Very good experience so far! My dog is learning little by little and is showing that he is listening to commands. Rob provides clear instructions on how to properly follow the steps in training Rocky and Canelo!

I am so happy I decided to go with bark busters to train my two pups! Karina came with enthusiasm and educated me a lot on dog behavior. Within minutes my dogs were listening attentively when we did some work on door manners. Karina then left me with exercises to do daily. I can't wait to see my dogs in two weeks in just two days they are way more behaved!!

Wow! What a difference one lesson can make! I was really worried because my 3-year-old dog Murphy was aggressive on leash and used to bark, growl and lunge at other dogs while we were walking. It got so bad I would only go out at night when no one was around. That was until I met Gusty and everything changed.
PermalinkThe great part of the BarkBusters training is it does not rely on treats, shock collars or prong collars, none of which I ever have handy. Gusty taught me how to talk to my dog so he understands me using my voice and hand gestures. It made a lot of sense because puppies initially learn things from their Mamas and thye Mama dog doesn't have treats!
I can say the lesson was lifechanging for Murphy and I. Now we go on walks all the time, and Murphy is great on a loose leash, walking calmly by my side.
My only regret? That I waited 3 years to fix this problem!

We reached out to Johnny after getting a rescue dog that was ruling the roost. We were struggling to integrate him with our cat, despite being told that he got along with felines. Our new Mastiff /Great Dane mix was jumping on top of kitchen counters, stealing all food in sight, chasing our cat with a few scary snaps and we'd even suffered several walking injuries from him darting towards animals. (We've had several dogs in the past and consider ourselves athletic, this was just a whole new level of new-pup excitement). Johnny came to the rescue, giving us the skills we needed to tame our boy, and take him from Kujo to Clifford.
PermalinkIn all seriousness, Johnny is extremely knowledgeable and I would recommend him for any training needs, especially when you see the sweetness in a new pet and just need support gaining control. We've met with Johnny several times, and it never feels rushed. He answers every question while in person or through texts and asks just the right questions to get down to the cause of the behavior in order to create a custom plan to correct it. He is not a one-size-fits-all, do-the-same-thing-for-every-client kind of trainer. He truly listens, checks in on progress and gives actionable suggestions that will make you and your pet enjoy each other so much more. Until he came around, we seriously questioned it our new pup would be a fit. Thankfully, our house is much calmer these days. Thank you so much, Johnny!
