My dog is very well on his obedience but he was a singleton ( only child) and did not learn how to respond to other dogs and their cues. I recently hired Bark Busters who are behavioral specialists. Our instructor came last night and today my dog acts like the weight of the world has been lifted from him. He has done great with homework! Evan Ritcher is the instructor and has been phenomenal! Highly recommend this company!

After just one session with Mark, we have course-corrected the fear aggression that we have seen building over time within our 4-year-old dog, Finnegan. After two (2) poor encounters, one at a groomer and one with another dog, Finnegan developed a very intense reaction to other dogs (and anyone in scrubs), to the point where we could not walk past another dog across the street. He would bark and pull and just go crazy, all out of immense fear. Other aspects of his temperament also started worsening like guarding socks and/or toilet paper. We felt like we were losing our dog. The worst realization was that our 1-year-old dog, Daisy, was beginning to pick up the same characteristics simply by watching him. We tried other training methods over the years that all helped/made small improvements but nothing was as dramatic as Mark and Bark Busters. He helped us reset with the dogs, establish leadership and own the space so that our dogs feel safe and look to us for direction. We have work to do to reinforce the training and make it our way of life, but we feel very excited and thankful for all of it. Our dogs are much happier as well, even after just a few weeks. We would HIGHLY recommend Mark and Bark Busters to anyone.

After just one week working with Bonnie, my dog Sherman understands that I am the leader of our pack. He walks next to me beautifully. He stops barking when commanded. He follows me vs. being unruly and underfoot. He is far more relaxed overall. The concept is brilliant and very easy to administer for fast results!

Adrienne is amazing! I can't even begin to describe the difference two sessions has made with our big pup, Otis. He is a big boy (120+ lbs) and was super dog reactive. I wasn't able to walk him with any control and it was getting dangerous. I had hired previous trainers who literally told me Otis was a danger to society and me and to euthanize him. Adrienne came in and calmly explained how to properly communicate with a dog. Otis responded immediately. Adrienne understood he is just a big sweet boy who needed more direction and to know he didn't have to protect us or worry so much. All the training is done in a safe manner with no harmful punishment techniques for your dog. It is based upon how mother dogs communicate with their puppies - in a dog's language. After just two visits Otis was literally so much calmer and relaxed. During the second visit he was able to meet Adrienne's dog, Nala and he was a good boy! We were able to walk them around the block together and another dog passed and Otis remained calm. This is night and day from his aggressive, dog reactive behavior. If you have any issues at all with your dog please don't loose hope but seriously call Adrienne. Do your homework! Our lives have truly changed for the better - there is much less stress in our house and we have a good dog! Thank you, Thank you!

Our trainer, Jeri was thorough, efficient and effective. She gave my husband and me instructions to set us up for success even before she arrived, had a ‘lesson plan’ personalized to our particular needs, and spent as much time with us as we needed to become familiar with a brand new way to relate to our two dogs. We appreciate the written reference material she left with us, her suggested prioritization of behaviors to address, and the special accessories (patented to BarkBusters), provided to support success. It was worth the investment to have training within our home environment, with emphasis on providing consistent, firm but fair leadership. She set us up with a training schedule for us to complete, augmented by her continued support either via email or for additional visits. We highly recommend BarkBusters as a sound investment in a serenely happy home!

Our mixed breed rescue (JoJo) was experiencing EXTREME fear reactivity after having been attacked and injured by another dog. If within 100 yards of another dog, she would demonstrate over-the-top fear and stress. Although we’ve always had dogs, we were at a loss on how to help her. After discussing “re-homing” her to a safer environment, we called Bark Busters in a last effort to see if we could find a way to help JoJo feel safe and have a less stressful life. From our first meeting with Omar, he demonstrated a calming, knowledgeable and insightful understanding of our situation. He offered strategies that we could start using immediately and, above all, he was patient - both with JoJo AND with us. It has been a journey, and Omar has guided our every step. While JoJo is still reactive, it is FAR less than previously, and she allows us to calm her much more quickly. We are confident that with Omar’s continued coaching, we will get to the place we want to be, for JoJo and for us.

Gusty was able in 2 hours to train my wife and I to transform our dog Roger into a so much better behave dog after just one session. We will to continue use the training techniques daily to make Roger even a better dog and companion. We look forward to our next training session to continue learn more exercises that we can pass on to Roger. So yes, we would highly recommend Gutsy for in home dog training.
