Photo of Oakley I cannot tell you how much I learned today. The improvement I have seen in this first session alone with my dog is absolutely incredible. 5/5 starts and I wish I could give it more.

With mom taking charge Oakley has been doing great! We addressed his barking and reactivity in the home! He responded very well. Now that Lizzie has the tools Oakley will continue to improve.

    Trainer Note:
Blue is a really awesome pup but has really been struggling with all the responsibility of guarding the home. We addressed his barking and aggression around the front gate area. Now with Chris and Amanda being the leaders he can now relax. Really looking forward to his improvement over the coming weeks.

We made the decision to seek out professional help when our otherwise gentle 20-month old Janey started to show signs of aggression towards dogs and people with whom she was not familiar. We noticed that her anxiety, when either of us wasn’t in sight, was also intensifying. Prior to contacting Keith at Bark Busters, we were told by a trainer that Janey wasn’t aggressive, but rather very “defensive.” He believed she needed more intensive behavioral training than he had time to provide and suggested that we enroll her in a 2-week “bootcamp”. We were concerned that a two-week separation could be detrimental and began searching the internet for a local dog behavioral therapist who could also work with us, as we are first time dog owners. That’s when we found Keith at Bark Busters.
Keith’s initial visit to the house lasted several hours. He assessed us as dog owners, reviewed the questionnaire we completed and then met Janey, whose issues with strangers were apparent. Keith was very soft-spoken and positive, which happened to be a perfect approach for her. The next time Keith came to the house, Janey approached him like an old friend.
So far, Keith has made a few house visits and within several weeks of following the agreed upon plan we have seen considerable progress. He has also made himself available to our inquiries via text message or email and always replies promptly. Just recently he agreed to meet us at a neutral location with other family members to assist with introductions prior to an upcoming vacation.
Janey has learned to respect the boundaries set regarding visitors and other dogs with whom she’s come in contact. The excessive pulling during walks is almost nonexistent. By no means is her behavior perfect, but since Day 1, we’ve seen an improvement. We’re confident that we’ll continue to make meaningful strides.
We highly recommend Keith and Bark Busters.

    Trainer Note:
Sadie has started to develop separation anxiety with her mom Carolyn. Today we addressed that and also her overall behavior we also worked with her sister Brandie. They both responded very well! We worked on recall and leadership. With Doug and Carolyn being consistent they will continue to improve.

Photo of Billie and Becky Bark Busters Los Angeles is amazing!!! Couldn't be happier finding them! I want to mention that I researched about 7 different companies and they gave me some insight on how they did things like crate training, bark collars, etc. What sparked my interest was there aren't any bark collars involved! I first spoke to Derek for my initial appointment. He was so helpful and mentioned Karina was also a doggie nutritionist. That in itself is already a great deal! Karina came by earlier which was nice! Very sweet and had such a great positive attitude! Let's just say she impressed us so much and already got our dogs to stop barking at the door! I do like how we communicate to the dogs instead of forcing them to do things which makes sense and confuses them. The training works and we're excited to see more improvements. It's only been 3 days we're ecstatic! Crazy thing is that before our lesson we were even recommended Bark Busters! They really changed our way of what we though dog training was. They also offer a lifetime support which is insane cus I have seen so many people waste money on training with no results! I recommend everyone to bark busters and if you can request Karina, I HIGHLY recommend her! She felt like a friend teaching us the much needed ropes and made us feel very comfortable. They also will follow the dog after one time payment IF the owner rehomes! It shows home much they care for the muppets! Thank you so much for everything and we look forward to working with you forever!

    to me

I called Bark Busters to help with my dogs' Separation Anxiety while living in an apartment. Diane and John have been fantastic! We are only 2 training sessions down and I have seen a huge difference in my dog. We also moved cities to a house between training and Diane and John were always available by text or call for any issues we had! I would 100% recommend them.
