My family has had a great experience with Bark Busters. We have two dogs, an 11 month old shepherd mix (Lady) and a 7.5 month old French Bulldog (Meatloaf). Lady has a lot of anxiety and is high energy and wants to be a pack leader. Lissette came to our home back in September and worked with us and our dogs. We were able to drastically change their behavior in a couple of weeks. After about 2 months Lady started to act out and change her behavior while walking. I messaged Lissette and she scheduled an appointment for another training session right away. Kevin came out to our house and was able to teach us some additional skills to help with Lady's new behaviors as well as reinforce what we learned back in September. We really are getting our money's worth for this training because we are able to get help as new issues arise. We would recommend Bark Busters to anyone.

We call this a work in progress because Bode is an 8 month old cockapoo. So some of the things have been working out wonderful. He still has problems in some areas but he IS a puppy! If we have any questions, Derek answers us immediately. I think Derek‘s gonna be stuck with us for a long time!😂

Derek has worked with muffin for a year now and we’re extremely thankful for his knowledge & expertise. We have a 2 year old mini goldendoodle with never ending energy and saw fantastic results just after one visit. if you want to “speak” dog or actually teach them how do the things you want them to do, i couldn’t recommend them enough!

Lisette and Derek knows everything you need to know about your dogs. They help the owners to understand the dog behaviors, foods, health… everything! They Always response promptly whenever you and your furry friends need them. As first time dog owners we feel so lucky to have them around , we really appreciate their kindness and professional service in the past years. I can’t recommend Bark Busters enough. My girlfriend and I have two medium to large sized dogs (a pitbull mix and a Belgian Malinois). When we tried to introduce them on our own they did not get along at all—were very aggressive and tried to attack each other through the fence constantly . We were moving in together and needed the dogs to get along in the new house. We called Bark Busters and Derek showed us different training techniques and put us on a 5 week regimen. We stuck to the regimen and techniques and we were able to move in with the dogs loving each other. Derek was available for questions throughout the process and continually checked up on us because he genuinely cared about our dogs. Bark Busters was a life saver

Bark Busters is the best! We are so happy with the results from day 1. Lissette was so amazing. She has shown us techniques that has solved so many issues. Their training techniques work with no treats & no force. She fixed 5 issues in the first session. She is very knowledgable & professional. We highly recommend them. You will be amazed. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

Devin is knowledgeable about dogs and Barkbuster’s services seem to cover everything. They cover nutrition to all of my pets issues. The fact I can continue to use them throughout puppyhood is great!

Josh is an absolute wizard with dogs. We adopted a chihuahua that was giving us a headache with territorial behavior, growling, barking, and not listening to our commands. After working with Josh, we can recall our dog, walk him calmly and confidently next to other dogs, and he knows his boundaries inside the house. Our dog is so much more well behaved than we ever thought was possible at the beginning of the process.
PermalinkJosh's methods are all non violent, never relying on physical coercion. He instead teaches you how to communicate with your dog so that he understands what is right and what is wrong. Josh knows when to slowly introduce new methods to see constant progression. Josh doesn't promise overnight results, and indeed some of his communication methods do take some time to stick, but once they stick they are long lasting, permanent solutions.
Josh has a one time upfront payment fee. Even though he doesn't have any incentive to keep contact since he doesn't make more money per visit, he has always been proactive in setting up follow up consultations without us needing to push him. He identifies problem areas and sets up periodic visits even many months after our initial visit.
All in all, we had high expectations when we signed up with Josh but somehow he has still managed to exceed them.
