I can finally have family and friends come over without my dogs going crazy. My nephew and friends stopped coming over because my dogs would go crazy, barking and jumping up on them. I had people tell me I have little dogs and that’s just how they are. Put them in a crate and get them a collar to buzz and beep to correct that behavior. That’s all you can do. Pascha showed me different. Pascha was amazing. He explained things clearly, and was very professional. He followed up with me and I let him know how things were progressing. The one dog trying to attack the washing machine and vacuum cleaner, done. The bad crazy behaviors are gone. Things are so much nicer now, thanks to Pascha

Photo of Tufa For those familiar with TAP’s work rescuing dogs from ESLR in Ensenada, Tufa is an ESLR survivor. This means she spent several years of her life in an unsanitary, unhealthy and dangerous environment where she lacked safe personal space. We adopted her in Dec 2023 and since the very beginning she’s been incredibly sweet and loving at home, but she had some work to do on her reactive and protective behaviors toward people and dogs. It seemed that as she got more comfortable in her new home she began to increase her protectiveness, which is completely understandable!

In her first few months, we completed a 6-week series of group trainings and a few 1:1s which worked on improving obedience but wasn’t providing the tools we needed to address real world situations when another dog or person would approach us or enter our home. So I found Bark Busters online and was able to set up an appointment with Justin. That was all it really took to change everything.

In our first appointment we learned how to communicate with Tufa in a way where she realized we were in charge at all times. We also were given new handing tools that immediately stopped her pulling on walks and allowed us to give her clear signals to prevent and stop reactivity. Within days her improvement was very noticeable, within weeks she was a completely different dog outside in the world! She is now showing everyone what a sweet dog she can be and is approaching all situations with joy and curiosity, rather than fear. Thank you, Justin!

Photo of Scout and Cooper Luis took care of all of our issues with my dogs. He made sure that we understood how to work with the dogs. I was very happy the first time I walked them alone. It was so nice not to have to run while being pulled.

Just with one visit, we are already seeing signs of improvement in our household! We can't wait to see the whole process complete. Bonnie is very knowledgeable and explains the training process so well and made sure all of our concerns and questions were answered before she left with a clear plan and lots of background information.

Pam has been an absolutely wonderful guide! Helping us learn our dog and how dogs work/act on a base level and working hard to ensure everything is needed for our pup and us! Our dog was running our home, and she helped us establish the groundwork needed for us to have our pup listen and control unwanted behaviors!

Bill and Holly are wonderful trainers. We came to them because our dog, Rosie, was fearful and aggressive toward other animals. They helped us manage Rosie’s behavior with a gentle and effective approach. It’s such a relief to see Rosie calm and well-adjusted now. We’re so grateful!

Thank you so much for the kind words! We’re so happy to hear that Rosie is doing better and feeling more comfortable. It’s been a pleasure working with you both, and we’re grateful for the trust you placed in us. Seeing Rosie calm and well-adjusted is such a rewarding outcome, and we couldn’t be happier for her (and for you!). Keep up the great work, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you ever need anything.
