Adrienne was fantastic! I adopted a 3 year old shepherd mix and he came with a history of aggression (explained to me as leash/dog reactivity). Within a few days of adopting him, he exhibited some other signs of aggression that concerned me. I contacted Adrienne/Barkbusters and she worked me in to her schedule almost immediately. Toby quickly responded to her techniques, and in a matter of hours, I had a far better behaved dog. It was amazing! It is clear I need to work on my "leadership" skills so my dog sees me more as the leader, but Adrienne provided me the tools, the knowhow, and helpful explanations so that I can be the leader my dog needs me to be! Adrienne is a confident, compassionate, patient, and effective trainer - I would highly recommend her.

Photo of Baxter, Zeke, Lady, Rascal Just one week of faithful training…
I had Rascal on the porch to reprimand him(which I just need to stop doing as it serves no purpose) and I heard the start of a dog fight just inside the front door between Baxter and Zeke-which has been a issue in my pack…immediately, I abandoned Rascal and BAH’d as I entered the door while grabbing the squirt bottle (I have one located in every area of the house for quick access) and squirted each of them maybe twice and the separated! I’m so pleased that the steps were in place to achieve such a quick resolution and ‘peaceful’ event with no injuries or blood as during previous like encounters. Thank you Connie! All I can say is THIS STUFF WORKS-even for sibling rivalry issues!

Photo of Baxter, Zeke, Lady, Rascal Feeding time used to be chaos. Jumping, running, even knocking bowls out of my hands at times…now, they all four follow behind me. I can stop, step, stop, and even step backwards several times and it’s like doing a ‘dance’ with them. They sit and wait for the ‘free dip’ command to begin eating. Connie has brought so much harmony to my pack! I can’t say thank you enough times! ( I hope the video of this loads in the photo section).

Nella showed almost immediate improvement in her leash work and I finally felt like I was in charge. She responded so well to John immediately. We feel like we have the tools to work on her separation anxiety after feeling so lost on where to begin.

Photo of Maverick Luis has been amazing teaching us everything on how to train our Mini Goldendoodle.
It was incredible to learn the amount of things we were doing wrong. Now we have a plan and are enforcing it daily.
It was remarkable to see our fury friend behave so well.
We really loved the personalized attention and real engagement.
Luis really cares about what he does and is super knowledgeable.
He also taught us some things about teenagers so we are now preparing.

    Trainer Note:
Teddy bear is really struggling with his reactivity to people and noises. We are working with him to also overcome separation anxiety. Pumpkin is also recourse guarding. They really responded well in our first session. I am following up with them in 3 weeks to move forward with our training.

Photo of Pepper Dan took control of Pepper's behavior the second he walked into my house. Pepper is struggling with separation anxiety and the ear-piercing barking that goes along with it. Dan expresses confidence and calmness. His techniques take practice but are easy to learn. Pepper’s out-of-control barking stopped almost immediately (honestly).
Dan helped me to realize how much Pepper's behaviors mimic my own. I am high anxiety; I hate leaving him alone and I constantly demand his attention. My behaviors taught Pepper that he needs to protect me, and that I will not be OK if I am not within sight. I need to teach Pepper to be my dog; my buddy and know I will protect him.
I am a new dog owner and Pepper was 1yr when I adopted him. He did not have a traumatic background, but already had anxious behaviors. The practiced techniques already have Pepper and me calmer. I am much more confident leaving him alone.
