I was at my wits' end with my rescue dog Luckie. I got him during Covid, and he was my first dog. Over the three years that I've had him, his behavior had gotten increasingly worse. He barked non-stop, didn't like anyone getting near me, and was no fun to walk as he peed every second. I wasn't sure I could keep him, as he was really impacting my life, and this broke my heart.
PermalinkMy first meeting with Kevin literally changed my life. All his teachings were about me using my voice and showing I'm in control. I could not believe the changes in my dog I saw from one visit! Kevin checks in with me and is available through text. He has come a few more times to check on us and further our education.
I cannot recommend this company more. I had seen other trainers, and no one has had such a long-lasting impact as Kevin and Bark Busters. Honestly, the best money ever spent.

Kevin is amazing. I have a shelter dog that I have had for 2 years. She is very reactive to men and other dogs and could not stay alone for any amount of time. I came home multiple times to my carpet being completely torn up so I knew I had to call someone to help train her. I didn't want her to be so anxious to be alone even for a short period of time.
PermalinkCustomer service was amazing from when I called. They explained everything to me, answered all my questions, and listened to all my concerns. They paired me with Kevin. I was nervous at first that I was paired with a male trainer as my dog does not like men but they said that's exactly why they are doing it. My dog can be skiddish but Kevin gives her space and time while guiding me on what to do. Within 5 mins she comes up to him and is good to go. I see Kevin once a month - sometimes more depending on whether I would like one. He is very communicative on text and we stay in contact throughout the time inbetween sessions so that he can tell me anything I need to change or update.
It has only been 4 months and Kevin has checked off so many things on my list. Here are some...
- my dog does not bark at the door when someone walks by, rings the bell, or comes in
- my dog can stay alone for a couple hours calmly and fall asleep
- my dog is crate trained and can be in her crate that's in the room by herself
- my dog does not pull and walks beside me
- my dog is not reactive to other dogs when on walks
- my dog goes in and out of doors only when I say ""ok""
- my dog listens to her commands - sit, stay, inside, drop it, wait, leave it, etc
- my dog is constantly looking at me to listen
I am also moving from LA to Australia and he is helping me train my dog to be comfortable in her crate for a 16hr flight. She's already doing so well in her crate. She used to escape from her old crate because of how panicked she was and now she goes in there on her own to sleep.
My dog and I have become a lot closer because of this training. My main reason for the training was that I didn't want her to be anxious all the time and Kevin has definitely helped her to feel comfortable and secure.
Thank you so much Kevin! You have made a huge difference in our lives! I truly appreciate it.

Bark Busters is a great find! $1595 for unlimited sessions for your dogs lifetime ($200 for additional dog). Definitely the cheapest dog training I've found out there. Apparently their business is in 3 different countries so you'll still be able to continue the training if you move someplace else.
PermalinkStephanie is a wonderful trainer with Bark Buster. During our initial meeting, she explained my dogs' behaviors clearly and how I could address them better so they understand. I wasn't expecting such fast results, but my walk with them the next morning was unbelievable. For context, I have a 3 y/o M Doberman/Husky (neutered) with attention seeking & hyperactive issues. He's aggressive with other dogs & people on walks, and pulls hard on the leash. My other dog is a 2 y/o M Malitpoo (neutered) who barks at everything inside & outside the house. For the first time ever, using the tools & tips from Stephanie, my D/H was looking at me & walking by my side the entire time. We came up on 3 individuals with big dogs on separate occasions , but my dogs actually listened to me to sit and they just stared at me as the dogs passed them. although they saw the other dogs, they remained calm (no tensed bodies & pointy hair) and didn't bark.
My D/H is still learning, but from that walk I knew I chose the right trainer for my dog. Can't wait to see how much more my dogs improve so they can truly enjoy their life to the fullest.

Bill and Holly have been fantastic in training our dog, Bella. They really took the time to understand her behavior issues and gave us the tools to help her become more obedient and relaxed. What I appreciate most is how they treat both the dog and us as the owners with respect and patience. Their approach is not only effective, but it’s also sustainable. We’ve seen a huge transformation in Bella’s behavior, and we’re now able to enjoy stress-free walks and playtime!

I'm honestly not sure why It's taken this long for me to write a review for Adam. Adam is a gentle giant and sooo good with pups! I've had 2 dogs y train with him and they've both really loved Adam. Adam is so knowledgeable about different problem areas (one of my dogs was reactive on leash and the other had separation anxiety). He knew how to work through both problems and is always quick to respond to my texts. Admittedly, I panic quite easily and always text Adam when I'm freaking out about my dog's behavior - he always calms me down and is very patient with me which I'm so grateful for. I would highly recommend Adam to anyone who is having issues with their pup - you'll leave with a great trainer and a great friend :)

My family and I have a four month old miniature Australian Sheperd. She has a lot of energy and is pretty sweet overall. However, her nipping and play biting quickly became out of control. She also wasn't doing great on the leash, and it would take me a few minutes to put her halter/leash on every morning (usually one kid having to hold her in place) with a LOT of biting.
PermalinkKaren from Bark Busters came to our rescue. She brought us a new halter and taught us some new methods to get our dogs attention. It now takes me less then a minute to get her halter on (this halter is magic - I tried our old one and her behaviors all came back instantly). She is completely focused on me on our walks and comes when I call her.
Karen is truly a dog whisperer, I am so thankful I decided to contact her. I can't believe how effective she is.

Adam has been working with our schnauzer for over a year now and he has helped us completely turn around all of our dog's bad behaviors.
PermalinkBefore hiring Adam, we couldn't leave our 1 year old dog home alone. We couldn't even close him into a separate room without him freaking out. Adam walked us through the steps we needed to take to make him comfortable with being alone and now we can leave him home for 8 hours without issue.
We love that he is easy to reach for training tips or to help us brush up on the skills he has taught us. We could not have gotten our dog to where he is today without Adam, and we are eternally grateful for his expertise and guidance! Not to mention our pup is a big fan as well and will always try to give him kisses.

I have been working with Adam Kravetz for several months and he's been incredible. My dog is 2.5 years old. He's half border collie, half Doberman and Husky. He's extremely protective inside the home. I wasn't able to have company over without a huge production (aggressive barking) and fear my dog would bite someone.
PermalinkMy dog has seen lots of trainers since he was a puppy. They were able to get him to act politely outside the home. But I didn't have someone who helped me with his behavior inside the home until Adam.
Within the first visit which Adam spent lots of time with us, he taught me exercises to do with my dog and had me practice several times while he was there. I would say after just the second session, there was a huge improvement in my dog's behavior around the home.
Adam is so calm. He has taught me so much in how I interact with my dog . He focuses on my behavior and relationship with my dog. Adam has come over and done training with my elderly mom and my boyfriend so they learn how to best interact with my dog in my home. It has been a huge relief for me. I can't recommend Adam enough.

Dixie is a Shorthaired German Pointer mix. Very head strong and aggressive towards other animals, especially dogs. She does not chase the outdoor cat that stays with us after one session so far. We are using the techniques Kevin taught us to use to claim our space.
PermalinkKevin is an excellent trainer.
He explains why he uses the different techniques. He didn't seem to be here because it was his job, he enjoys and
cares what he teaches. Dixie responded very well. My husband was very skeptical about the process in the beginning but was amazed at the difference Dixie's behavior was after the training session. I can cook in the kitchen without stepping over her!
I can't wait to work with Kevin to help Dixie play well with other dogs.
