It was amazingly simple and effective to use the totally humane corrections we were taught (it's more owner training than dog training, but it's painless and effective). One walk in the park and the problem behavior totally disappeared. The dogs are so much better behaved, and taking them out is vastly less stressful than it was the day before. Worth every penny, because the lessons are for life!

I have a literally pack of dogs! 6 that are doing the training. They responded so quickly to the techniques and even my hyper stubborn girl started to mind. The male I was having issues with aggression is no longer growling although I myself am still not comfortable letting him mingle with the other males yet. He does however play with the females again. Karen has been very attentive, informative and helpful. I would definitely recommend and do this again if I needed to.

Josh at BarkBusters has done an amazing job helping me with my Pit Bull Storm . He is very patient and I have seen great results with he has taught and shown me to do so that my dog is more trustworthy and responds to me now . He also has given me good advice on nutrition for my dog . At first I was skeptical but now I am a true believer in Josh and Bark Busters !

I was very surprised with how fast Jake responded to Lee’s training. Hasn’t even been 24 hours and he has stopped, jumping completely on me. I was having issues with him to get off the couch to go outside for the last time to pee. He would lay on the couch and not respond to anything I said, and basically you would have to drag him off the couch to get them up. Now, I just use the techniques that Lee taught me and Jake will get up right off the couch immediately. I know there’s work to do but I am ready to do it with Lee’s help because I can already see Jake will be a much better behaved dog.

Ben was so professional, yet very friendly kind, easy to talk to, and patient! He is extremely knowledgeable. He spent over 4 hours with us and our 2 dogs, one of whom is quite stubborn. My husband and I would recommend Ben in a heartbeat. We couldn't be more satisfied with our decision.

Do not hesitate to call Barbara! This is my second dog to work with Bark Busters. Barbara worked wonders with our first dog, a Labrador Retriever that we were struggling with a drastic change in his behavior that we had noted with a new baby in the house and a divorce in progress. Her work with myself and my older children helped immensely and I had not doubts about calling her on again recently with our newest dog, 1 year old lab mix.
PermalinkOur newest addition, Penelope, reached the zenith of her bad puppy behaviors (jumping on guests, pulling on the leash, ignoring us when called etc.) during this past Christmas season and in desperation I reached out to Barbara to give us a hand. The change in our household with Penelope’s new manners was so quick and dramatic we had friends and family marveling over the difference in such a short time. Of course, working with a dog is always ongoing but Barbara provided the tools, encouragement and instruction we needed to get on the right course. She truly listens to your situation and the dog’s unique quirks and provides customized training plans to work on specific behaviors. She is very responsive via text for a quick question – something we really appreciate. I highly recommend her services to anyone struggling with troubling canine behaviors!

If you’re reading this as a frustrated dog parent, look no further for any other trainer/ company. Absolutely go with Bark Busters!
PermalinkAmanda, our trainer is a genius. She showed me this video of a mama dog correcting her pups
and this is what the leader of the pack (me) does. I’m basically mama grunting at them when they do anything out of line or any thing I want to correct. Amanda is super cool and personable and can show you so many ways to get your dogs in line. There’s obviously more to it than just grunting so make you’re appointment with this company!!! My dogs are happier dogs! My dogs don’t have anxiety and IIIIIIIIII don’t have anxiety. I can enjoy my dogs now!
It’s crazy. It’s totally working! No treat or punish training.
My Cooper is not fear barking and lunging at people and my other dog Hunny isn’t separation anxiety barking outside when she can’t see me.
It took one water spray and a grunt before she came inside; I closed the door again and she quietly, patiently waited to come in until I let her.
Some dogs are a little more stubborn (cooper has been surprisingly) but it’s working. Hunny fell in line immediately.
My dogs aren’t CRAZY! Amanda and I are working on leash training in 2 weeks. Potty/ crate training rn. No more pee pads.
