We were so pleased with our time with Ruth! She gave us some great tips and was so encouraging. Colt is a pit bull living with three golden retrievers who are best of friends. He stays to himself most of the time but when they are in a group he can sometimes get aggressive. Ruth taught us to say “easy” to the goldens which calms Colt down from the activity and let’s him know he is not threatened. We are seeing results from this!
I highly recommend Ruth to train your dog.

    Thank you Claire ~
Glad to hear that things are going well. Colt is a beautiful dog and he just needs your
reassurance when the energy level increases with your three beautiful Goldens!!

Saylor is a really great pup and she responded very well in our first session. We are working on introducing her to other dogs and also how she responds to her mom when she is around other dogs. Really looking forward to seeing how she progresses in the next couple weeks.

Patrick is a miracle worker. As he explains it, he's just communicating with Dexter, my dog, in Dexter's own language. What astounds me is how instantaneously my dog responded to the new cues and rules. It was within 20 minutes that he figured out the new doorbell etiquette (which is wild considering his old reaction when the door bell would go off). Now Dexter goes to his designated spot far away from the door when I open the front door. I initially called Patrick for help with walking on the leash when other dogs are present. We've made huge strides in the walking department which has made our daily walks so much less stressful. We've managed to completely change Dexter's response to the door bell, the pool man, USPS and even his fear/barking when people are in the pool. It's really about daily consistency and using the resources that Patrick provides. Patrick is easy to get ahold of and quick to response to emails and inquiries. It has been amazing to watch my relationship with my dog transform. I just wish I saved myself the stress and did this sooner. Absolutely worth it!

Photo of Gnocchi We adopted our Naughty Gnocchi in August, and he immediately showed us fear aggression, separation anxiety...the gamut. Adrienne's help has made DRASTIC improvements in our and Gnocchi's lives. He's no longer afraid of meeting new people or dogs, he walks next/behind us on walks, he doesn't have separation anxiety accidents...he's like a whole different dog. The shelter behaviorist AND the vet told us we should probably have to put him down, but after two training sessions with Adrienne, our little Gnocchi is on his way to being a gentleman. Seriously, we owe his life to Bark Busters. I cannot say enough about the drastically positive influence this training has had on us as dog owners and our pup. Thank you so much!

    Trainer Note:
Tink has been really stressed out being on guard all the time in the home. She is now starting to relax that mom is taking charge of the home. She is starting to learn how to be calm when seeing dogs on walks. I will be hearing an update from her in the coming weeks and we will be progressing with her training.

Adrienne was fantastic! I adopted a 3 year old shepherd mix and he came with a history of aggression (explained to me as leash/dog reactivity). Within a few days of adopting him, he exhibited some other signs of aggression that concerned me. I contacted Adrienne/Barkbusters and she worked me in to her schedule almost immediately. Toby quickly responded to her techniques, and in a matter of hours, I had a far better behaved dog. It was amazing! It is clear I need to work on my "leadership" skills so my dog sees me more as the leader, but Adrienne provided me the tools, the knowhow, and helpful explanations so that I can be the leader my dog needs me to be! Adrienne is a confident, compassionate, patient, and effective trainer - I would highly recommend her.
