I can’t recommend Bark Busters enough. Jeri was absolutely incredible — knowledgeable, kind, and so patient. Within just a few hours, I saw a total transformation in my dog’s behavior. The constant barking, reactivity, and anxiety started to melt away as soon as I learned how to communicate in a way my dog actually understood.
What impressed me most was how simple and effective the techniques were — no harsh methods, just clear communication and calm leadership. Jeri took the time to explain everything and made sure I felt confident practicing on my own. She even left me with helpful materials and follow-up support so I could keep building on what we learned.
My dog is now so much more relaxed and responsive, and our bond feels stronger than ever. I’m beyond grateful for Jeri and Bark Busters — this training has truly changed our lives! 🐾💛
Jeri was clear with her directions and outcomes. She was patient and knowledgeable. It was a pleasant experience and she helped make training seem manageable and possible.
She had our two dogs already improving their behavior within the first few minutes of our hands on portion of the lesson.
Kodhi is a very sweet 2 year old who thinks everyone, humans and other dogs, enjoy being jumped on and barked at. Goal is to quit jumping on people and to stop barking when instructed to do so and to come when called. Jeri was extremely helpful and explained things very well. I have already seen some improvement in Kodhi’s willingness to listen and respond appropriately and look forward to working with Jeri in the future.
Our most urgent need was to have her aggressive possessive issues handled. We worked with angie after Jeri left and for the most part she would let go of the item she wanted with the Bah and come come come method. Only sometimes she would ignore us but with practice I feel that the rare occasions will be less and less.
I really enjoyed meeting jeri today, she was very informative to me. I even seen a difference in my Murphy, with focus breakers, he seems to understand. he's walking better with me with the leash. I had him out twice already since you left. I'm going to do my best to keep it up. And hopefully I will have a happy and loving little puppy to keep a lonely old lady company. Thank you again.
Jeri helped us understand the difference between bribing our dogs with treats and teaching them to do what we ask them to do. The time she spent with us--and then with our dogs--was informative and eye-opening. We believe that we learned a lot, and that we will be much better dog parents. We had become very frustrated trying to figure out how to teach Wily to focus on us instead of other prople and dogs when we're walking. Jeri gave us strategies and practices to help us help both our dogs. It was a great day!
The first lesson with Jeri outlined the training process and established responsibility for using the bark buster technique for modifying dog behavior. After just one lesson I could see improvement in my puppy’s behavior. Some of my dog’s behavior will be difficult to modify because of physical limitations, but I’m confident in the long run that consistently using the program will yield the desired result. The first lesson presents a lot of information, but it all made a lot of sense and now it’s a matter of execution.

My 10 month old Shiba mix has some bad habits. Even though I've always had dogs, he has a big different personality. Hubie basically had control over me. Jeri was amazing during our first lesson. I felt like I was back in school due to the training course Jeri had planned with me. It was great to learn new ways to ensure I was the pack leader. After only 24 hours, my pup, was really starting to pick up on my body language and commands. I'm looking forward to continuing to work woth Jeri for the duration of Hubies life! A huge thank you for opening my mind to new learnings for me and my pup!
Recently we took in a rehomed dog (who is a love), but there have been issues with aggression between a couple of my dogs. We have been at our wits end trying to manage the situation. We were referred to Jeri and BarkBusters. The response back was very quick and Jeri worked with us to schedule quickly. Jeri spent 4+ hours with us teaching us about the dogs behavior and how we need to be the leader. We learned many training exercises and started seeing successes while Jeri was with us. We are looking forward to working with Jeri as our training progresses and having a peaceful home with our dogs.
