We started working with Hanna in January for one of our pups (7.5 yrs) who in the month prior started to get aggressive towards our older pup (13 yrs). Luckily it wasn’t to a point where they had to be constantly separated and a couple of days after the first training it was night and day difference in their temperaments! We are seeing a lot of improvements in most of the areas we are focusing on. Some habits are hard to break (like going straight for the couch first thing in the am) but it’s a work in progress. We are so happy we made this investment for our pup and are excited for what the future holds!

We’ve done different types of trainings over the years with our different dogs, but the Bark Busters methods make so much more sense. It’s a very calm and quiet way to train rather than yelling commands. I have learned to understand my dog’s body language, anticipate his behavior, and be proactive instead of reactive. We are being taught to train our dog for behaviors we want him to have in our household, not what someone else thinks he should do. Our trainer, Hanna, has been so resourceful and supportive. In the past I’ve never felt confident in my abilities to train a dog - I often feel reprimanded for not doing things the right way in classes. But Hanna is gentle and kind, and has given me the confidence that I can do this and be successful.

Kristyn did an outstanding evaluating Penny's needs to stop her barking. She gave us the tools needed to change the behavior. So far, everything is working.
PermalinkOur goal was to stop the barking, but we learned so much more that will help us with other behaviors that we want to modify and to also improve her nutrition.

I am so happy I found Bonnie and Bark Busters. My patience was challenged and I needed expert training for my psychiatric service dog. Bonnie was able to step in and help. She was cheerful, easy, and bonded with my dog instantly. Now, my dog has qualified as a service dog through the help of Bark Busters Boston. THANK YOU Bonnie.

Heather is an amazing trainer. We are first time dog owners of a 7 month old Cane Corso which means we have a lot of questions. Heather is very quick at responding to all inquiries that we present to her whether it’s through email, text message or phone calls. The training sessions are informative and never feel rushed. We are very grateful for all of the support that she has provided thus far.

Sara was absolutely amazing, and we learned so much from her! We absolutely love her and this program! My boy zombie has separation anxiety and is reactive to other humans and dogs and in one session we are already seeing a change in his behavior. We are so excited for him to be able to be calm and carefree and live his life to the fullest! Thank you so much for training us to train him correctly!!!

Sharon helped me immensely to understand my dog’s communication to me and how I can communicate more clearly for my dog. She explains it clearly and thoroughly. My dog is reactive to men and Sharon’s teaching has already helped us in a short time. I know it will only get better as we continue.

We can't recommend Deb Boswell and Bark Busters enough! We have three poodles (ages 7, 5, and 3), and after five weeks, there is a huge difference in their behavior. Their door manners when guests come over and overall barking have completely changed, and we can't believe the difference. Bark Busters' holistic approach is effective and safe, and we love that we didn't have to use e-collars or treats to help train. A wonderful training experience — we are so glad we found Deb to help us!
