We have only had one training session with Vicky just 1 week ago. That being said our dog is already starting to respond to several of the areas we are working on. We are happy with the results we are seeing so far.

Photo of Murphy It was a pleasure working with John to train our newly rescued dog, Murphy. John came prepared with many techniques and as he demonstrated on our beagle, Chloe -- my husband and I were amazed at how Chloe responded. It was then our task to try these same procedures on our then fearful and apprehensive, Murphy. It has been an amazing 2 weeks and Murphy has come so far that we let him engage with guests, both canine and people, this weekend WITHOUT any incidents. It is truly unbelievable how these simple, but consistent and firm training techniques and guidelines have turned our fearful little Corgi x Rescue Dog into one that is able to mix with groups of people and animals without biting. We will continue to work on all of the techniques that John put into place and continue Murphy's progress.

Joanne Rice was excellent. She was punctual and took a lot of time going over the training protocol and answering a lot of my questions. My Pugs responded quickly to the new training and Joanne gave me instruction and the confidence to take back control of my home. I know it will take some time but I am happy with the progress thus far and high recommend Joanne.

Photo of Madison Jeri is a great trainer who offers practical suggestions, is very informative and knowledgeable about dog handling. So far, we have seen quite an improvement in our dog's behavior particularly with aggression and controlling her barking. I would highly recommend her and Bark Busters to anyone who is thinking of training their dog. It's worth it.

I am beyond surprised to how well Jazzy and Katie - who had been under stress and suffering from separation anxiety after my (their) Mom passed away suddenly - are responding to Jeri's training tips. They are much more calm and less anxious, which is such a relief. Bark Busters has been a lifesaver because I always promised my Mom I'd take care of her beloved pips and this helps me do that! Thank you so much!

We adopted our dog Piper in January 2015 from a pet rescue. Piper had fear issues and within a few weeks it developed into protective aggression towards outside people and animals. As her sense of belonging and level of comfort with her new home and family grew it seemed to be getting worse. Things were so bad that nothing we did could break her attention from whatever issue she was attacking. We knew right away that we needed help! Thankfully we were referred to Susan with Bark Busters by our veterinarians office.

Susan came to our home to help us work with Piper. Immediately Susans help and instruction showed results. After the first session we knew how to watch Pipers body language and also our own. We better understood developing consistent commands and rewards to reinforce desired behavior. Very quickly we were able to help Piper understand the family hierarchy and allow her to relax knowing that she didnt need to be the protector. By the second session with Susan, Piper was a new dog! Now Piper is a great listener, and I know I can gain her attention under any circumstance.

We are so very thankful to Susan and Bark Busters for helping us reach the lovable gentle dog we knew Piper could be.

Our dogs are 8 and 10 years old (both rescue dogs). We thought it was too late to train them and they both showed ability to learn and significant improvement in behavior after only 1 session.
