Sharon helped me immensely to understand my dog’s communication to me and how I can communicate more clearly for my dog. She explains it clearly and thoroughly. My dog is reactive to men and Sharon’s teaching has already helped us in a short time. I know it will only get better as we continue.

We have two anxious dogs, Ben was very patient and calm. He gave us a lot of information and explained why our dogs were stressed. He gave us exercises to help us help our dogs. Having him come to our home and see exactly what we are dealing with and give us techniques specifically for our dogs is helping tremendously. We have a long way to go, but Ben has given us hope that we aren’t a lost cause. We just keep practicing and already see signs of a happier, calmer home.

We feel so grateful to have found Damon! We already saw a change in our pups’ behavior after the first session, and we’re already feeling such relief. Our dachshund can show aggression toward us at times, and we’ve seen significantly fewer instances of this since working with Damon! If she is triggered, we apply our teachings and her aggression is immediately nipped in the bud! We are amazed!! I have already recommended colleagues and friends to Bark Busters because we are so impressed by the program. Damon is awesome! He listens, provides honest feedback, and takes the time to get to know you. My husband and I are excited to continue our training journey and to continue improving our relationship with our pups. Cassidy and Mike were absolute lifesavers and worth the investment! They are extremely knowledgeable, professional, and responsive. My rescue was experiencing severe separation anxiety and incessantly howling. I was getting multiple noise violations from my apartment building. Despite their full calendar they not only squeezed me in their schedule, but gave me a list of techniques to start implementing immediately to start addressing the anxiety. Within the first few days I noticed a difference and continuing to practice them has only expedited the progress. They really focus on the behavioral changes for long lasting results as opposed to temporary fixes. I highly recommend Mike and Cassidy for anyone considering dog training- they are worth it!

I had hit a real low with my two pups and I was feeling anxious and hopeless when I reached out to Gusty and Bark Busters for help.
PermalinkAfter a series of moves, my girls were hyper reactive to *everything* and I couldn't get them to stop barking nonstop in the house, attacking our gate when anyone walked by, and getting majorly out of control with passing people and pets when we went on walks.
Then Gusty came over for a few hours, read into the situation, and thoughtfully explained that I wasn't asserting leadership in a way my dogs could understand, so they thought they needed to protect me at all times.
*I* just needed some training. :)
She taught me to understand and communicate with my girls in a way I didn't know was possible, and gave me confidence in my ability to manage any situation.
The progress we've made in the last week is nothing short of a miracle.
- We have peace in our house.
- I can work uninterrupted.
- The dogs are relaxed.
- They sunbathe instead of screaming at the neighbors.
- We go on walks where they don't react at all to other dogs, to deer directly in our path, to mail trucks and carriers, to multiple people walking by.
Previously, this was something I only dreamed about. It's unprecedented.
I cannot recommend Gusty more highly. She feels like a friend you've known for years and her experience is invaluable. In a short time, she has improved my life (and my relationship with my dogs) —drastically.

Cassidy and Mike are Wonderful Pet Trainers. Cassidy showed me how to use other ways for Kobe(my pit bull dog 4yrs old) to be more efficient with commands. She was also able to explain anything that I needed to change my approach with Kobe.

John was the best. He helped so much with just the initial session. I didn't think my dog would of learned as much as he did. He was very enjoyable, knowledgeable. If we need anything he is more then happy to help. I would highly recommend him to everyone that needs help with training.
