Kyle has been absolutely wonderful with reassuring me & retraining me to be assertive as the pack leader. I have a reactive dog that can growl or lunge with dogs or people on walks (out of fear). Before calling bark busters I did not know what to do other than avoid everything and everyone. My dog is now making great strides in not only her reactiveness but also in listening to me, not pulling my arm off to get outside for a walk and barking at outside noise.
PermalinkKyle is very positive, personable, efficient and gives clear directions. He teaches you how to read your dogs body language and how to communicate in a way your dog will understand. More to that, how your actions can be directly tied to their behavior- it’s training for you and your dog... It really is mind opening seeing your relationship from a different perspective. Kyle has a wealth of knowledge and it truly has made all the difference for me. It is a real struggle having a dog that cuddles you but is scared of strangers and other dogs. You and your dog can be happier and more confident. It seems like an impossible ask but help is out there! If you have a similar dog, I cannot recommend Kyle & his training style enough. You can become the leader your dog needs. 10/10 stars! My schnauzer is able to walk alongside a family members dog now and enjoy herself. Baby steps, but a month ago I’d never have thought this was possible.

Theresa came for our first visit today and it was a great experience. I was extremely nervous because I know there are things I’m doing that are causing the problem, but once I met Theresa all the nervousness went away. She was very understanding and informative. She made sure we were comfortable and understood what our plan was going to be. I have 2 dogs one of which is extremely fearful due to past trauma. Theresa did a great job explaining to us how she was calming that fear through body language. Theresa spent 3 hours working with us and we definitely learned a lot. We are excited to see the improvements she is helping us make in our household.

Session was great. Really enjoyed all the tips and how in-depth John went into explaining correction methods. After the session I feel very prepared and excited to continue training the dogs with what I learned today.

Absolutely life changing!! Being able to understand why are dogs were barking so much and behaving they way they did, and then be able to communicate in an effective manner to them was incredible. We didn’t realize how stressed our dogs were until Ryanne, and the BarkBusters curriculum, showed us that happy dogs are mellow and submissive… not barking and jumping. It’s like we have completely different animals. We were at the point of shock collars and locking them away, which was not effective in anyway in stopping the behavior it just gave us a break from it, and now we see a whole new side of our dogs and love them even more!! Knowing we have the Barkbuster team for our dogs whole life is so reassuring for the well being of my animals and family.

John has been great! His training techniques, work with both our dogs, and with us is top notch. It's just been a few weeks and we are already seeing positive changes in our dogs.
