Claudia and I were looking for a professional to help us with our new family member, Mattie, a 4 year old Yorkie.
She is a wonderful addition to our family and, as I hadn't had a dog for the past 40 years and Claudia has never had the opportunity to have a pet, we needed some professional help.
We ran across Bob from Bark Busters who had incredible reviews from the people he has helped, and we have to add our praise as well.
Bob is very patient, knowledgeable, and we couldn't be more pleased with the help he provided us.
Maddie is a very good girl, but Bob helped us understand her behavior and, even more importantly, how our actions and reactions to her could provide a much more enjoyable and meaningful relationship.
We unconditionally recommend Bob who helped Maddie become a more trusting and loving member of our family and, perhaps more importantly, make us better parents.
If you have similar need to ours, you need to look no further than Bob.
Finally! Answers to our prayers! Our family has a 13yo pit mix rescue and a 1yo American Akita. The Akita has typical Akita traits and we knew with another 30lbs left to pack on, we needed to get ourselves in shape with his training. In the process, Bob focused mainly on our Akita (as he needed the training much more) but our pit mix followed right along without hesitation… with nearly 13yrs of the same habits, they ceased within an hour. ? Bob is amazing at what he does and truly worth every penny! In just 2 hours, we had more obedient and respectful fur babies! We were blown away with just the responsiveness of the first exercise and it just got better and better with each new exercise. Our jaws were on the floor and now I’m ready to brag even more about how well behaved, mannered, and attentive my Akita is! This is only from a 2hr training! I can’t wait to see the progress in a few short weeks and can’t wait to continue tomorrow- even my kids are in awe at the change and eager to help train! Akitas tend to have a bad reputation but like any dog, training is absolutely a must. I believe if owners have the right tools to train their pups, less would in the shelters. They need a calm and consistent leader and with Bob’s training techniques that is exactly who you will become. Bob breaks down the whys and how-tos of everything. His techniques are simple and effective- no need to complicate things. Thank you, Bob!! You have truly given us a gift!
Our first session with Bob went beyond expectations and already the dog is understanding what behaviors are not acceptable. We worked on resource guarding, rushing/barking at front door visitors, and leash training with impressive results already and looking forward to practicing every day!
We have been LONG time customers of Bark Busters and would highly recommend them and specifically Bob! We have three Bernese Mountain Dogs. We joined Bark Busters 9 years ago with our adult, and then just needed a little refresher when we got two new puppies in January. All we needed was a reminder of all the wonderful techniques that literally changed our dogs' behavior overnight! We went from a house with stressful barking and dominating to quiet obedience in literally less than 24 hours. I used to be pulled down the street trying as hard as I could to hold the two puppies back and now they walk perfectly at my side with all the loose extra leash in my hand. And no more barking at friends who come to our home! It's hard to believe but absolutely possible with Bob and Bark Busters! So worth it for the peace it brought to our home!
Bob was amazing with my husband and I! He gave us all the necessary tools to train our rescue pup to provide her (and US!) with a much better day-to-day life. She had a rough puppy life and we got her after the trauma had been done. So we're having to "reset" her if you will. Bob guided us in the right direction and we started seeing results immediately. I was shocked at the way she was responding to certain things. I look forward to continuing on this journey and love the fact that I can still call upon Bob if I need him!! I would definitely recommend him!
We have a dog who we found wandering the streets so did not know much about him prior to have us finding him! He is more aggressive and over powering than our smaller dog and also goes crazy when someone rings door bell. He also pulls hard on walks and over powers myself and my smaller dog. I knew I needed some help! Bob was amazing at what he showed me within just a couple hours I could really tell a huge difference in my house. I look forward to continuing to use all the tools Bob provided at our meeting! Thank you!!
My husband and I rescued Harley about a month ago from a shelter.
We have an 12 year old lab and Harley is 1 year Pitbull/lab. Harley barks when someone is walking down the street, barks and runs to the door whenever someone rings the doorbell or knocks. She pulls me when I walk her on the leash and tries to overpower my older dog. She is very strong and I knew I needed to do something. Bob was amazing within the few hours he showed us the techniques and tools to speak to our dog.
We instantly seen great results with Harley and would recommend Bob to everyone.
I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings. Thank You Bob for giving us the tools for a happy home.

Bob was great with Luca. I was skeptical because Luca is such dominant dog but Bob was able to show us how to turn this around with immediate results!

Bob was amazing! We saw an immediate difference in our dog. As a result of our 1st session, we are equipped with the knowledge to train our dog.
