We recently had my daughter's dog move back in with us after he was a little aggressive with her landlord. He had lived with us before for months and was getting increasing aggressive with dogs, bikes, and sometimes people. We don't have a fenced yard and walk him several times a day. This became an anxiety riddled experience as we did know what he would do if we encountered dogs or people. Ben Miller came over to train him almost a week ago. The methods that he taught us had an immediate impact. We've been practicing every day and I can 100% confirm that these methods work! The dog has completely changed. Our walks are pleasant, he is happy and almost non-reactive to other dogs and people! I cannot recommend this highly enough! If you have issues with your dog don't give up! Call Ben!

Ben did a great job educating our family on how to communicate better with our dog Cinnamon. He walked us through the steps with Cinnamon and we were amazed at how responsive Cinnamon was. We continue to practice and Cinnamon is doing well with the training. Our dog who would normally run to the window/ door to bark at people or other dogs walking in front of our home stayed quiet, stayed at the top of the stairs without running to the door while watching 3 dogs being walked after utilizing Ben’s strategy this morning.

We are so thankful for Bark Busters Mid MD!
PermalinkWhen we first called Bark Busters, we were at the end of our rope with our Bluetick Coonhound rescue. He had a lot of things to work on. We saw a real change in our dog’s behavior and responsiveness to us after the first training session alone! Ben is always open and honest with us and for that, we do really trust him. Ben equipped us with the skills to continue to train our dog on our own, but has continue to be available to talk and give advice as necessary. We have made tremendous progress and after 3 lessons together are just amazed.
Thank you Ben and Kelly

My dog is very reactive and gets startled at any little noise in my house, especially with the mail man or anyone coming near the door. She also gets triggered by certain people and other dogs outside on walks. Dalila taught me so much about my dog, most importantly, how to read her body language and get her attention when she gets distracted. Training has definitely been a work in progress but I now feel a lot better handling her indoors and more equipped to deal with stressful situations outdoors. Thank you Dalila!!!

We worked on claiming space and I saw a remarkable difference in Theo's behavior using the techniques provided. Rob used common sense approaches and calm words but taught us to be in control of our space and dog. Looking forward to more progress.

Mr. Ben is knowledgeable, professional, and patient with me so he could understand my concerns. That is what I needed for my precious dog. I have no doubt that my dog will reach her goals soon. Thank you Ben.

Marc provided very thorough training, emphasizing on issues I brought to his attention. It was remarkable to see how quickly my Chihuahua mixed behavior radically changed.

This session opened our eyes to understand our dogs’ behavior and to implement corrective measures that our dogs understand, too. We saw an immediate change by the time the session was over. Our dogs are more settled now. We haven’t experienced the barking the dogs were doing after this first session. We are amazed!

If not for Evan, we would have had to take our dog to the shelter. We live in an apartment and the neighbors were complaining about Berkeley's incessant barking while we were at work. Additionally, our complex has a dog park, and Berkeley was very reactive to the other dogs. I didn't think it was possible, but I saw a major difference in my dog in the first lesson. Evan gave me the tools to be a better owner so my dog would love and respect me. Don't wait and put up with annoying behaviors. Call Evan!

Pam is a gem and I'm not sure what we would have done without her. My German Shepherd was out of control and starting to show aggression towards other dogs and strangers. He nipped but never bit. It got to the point where I didn't want to take him on a walk or have people over out of fear. Enter Pam and within two hours, there was a HUGE difference in my dog. I like the fact that the training is positive -- no prong or shock collars. It's really about training me versus my dog, so Pilot understands what I want. As I have been consistent, Pilot's behavior has improved. We are no longer prisoners in our own home.
