Holly did an amazing job with both of my dogs. After an hour, I had a whole new approach and the dogs were responding! It is the best dog training I’ve ever seen and well worth it!

    Trainer Note:
Today was a great first session! I really enjoyed meeting and working with Firenze today! We worked through her separation anxiety, barking, and leash manners! Now that Jan is the leader in the home Firenze can now officially start to relax knowing mom has got it!

Karina was really great with Bossa and taught me how to be a leader and have Bossa respect me. I have a very confident, leash reactive/aggressive small dog. Karina was super patient and showed me what I needed to do, and alternate methods that would work better for me.
Looking forward to seeing more progress with Bossa's behavior, and working further with Karina. I would definitely recommend it, I feel I have the tools to confidently take my dog on walks and will continually develop them.

Photo of Snowflake/ Charlie / Riley The training was so informative. I loved that Joshua showed me step by step how to teach my dogs that I'm in charge. Great information left with me to continue to have well behaved dogs! I am so grateful.

Starr has now taken control back in her home and we watched her three pups fall in line! She was amazed and very pleased with how they responded! She now has the tools to be consistent. I am really looking forward to her progress.

Karen was very patient and compassionate with us, quickly becoming very attuned to my rescue cattle dog mix with separation anxiety issues. I was very impressed by her reading of our relationship, and immediately felt we were in good hands and could finally get the personalized training we needed without relying on bribery (my dog is very stubborn and very not treat-motivated).
She gave me simple and clear instructions on how to make Jolene feel incrementally more confident, but the content of the training mostly focused on modifying my own behavior so as not to inadvertently make my dog worry or feel like she needed to look out for me at all times.
I feel so fortunate for having Karen in our lives, after moving to the city for a new job I was incredibly stressed about leaving Jolene at home alone, knowing she would be howling and pacing. Our relationship is much stronger now and I can finally make plans without constantly worrying.

Photo of Lola Paul and Bark Busters have been great to work with. Great communication to get started. Face to face training with owners and dog(s) very helpful. Thorough explanation and hands on instruction. Began to see improvements immediately. Very exciting! Learning a lot and seeing more and more improvement in behavior, listening, etc. Wish we would have found Bark Busters sooner, as our dog was 5 years old when we started. Highly recommend Paul and Bark Busters! Thank you!

Dalila is a gifted dog trainer. She has been working with my husband and me and our 4 year-old mini labradoodle for several months. We've seen improvement in our dogs demand barking and are starting to tackle some of the deeper separation anxiety issues our dog has had since being a puppy. Dalila is patient, kind, and great at communicating. She never seems rushed and checks in via text between visits, which we appreciate. Dalila is gentle yet firm with our dog and has helped us feel more comfortable dealing with our dogs challenges.

Most dog training is about training the owner. This system is no different. I'm sure if you follow it, you'll have a dog who appears well behaved... you just may not be allowed to interact with your dog in the way YOU prefer to.

My problems with the system and the company are as follows:
    - The system is based on a certain way to give your dog attention - it doesn't adapt to YOUR personality as a pet owner. If you like to give your dog a pat on the head when they come and request one, this is not the system for you.
    - The system is based on a key correction word and movements that escalate in volume and involve assertive charging or stomping movements. Being the whole point of my search for training was I wanted LESS volume and less physical action to correct, this system works in a very opposite way.
    - The company (or at least my assigned trainer) WILL NOT proactively schedule sessions. It's all "needs based" - so you have to reach out if you want another session and they will not schedule any future sessions in advance. The trainer also implied that he'd check video and email descriptions BEFORE coming back to my home, essentially making me feel like it would be a chore to get him to come back if I wanted him to.
    - Other correction tools offered like squirt bottles and noise makers are pretty standard to any kind of training. There's nothing overall unique here that makes it feel worth the price.

All in all, I don't think this system is a good fit for the way most modern dog owners prefer to interact with their dogs and there isn't anything special that differentiates this system from others. For me, absolutely not worth the money.
