Derek and Lissette have changed our lives! When Wagging Tails Rescue united me with my fur baby, I was overjoyed. About a month after rescuing my stubborn Great Pyrenees she starting displaying extreme protective behavior over the house and me resulting with aggressive behavior towards other dogs and men. She had severe anxiety, was barking non stop, and was out of control on walks to the point where I was afraid to walk her. Derek and Lissette taught me how to train my dog and how to communicate with her so that she would respond to my commands. At first I was self-conscious to make the growling "BAH" sound to correct unwanted behavior and didn't listen to the training they provided. I was losing hope and thinking about returning Sadie to the rescue. After a second training session I changed my perspective and decided to buckle down with the training they were instilling.
PermalinkIt wasn't easy and it took about 4 months of dedicated training to see results. Following their guidelines I have seen incredible results with my dog. We now walk every day, she does not bark, she shows zero aggression, and listens to all commands.
Going above and beyond training they guided me with everything from nutrition for my dog to products to use to elevate anxiety. Derek and Lissette are very responsive and genuinely care about the well being of animals. They are always there when needed, even just to provide advice and guidance for small concerns when texting. I highly recommend the lifetime of the animal training package.

After our 1st session with Rob, I felt reassured that I made the right decision in hiring a trainer. He was so helpful in addressing my dogs issues. He went slow with instructions & very patient. I saw a change in my dog's behavior even in the 1st session!

I have had a rescue dog for about a year. She is afraid of everything. After the first visit there was great improvement. I found that she thought she was in charge. This was the big problem. Pam was great and so glad I called.

Anne spent 3 hours with us discussing the behavior issues with our dog. She explained training techniques with clarity, provided training demonstrations, and gave us materials to reinforce the Bark Busters program. She has made herself available since the initial contact to address any other behavior concerns. Anne treated us with respect. She followed up with emails and phone communications in a timely fashion. Anne is a highly successful trainer that my husband and I would recommend to anyone. Bark Busters training really works. Josh was fantastic. An amazing approach to helping establish a healthy environment to our new dog Coquette. She was very receptive to the training that Josh introduced to our house. We learned about overall health, how to set boundaries, and had immediate results!

Damon was so helpful cracking Maddie's code. I understand her so much better now and she started listening better after just the initial visit! I'm looking forward to continuing Maddie's training with Damon! I've already recommended BarkBusters to 5 different pup owners!
