We had Jeri out today for our first visit with Enzo. She was amazing. Very knowledgeable, and we quickly saw the positive behavior we were looking for from the training. We were quite impressed with how she "trained us" on correcting some walking on leash behaviors. We are looking forward to continuing to work with Jeri! (Yelp)

Reaching out to Bark Busters and Justin has been a great decision and I would 100% recommend it to anyone looking to improve they’re relationship with their dog.
PermalinkWe reached out for help with our 4 month old german shepherd's pup a couple months ago. We were constantly being bit at home and dealing with leash reactivity towards other dogs outside. This created a lot of stress and frustration for us. We didn’t want these things to get any worse so we had to take action.
Justin has been so understanding since the first encounter and was very honest with us. An advanced dog requires advanced leadership skills and we needed to build those. He gives us homework and exercises to do at home and constantly checks in with us.
We have a very sensitive pup, but he is also very stubborn which can sometimes serve as a barrier to progress. Justin has been super understanding and humble enough to try different things. His focus is on finding techniques that will help our dog and not forcing a technique to work. I’m most grateful for his eagerness to help and having constant open communication with honest feedback. We don’t need someone to sugar coat everything for us, we need someone to be assertive and tell us what it is we need to fix.
Our boy is a work in progress but we cannot be happier. He walks so much better, reacts significantly less to other dogs, and most importantly has a new found respect for us as leaders.

Our training session today was great! Nola and ourselves learned multiple ways in which our behaviors can be balanced and leadership understood. We practiced how to walk properly on the leash as well as be non-protective of the door and new people. Nola understood the messages today and we will continue to practice these techniques.

I'm so glad we chose Bark Busters! After taking my now 1 yr old GSD to basic training at 4 months at 7 months he started not following commands any more etc! Plus barking at every one.
PermalinkWe love working with Ryanne & having her teach us in our own home how to teach a dog how they should act & us being the pack leader. It's been roughly 3 weeks & our GSD is making so much progress! Still working on his separation anxiety, but I know we'll get there! Here's Charlee after some long lead excerizes today. :)
If there's anything I can say is chose Bark Busters before anything else, they're life savers!

We are SO happy with the results from Bark Busters training. We have two German Shepherds and between the two of them we have struggled with almost every behavioral issue you can think of. Scott took the time to ask questions about the dogs and our lifestyle then explained how small things we were doing were enabling our dog’s behavior. He showed us how to switch the roles in the household making us the leader of the pack. We instantly saw positive changes in our dog’s behavior and continue to see improvements with each day we practice. Could not be more thankful for Scott and Bark Busters!

I found out about Bark Busters when I was having some struggles with my 3 year old lab, Ruby. She’s a very energetic dog, who loves people. However, she would constantly jump up on people, was pulling at the leash anytime we would try to walk her and anytime our front door opened, she would barrel through to try to greet whoever was there. When we found out we were expecting a baby, we knew we needed to put a stop those behaviors for safety reasons.
PermalinkWe connected with Mariah, and she helped us SO much with Ruby. Right off the bat, Mariah spoke with us about our concerns, and got a good feel of Ruby’s personality before she began the training. When it came to the actual training, Mariah was so thorough. She helped us understand why Ruby was exhibiting those behaviors, then told us what she was doing through the training, why, and helped teach us what to do to help Ruby. Mariah used such a positive, gentle and trusting approach, and Ruby took to her training so quickly. We are so thankful that we had such a great experience, and that we were able to fix these negative behaviors before the baby arrived. I couldn’t recommend her enough!

My fiancé and I rescued our first dog and when we got home he was starting to show signs of fear aggression towards others. My first call was the bark busters. They were able to get us our first appointment within a week. After our first appointment our dog Leo has already changed his behavior! He is not growling at others anymore and feels more comfortable! We are already so grateful for bark busters for supporting our family! We can not wait to see Leo show his love to everyone! Miss Mariah is absolutely wonderful. Our Chloe has severe anxiety and she was very patient, kind, and so great with her. Chloe loved Mariah too. Mariah was very knowledgeable with all her tips and tricks to help us with Chloe. She definitely comes highly recommended by us. She is fabulous

Randy was full of great information about all three of our dogs behavior and gave us easy to methods for training. We set up a great plan for moving forward and I’m really excited to see all the new methods in place! Looking forward to our next training session!

My black lab rescue had a lot of food aggression and wasn’t very friendly. With the training and techniques we learned from Bark Busters, he is now a happy, friendly boy. I love the idea of no shock collars. I highly recommend Bark Busters for your training needs. They also come to you.
