I have two dobermans ages 3 1/2. I needed to learn how to be the leader of this pack. The skills Sharon taught me were/are very effective with my boys. In addition, we worked on their backyard behavior. In the first session she had my boys greeting the neighbors dog with out aggression. Sharon knows dogs and is very patient when teaching her clients. This was well worth the investment. I am so happy I made the appointment. I would definitely recommend her services. Thank you Sharon.

Ben is so amazing with explaining everything and the Bark Busters methods work wonders! Everything exceeded my expectations and the training tools are so easy and intuitive. You aren't just given the tools, but the reasoning behind it which really made perfect sense of everything. We saw an immediate response from our pup and I could not be happier. Highly recommend!

Photo of Nez, Maverick & Belle Holly saved my dog’s life. He is an 11 year old tripod with epilepsy and extreme anxiety and we thought it would be impossible to blend him into a family with two large untrained boundary-pushing dogs. Within ONE HOUR of learning from Holly and all 5 of us (3 dogs and 2 humans) could relax for the first time in what feels like forever. The support she gave and the lessons we learned have given us more than we could thank her for. I never thought the harmony in our home was possible and now it’s like they’ve been waiting for each other their whole lives. Thank you will never be enough, Holly. I get more time with my soul pup and trust back with Maverick and Belle.

Photo of Daisy Gusty us AMAZING!!!!! We saw great results after just 1 session and learn tons with each followup. If you keep up with her lessons you should see great behavioral improvement and management. Our dog was already amazing, but Gusty helped with the transition of our older rehomed puppy to our family.

Something to note about the Bark Busters philosophy- it uses positive reinforcement with solid results...and also acknowledges that your dog is still going to be your dog. Their personality is their personality... so they teach you how to work with the dog that you have instead of the dog that you think you should have.

Karen came and instantly started treating the dog like family, she was very helpful and had very simple but effective way of training with Alexa, she really helped deal with all the issues that our dog was having and now she is a lot more behaved than she was. It was a very good experience and I would recommend to anyone who wants help with their dog.

Pony Express is a rescued mutt and his inner-Chihuahua loves to show up all the time. He loves to bark at every noise and movement, and our guests would get yelled at by him for simply standing up to use the restroom. We tried other training, but the problem is that he'd act like a complete angel when we weren't at home. Chris and the Bark Busters method has been amazing. They are clear and upfront about their pricing and strategies, and they come to your house to see how he behaves naturally. Chris was an extremely calming presence, and stayed with us for hours on our first session as we worked through the psychology of Pony and how to gain control and respect. The homework is reasonable and easy to tackle. A few weeks later, we could share the great strides we and Pony have made on reducing some of his anxiety, and we started working on more techniques. He even brought and provides physical tools and equipment where it would help. He even set up some dog models out on our street and practiced introducing Pony him to animals, which was the first time I've seen that.

The lifetime action is a great reassurance. While we obviously can't know what the future holds, neither does Bark Busters, and they promise to work with whichever problems come in the future. That is much better than dropping hundreds on a class just to have no clue what to do after the session is over, and you have to drop hundreds more for retraining! We should all know how much a dogs personality can change over time, and not always for the better.

So our experience so far has been fantastic, and we've already recommend Bark Busters to someone in our area and will continue to do so. The home visit, the great techniques, the recurring attention... Highly recommend. (It wasn't a problem for us, but they also handle dogs who bite, we've heard)
