Robert is absolutely amazing at his job. I never thought that it would be possible for both of my dogs to stop barking, running at the front door and trying to jump on the kitchen table. No matter how hard we tried, we could never get them to calm down and stop being on guard 24/7. Before Bark Busters, I had two crazy dogs, but after that first session I can see the change. Not only have they calmed down with the barking, but they are more relaxed. Robert was not just able to show us the techniques, but he explained it in ways that my whole family was able to understand, and was able to show us the proper ways to get the dogs to listen to us. I am excited to continue to work with Robert to continue to train my dogs, and I cannot wait to see how my dogs will continue to progress. Finding Robert and Bark Busters has been a life saver!

I called Bark Busters after fortunately stumbling across their internet page. I have a new Rat Terrier puppy and am going through the trials of house training. So I took a chance and called to see if they would agree to work with my new puppy, along with his brothers. Said brothers include: a Bassett Hound, a Siberian Husky, a Saint Bernard, a pot-bellied pig, and a goat. Fortunately the pig is quite well-mannered and didn't need any extra work.
PermalinkMarc Deppe arrived at the exact agreed upon time and within mere minutes had my whole crew of dogs behaving. He taught me the techniques and now I can control my dogs. The behavior changes included: not barking when welcoming strangers to come inside, not barking at the fence as people walk by, not rushing me to get out the door, allowing me to come through the fence without worrying about them getting past me and out of their yard. And best of all, the puppy is no longer using me as a pin cushion for his needle-teeth. Truthfully, the goat remains a bit of a problem, but one of Marc's techniques is starting to get him to understand some boundaries.
Not everything out there is actually as advertised, but Bark Busters delivers far more than one could dare to hope. I'm so proud of my dogs now, and best of all, there was NO cruelty involved, no leashes, no treats, and nothing that could harm a pet in any way. I've been following Marc's advice with my dogs, and the goat, and the house has become a lot more peaceful. The puppy is still on a learning curve, which is to be expected, but I have no doubt he's going to grow up to be as well mannered as his brothers now.
Bark Busters modified the behavior of four spoiled and much adored, dogs of different sizes, breeds and temperaments, and his techniques worked on all of them. Plus, one of those techniques is even helping with the goat.
My furry family gives Bark Busters 16 paws and 4 hooves up.

Dan is the man. He called us back within minutes, explained exactly how his method works and without offering money back made us feel very safe in our investment.

Within minutes of Dan highlighting how he could help he taught us the difference between brains, how adrenaline rules most dogs and once we started our dog was fixed. We left the house and not one peep. Now.....Dan is so honest he said it doesn't always work this fast but we are still blown away. Dan changed our lives in one day. Honest, always available and gets the job done. Worth every penny. Do not be scared off with the initial cost.......it is nothing compared to your sanity and happy family. Thanks Dan forever.

Ryan is a MIRACLE WORKER! Our older dog, Misty, was born on the streets of Oman in the Middle East. She was physically abused and abandoned. Her only interaction with other dogs was to be aggressive and fight. We got a new puppy, Theodore, and wanted to make sure to introduce them properly, as we feared Misty would continue to be anxious and aggressive towards him. Ryan taught us how to speak our dog’s language in a matter of minutes, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! Misty is now playful and comfortable with Theodore after years of never getting along with other dogs. Like I said before, Ryan is a MIRACLE WORKER!

In just two sessions, June and Colin have helped us get our German Shepherd under control for his dog aggression. The training is owner and dog friendly, and does really work. We are continuing to use Bark Busters methods daily in work and play with our dog, consistency is the key! I have a much better relationship with my GSD now and look forward to having more training sessions in the future with June and Colin - thank you!

I received great info on why my dogs are acting the way they do and what is needed to help them become the happy dogs they are meant to be.I saw an immediate response to jumping (my grandkids came over at end) and Rusty behaved like he hasn't before. I must admit I got so much info on exercises to do with him, I forgot what they all were but the materials re-explained them (thank goodness) and the ability to call the trainer for added info has already been used.
