Marcus was very informative, patient, and knowledgeable. We felt very comfortable with his training methods. He had two dogs in the family with separate issues and getting the dogs to meet for the first time. He was calm and friendly with all of us.

Amanda has been my dog trainer for a year and half now and the things she has taught me not only about my dogs, but about myself are truly life-changing. My dogs, Finley and Dakota, began fighting almost every day when my girlfriend and I moved into a new home. Our dogs could not even be in the same room together and now they are at the point where they play almost twice a day.
PermalinkAmanda is so confident and knowledgeable and truly wants to educate others on how to communicate with dogs. She wants to share her expertise in order to make us as dog owners more confident and comfortable in our everyday lives. I could not be more grateful for not only the training that Amanda has given us and the dogs, but also the friendship that has come along with being a client of hers.
Even though she has an entire territory of clients, she makes each person and dog feel so special and remembered. Amanda has one of the most amazing memories and it just shows how much she cares about each of her clients. I am very grateful to have Amanda as our trainer and the community she has created.
She puts on weekly "pack walks" for her clients and having the opportunity to talk to other people with reactive dogs has allowed me to not be as embarrassed or feel so alone with my dog's issues. Dog owners everywhere experience these same problems and I am beyond grateful for this community that I never knew I needed.
I would highly recommend Amanda as a dog trainer!

I cannot give enough high praise to James. He is knowledgeable, patient and empathetic. I saw a drastic difference in my girls behavior after the first session. The homework is manageable and you really see results. James helped me feel confident and reassured throughout the entire process. My dog and I’s relationship is the best it’s ever been now that I understand her behavior and can speak her language. For the first time I can see the light! Without James help, I’m not sure her and I would still be in each others lives in the long run. Contacting Bark Busters is the best decision I’ve ever made for her and I.

Had a Doberman that was misbehaving. Marcus did a wonderful job working on his issues. Now we can go for walks. The barking and charging has stopped. Now its our turn to work.

The team at Bark Busters is truly unique in all aspects of their training. The in-depth understanding of canine behavior and the connection to the training method is why all these reviews are so great. We realized very quickly that this process was going well below the surface level symptoms, identifying the root causes and then utilizing the techniques to change the behavior. Our two strong willed dogs picked up on the new rules surprisingly quick. All of our concerns were addressed and improvement in behavior was noticeable.
