Basahhhh! We now speak dog! Thanks so much to Scott for helping us with Penny’s issues. In just a short amount of time we became head of the house instead of her. We highly recommend Scott and his methods of training!

Photo of Penny Baahhh! Scott taught us to speak “dog”. We were amazed at how fast she learned that she was no longer in charge of the house. We were so impressed with Scott and how patient he was with us. Highly recommend!

Photo of Lola We have had the pleasure of working with Scott for our dog, Lola, and the experience has been nothing short of amazing! Despite only having met with Scott twice, the results have been incredible. Scott not only focused on training Lola but also emphasized the importance of training us as owners to interact with her effectively. Lola can be quite reactive which was making us nervous about having people over or bringing her in public. Scott explained how changing our interactions with her could help her feel more at ease and trust that everything is under control.

One of the most impressive moments was when Scott showed us a technique to stop Lola from pulling on her leash. Within just five minutes, she was listening and walking beautifully. It's important to note that this isn't a magic bullet; it does require effort and consistency. However, the techniques Scott taught us make perfect sense, and the progress we've seen after just two sessions and about a month and a half has been remarkable.

We truly appreciate Scott's expertise and guidance. His approach has made a significant difference in our lives and Lola's behavior. We highly recommend Scott to anyone looking for a skilled and knowledgeable dog trainer.

Scott seems to know exactly how our puppy Hazel operates. She becomes a totally obedient girl with his methods, despite her crazy Lab puppy energy. The walking and leash training has helped us exponentially. I can walk Hazel myself without feeling like I can’t control her. Scott always comes with new ideas when I feel like Hazel isn’t responding to me. I am looking forward to watching all the progress she continues to make (because she still is a crazy lab puppy).

Photo of Luna My trainer, Scott, was incredible! He took the time to listen to all my concerns and explained his training technique very clearly. We practiced these training methods on our first meeting and my dog, Luna, did fantastic! She was like a different dog. I already feel so excited for my dog and our relationship going forward. It has always been stressful to take her outside because she can be reactive towards other dogs. I avoid having people over to my home because Luna will jump on guests and misbehave. We made huge strides in such a short amount of time. I am excited to continue working with Scott and my dog to further reinforce these new skills. It gives me such hope for the future! Highly recommend!

I was feeling a hopeless about my dogs behavior and had no idea how to correct it. Scott helped me understand my dogs language and how to communicate with him. He had me in tears seeing the progress my fur baby made within an hour! I am looking forward to a better relationship with my dog!

I have been having reactivity issues with my shepherd mix Gizmo that have been worsening for the last few months. I have tried another dog training company in Denver in the past who came to my house and tried to sell me expensive e-collars and prong collars, without actually helping my dog's behavior. So, I was hesitant to spend money for another dog trainer, but Scott and BarkBusters has been worth every penny! What I love about Scott's approach is he teaches you how to communicate with your dog, and how to understand your dog's behavior so you can correct it. He has helped me build a new relationship with Gizmo, one in which he respects, trusts, and listens to me. The training tools that Scott provides (at no extra cost) are simple, easy to use, and cruelty free. After even just ONE session with Scott I could already see a change in Gizmo! Any dog parent of a reactive dog knows how difficult it is and how much anxiety it can produce (for both you and your pup), and for the first time in months I felt hopeful that change would actually be possible. So far Gizmo has made amazing strides with the help of Scott - he no longer leash pulls, he no longer has ball aggression, he doesn't bark when he hears a knock on the door, and his reactivity towards dogs on walks has significantly decreased. It is because he doesn't feel the need to be scared or protective, since he now views me as the pack leader when previously it was the other way around. I have a totally new understanding of relationship dynamics and dog behavior, which has been the key to having successful results so quickly. I am eternally grateful to Scott for what he's done for Gizmo and I, and it is so awesome knowing that if I ever need anything he is just a phone call away and will come for follow-up visits as needed for life!

Review from our dog.... "Hi, my name is Mister Breakfast and my life, is kinda crazy. I'm a 100lbs XL American Bully and at only 1 year old, I have no idea how big I really am. While I love to snuggle and slobber, I also love barking at humans and dogs that walk by our fence. On top of that, I don't really have any sense of personal space when my humans have friends over and often times when my humans take me on walks, I tend to be a little protective of them. Scott visited our home and helped me learn that my humans are in control and I should take my que's from them. Scott taught my humans a few techniques to help me feel more comfortable with passerby's, ways to control my excitement when friends come to visit, and most recently how to stay calm, collected, and submissive during our neighborhood walks. Now that we've moved to Glenwood Springs, my humans can call Scott over the phone and they even use some futuristic communication magic that makes Scott's face show up on my humans handheld box thingy's. I love working with Scott because he teaches my humans how to communicate with me so that I can be the bestest boy ever. Thanks Scott and Bark Busters!!!"

Photo of Bokhee Scott is a miracle worker! Our dog has unlimited energy, likes to jump on anyone that walks through the door and was a terrible walker. Within literally minutes, Scott put an end to all of that! Well worth the investment.

Scott Schwab at Bark Busters has our little guy back on track! After only a week, we are seeing drastic improvement with our dog, Alfie, a Havanese who has always struggled with anxiety, leash aggression, and incessant barking. Now Alfie follows commands, stops barking when we ask him to, and best part, he is walking like a champ. We're no longer embarrassed to walk him down our street and past other dogs. We are very happy with Alfie's progress so far, and we can't wait to see where he is in another week or two. It's really working!
