The training and development process so far has been great! There has been a lot of improvements so far, and we’ve only been enforcing these new practices for a month. Theresa has been incredibly helpful throughout this process. My husband and I are looking forward to see how helpful her techniques are throughout years to come. Highly recommend using Theresa at Bark Busters to anyone with a dog with any behavioral concern, and who wish to learn a better way to handle situations.

Theresa has been so amazing with our dogs. We decided to try Bark Busters several months ago because our dogs had been marking inside the house repeatedly. Since starting Bark Busters we have nearly eliminated their marking habit. It is also easier to break up any tension between them and stop them from barking. We are also having a much easier time walking them. Overall very happy with our results.

After our first visit with Anthony we have learned some new methods with our dog. Some which I believe will be of excellent use if we continue to follow through with them. We are excited to have Anthony as our trainer and look forward to seeing some much needed improvements with our dogs behavior and development. Keith brought peace of mind to me and our family. After our Norwegian Elkhound passed, we waited three years to get a new dog. We chose a French Bulldog, Lyra, and for just over a year we were loving living the Frenchie life. But, we still talked about adding another dog to our family.
PermalinkIn the beginning of January, we took in a 10 month old Belgian Malinois/Dutch Shepard mix who needed to be re-homed. We named her Jade. As you may have guessed, life as we knew it was flipped completely upside-down.
Lyra is a calm, chill, easy going, snuggle bug who loves to cuddle. Jade, on the other hand, is pure energy. She needs to run and play and she needs to work and be trained. I was having a very hard time coping with the change. I couldn't get her house trained and she was making a mess of our home. I couldn't figure her out. Despite having trained my Elkhound years ago, I didn't know what to do now.
I wasn't sure we had made the right decision taking Jade in.
We researched trainers and called a few, including Keith.
Keith was very understanding and he was willing to answer some questions and even put up with me calling him twice in one hour before we even scheduled our first visit.
Keith arrived with a presentation, materials, training tools, knowledge, and compassion. He taught us about pack behavior and how to communicate with our dogs. He was reassuring that we could do this and that Jade would become a part of our pack.
We put what he taught us into practice right away. The best part (for me, anyway) was that, after he left, I was able to text him with questions and ask for advice and he was right there with support and helpful answers.
My anxiety had been through the roof before he came and after using the tools and knowledge Keith provided, even he saw the change in, not only the dogs, but in me when he came back for his second visit.
I highly recommend Keith. His knowledge and methods are excellent and the peace of mind he brought to our home is priceless.
