We reached out to Mark to help with our 1.5 year old male rottweiler, Beau. At about a year old, he started becoming reactive to dogs he doesn't know on walks, in the car, and looking out the window of the house. It made walks more stressful and having to keep the window blinds down during the day. It has been about a week since our initial session with Mark and Beau has been a different dog outside. On walks, he is responsive and engaged with us when asked, and we have been able to walk by new dogs without a reaction. Another huge win for us was Beau making a good choice (on his own!) not to react at a dog he would normally bark at passing by our house. We are so grateful for Mark's help, his experience, and being able to communicate with our dog effectively. Would definitely recommend Mark if you need help with your dog!

I had a fantastic training session with Nicole and couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. She helped me focus on attentiveness training with my dog and gave thoughtful, constructive feedback on how I’ve been guiding and correcting behavior. Her insights on strengthening my leadership were especially valuable — they gave me a clearer sense of how to build a more confident and responsive relationship with my dog.
PermalinkNicole took the time to understand my dog’s history, which really helped put some of the behavioral challenges into context. Her ability to tailor the training to our unique situation made all the difference. The guidance she provided was clear, actionable, and supportive. I left the session with specific things to work on before our next meeting, and I saw immediate improvements in my dog’s behavior.
What stands out most is Nicole’s communication — she’s thorough, encouraging, and follows up after sessions, which helps tremendously in staying on track. I truly appreciate the support she provides and am excited to continue working and learning with her. Highly recommend!

I had my first meeting with Heather today and she was so great with the three of my dogs. Even after just one session I think they were already getting a hang of the exercises we were working on. She was very patient with us and a great teacher. I’m really looking forward to our future visits so I can see them continue to improve! Highly recommend!

My partner and I had our first session with Amanda yesterday, and it was truly magical. When seeking a dog trainer we read all the reviews before making a decision, and now I can understand crystal clear why she has 5 star ratings everywhere. Amanda has a different philosophy to training and we saw those results immediately! I would recommend her to any dog parent struggling with their fur babies. She also shared a ton of profound knowledge, new to me.

Wow what can I say Johnny is amazing . He was able to give me the tools to make my new rescue buddy a solid new member of my family. Johnnys demeanor and expertise is impeccable I highly recommend his services. Now our walks are enjoyable no more pulling or aggressive behavior on the leash . We had tried everything with our three-and-a-half-year-old Morkie. His behavior was horrendous, and it had worsened over time. We had worked with a number of trainers and tried 3 different medications for Chester, but nothing seemed to work. Then, a miracle happened, or at least that’s what we thought. We booked our initial visit with Doug at Bark Busters. I was skeptical, since nothing had worked with our dog yet. After an hour and a half of Doug working with my wife, me, and our dog, the dog exhibited a completely new personality. The barking was gone, and we were able to walk out of the house without having to lock him in a different part of the house. His anxiety levels reached a low that we had not seen since he was a pup. Yesterday was the first day in over a year and a half that we had a quiet and peaceful day and enjoyed our puppy. Needless to say, I went from a skeptic to a believer immediately. I would wholeheartedly recommend Doug and Bark Busters to anyone who’s having issues with their dog. In fact, we mentioned Bark Busters to our vet this afternoon when we were there for Chester’s shots. Doug, thank you for all that you did. We truly appreciate it and look forward to a long relationship.
