"Amazing results!! I can’t believe the transformation in my sweet boy, Wrangler! I have an Australian Shepherd who was very reactive, aggressive and really scared of people. Anthony and his team were able to train me to be the leader of the pack. I have tried boarding, shock collars and everything under the sun before Bark Busters, and all other methods seemed to just increase his aggressive tendencies. Turns out I needed the training! I am now able to introduce Wrangler to strangers, greatly reduce his reactivity and start to show the world the dog that I love so much. The best part is that Bark Busters is there for ongoing training and help whenever a problem arises. They even took him to Barkin Creak (wonderful groomer) to help transition to a new grooming tech! They go over and above! Worth every penny!" Josh

My pit bull Sophie had some bad habits, mainly barking and separation anxiety. A friend recommended Bark Busters. After two lessons, her behavior is literally night and day. Stephanie taught us how to communicate better and show leadership so Sophie wouldn't try and take on the role of pack leader. She is much less stressed out. I can leave the house without her crying, and she doesn't bark at the door anymore. I'm staying on top of the training. Highly recommend!

Kevin and the Bark Busters team truly deserves a 5 star here -- Kevin has been supporting us with our border collie/pointer mix for the past year or so and we've made really great progress with his help! He's not only taught us more of the psychological aspect as dog owners, but brought a clear strategy to help our dog, Juniper, feel more at ease at home.
PermalinkIf you're looking for a trainer that is deeply empathetic, tailors their approach based on the behavior/personality of each dog, and is always around to support you no matter what, then Bark Busters is it. I will also say their customer support team is amazing and incredibly responsive.
Very happy we decided to go with Bark Busters!!

Google Review: "Rachel and Betty Lou were a big help with our two mini Australian shepherds! We were having issues with them greeting people as well as going on walks. Their leadership exercises as well as other techniques are definitely different from the norm but seem to be working! There’s a lot less barking at our front door when people come over now!"

I thought that getting my four-year-old Cavapoo her own puppy would help with keeping her company when I would be at work or go out. The new puppy was a rescue, and it was an adjustment for all of us. Over the last year, these two amazing individual dogs started to rub off on each other in negative ways surrounding separation anxiety and excessive barking, to the point that even if I just walk toward the front door the barking is so bad it sounds like actual screaming. The barking was relentless for hours, with no break in between, when I would not be home. They began being triggered by every single noise they heard even if they were sitting next to me on the couch. I tried other dog trainers with no success until we met Steve. Steve’s consultation doesn’t just include explaining to you what the process will be like but he spends hours training you on how to regain respect and your alpha status again, as well as how to “speak canine” to your dogs. The way in which he taught me to communicate is different than anything I ever knew before, including from the trainers that I used in 2019 when I got my first dog. In just a couple of hours there were already significant obvious improvements in their behaviors. These situations are not only frustrating for owners, but no dog lover wants to know that their babies are suffering emotionally with anxiety and it can make you feel very helpless. I asked Steve if he taught Cesar Milan everything he knows because Steve is the first person I’ve ever seen connect with dogs the way I’ve seen Cesar for years watching him on TV. I’ve wasted money on people who truly had no effect, but I wasn’t ready to give up regardless of cost. You have to realize that this is an investment. Bark Buster is there for you indefinitely for the rest of your fur babies lives, and to support you as an owner too. I cannot say enough about my experience so far and would recommend 10 out of 10, all day! My best advice is, if you feel like things are hopeless, no matter what you’ve tried, don’t give up. Bark Busters absolutely will make it possible for you and your pet(s) to live a very happy and healthy life together!
