Never could have imagined that our stray pitbull we adopted would be able to be in the same room as our husky. Our pitbull was dog aggressive with a whole range of heart problems that complicated normal socialization practices. Mike Shamp helped us navigate both physical and emotional challenges with her, and as a result, the dogs don't just get along but are the best of friends. I cannot recommend Mike & Bark Busters more!

Robert, we can’t thank you enough! I already see improvement after our 1st session was over! This is the best day I’ve had with my 2 puppies since I took them home! They didn’t bite me all day lol, no chewing on cabinets or handles, barely fought, and waited for the us to come into the gate! This gives me so much hope for them and us.
PermalinkThank you for your kindness and patience with all of us! We felt so comfortable with you. It was so great to meet you! We are really looking forward to our puppies continued progress and to our next meeting with you!

Experience with Luis Escobar in teaching us how to “speak dog” and be better “puppy parents” was simply unbelievable and stunning!!! Techniques and his kindness in showing us how to communicate better and understand our dog is really something that you have to experienced so you can believe believe what can be done in literally 5 minutes in order to change behaviour of your pet!! We have spent time and money with “dog trainers” that were teaching Simba to seat, stay and come commands but no one really help us to solve our real issues with our boy Simba that we had and thats his separation anxiety and being overly excited about anything and everything :))) Luis has changed that immediately and showed us how to better understand his needs and communicate in proper and right way!! Anyone that has any kind of issues with their pets, PLEASE, do not look further but call Luis, either if you have to wait on his appointment, it is so rewarding and special to see and experience…Luis is a REAL “Dog Whisperer” THANK YOU, THANK YOU Luis and can’t wait to meet you again for another lesson and adjustments in what we have learned at the first class!!!!

Damon was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable and gave us great training methods and exercises to use with our two dogs to help get them to be the best pups possible.

Saw a marled improvement in a very short time. Puppies responded quickly to the training and focused attention on us. We look forward to the future!

I reached out to Leigh-Ann because I was totally overwhelmed by my 4 year old Great Pyrenees' separation anxiety. Leigh-Ann is incredible. As soon as she entered our space, she helped me understand Zoe's behavior, establish myself as the leader in our home, and set some clear boundaries. The very next day I noticed a huge difference in Zoe's anxiety levels. She is consistently recalling, staying, and respecting the leash when we walk. With Leigh-Ann's guidance, we're still working up to longer absences, but Zoe is handling separation much better – no more destructive behavior or escape attempts. Leigh-Ann is a pleasure to work with. She provides clear instructions and expectations. I especially appreciate the emphasis on verbal commands and correction (no use of treats for reinforcement). If your pup is struggling with separation anxiety and you're feeling overwhelmed, know that there's hope! Our home is so much happier and our communication so much stronger since working with Leigh-Ann.

I have a 4 month old Husky puppy. I honestly thought on my own I have been doing a lot when it comes to training and felt it couldn't hurt to have another opinion and guidance now while she is young. With just 2.5 hours of work with Robert I realized she was training me more than I have been training her. He taught me boundaries, proper leash walking, area and boundary control as well as impulse control in just our first session. I always struggled with crate training because I was never fully for it, but he taught me alternative methods so it becomes a comfortable process for both me and my puppy. I highly recommend Bark Busters- they are on your side and really guide you and give you confidence when it comes to raising your pup!
