. We were all honestly on edge and nervous every time we would get the dogs together because Callie would become very protective and territorial over me and my son and would bark and that’s at Lexi. After just ONE session with Greg, he was able to explain to us Callie’s thought process and things we may have been lacking in as far as taking control of situations to make her feel at ease. He provided all of us with his Bark Busters method and the tools to mold our girls into the best they can be, and most importantly, to make them feel calm and safe. Callie responded to his method immediately and only got better and better the weeks after our first session. We had our follow up with Greg this week and even he was blown away by the progress and we were all thrilled to see our hard work pay off and see our two girls side by side and getting along! Greg is a GAME CHANGER. If you are on the fence, get over that fence immediately because we wish we could have found him 11 years ago but so grateful that we finally did. Greg is truly a phenomenal and a master of his craft. We were at rock bottom and completely desperate. We’ve been struggling with our 2.5 year old pup’s severe separation anxiety for almost two years. Feeling like a prisoner in our own home and spending lots of money on dog watchers. We’ve struggled even more recently with sporadic aggression towards new people entering our home. This came out of the blue; but, quite terrifying as our dog is a 70 pound big boy. Greg came in and sure enough Beau was aggressive towards him. Greg gave us some training tools to help control and calm Beau down. He left and came back and we were able to do just that. We continued these tools on our own and with all visitors people Beau knew already as well as strangers. And it was going great. Sure enough by Greg’s second visit we had no aggression towards Greg and a perfect introduction. Along with his aggression improving, Beaus separation anxiety is also greatly improving. Greg not only taught us training tools but explained the way dogs think and how we need to understand this in order to see results. I cannot recommend Greg enough! He is so supportive and knowledgeable both in person and via text message in between sessions. Bark Busters & Greg are changing all of our lives for the better.
NO WORDS can express our heartfelt gratitude for the GIFT of working with Greg Kleva and his team (11 yrs ago ). - I wanted to share the long-term review here. Our dog was an abused rescue and he was skittish. This was our first dog as well. Greg was the BEST choice EVER, and I swear if it wasn’t for Greg’s calm and commanding nature, he established immediate respect from Rebel. And he taught us how to continue.
Through MANY trials over the first 4 years of our pup's life, Greg used humor and firmness with both us and our dog, to get our dog to respect us, making us the Alpha. I had 2 other teachers from a local obedience class tell me my dog would end up in a shelter because he was untrainable. ENTER GREG Kleva BARKBUSTERS (recommended by our vet). He thought those comments were ridiculous that in fact EVERY DOG of any age can be trained.
Our vet said we saved Rebel's life twice due to Greg’s training. Rebel is honestly a great dog, due in large part to having a great trainer. I had referred Barkbusters several times through the years, and those dogs are ALL doing equally great.
There are trainers and there is GREG and his amazing team . I can't recommend them enough- their text/email support, their availability, all totally worth every penny. We get nonstop praise for HOW well-trained our dog is! The key is you need to listen AND IMPLEMENT all Greg says! We can't thank Greg enough for the incredible work he's done with our two female huskies, Luna and Nova. We were struggling with some serious sibling rivalry and Nova's possessiveness and resource guarding, which was becoming a real challenge not just with Luna, but with our family as well. Multiple dog trainers recommended rehoming Nova. Things were getting worse, until Greg stepped in. From the very first session, he had a clear plan and approach that made a huge difference. His calm and patient methods helped Nova feel more secure and reduced the guarding behavior, and her interactions with her sister Luna improved greatly. Our home is finally becoming peaceful again, and we’ve seen remarkable changes in both of our dogs. Greg is amazing at what he does, and we’re beyond grateful for his help! Highly recommend!
Potcakes are very shy and fearful in general. Fear aggression was our issue (with strangers coming into the
house). Greg from Bark Busters was one of THE BEST trainers we’ve ever had. His techniques worked instantly. I am so thankful we hired Greg because we love our dogs and we’re scared that Hazel would bite a stranger out of fear and we would be forced to put her down. Our puppy Walter is 14 months old. We have 4 children, safety is our paramount concern. A couple months ago Walter began taking his spot in the family pecking order. Walter was selectively submissive to two members of our family, conversely Walter was dominant to everyone else. Walters dominance began to cause anxiousness which started to make us question if Walter was right for our home. We called Greg and had one session, the strategies that Greg helped us apply to Walters behavior has yielded immediate improvement. Greg’s training methods have transferred confidence back to our household which is resulting in less anxiety and a better environment for Walter. Everyone in our home is now able to enjoy the company of our great dog. Equally important Walter is now feeding off of our confidence as Dog owners and is again enjoying our home.

Greg Kleva is truly amazing! Kind, patient, professional, reliable, and so very knowledgeable! After our first training session our four legged family member was doing so well with no longer lunging at some dogs. We are beyond thrilled! Greg always makes himself readily available for questions or sessions and always responds in a timely manner. We are so very happy!
My 1.5 year old Shepherd mix Apollo had his first training session with Greg on Saturday and we already see a huge difference! Apollo is a super energetic pup who often has a mind of his own and Greg was able to teach us to speak his own language to better predict his behaviors and pull back his energy a bit. Apollo no longer rushes guests when they come to the door, and finally understands personal space. We are so excited to continue working with Greg to start some leash training with Apollo next session and cannot begin to say how thankful we are for him as a trainer, he truly is amazing with our pup!
